Showed* it's dead again. Lost World and Sonic Boom are awful. They had the gameplay formula PERFECT for Generations, and the reviews reflected that. Somehow Sega and Sonic Team can't see that and fucked up the franchise AGAIN.

I find it odd that there's people asking what the truck driver's problem is when it's clearly a G.U.N truck. And in Adventure 2 where this stage comes from, G.U.N capture Sonic mistaking him for Shadow and then they try and recapture him when he escapes. These stages are basically Sonic going back to those points in time and reliving them, so it's still the exact same moment as in SA2, in terms of in-game. We're just seeing a different interpretation of it then before.

City Escape from Sonic Adventure 2 is one of the best level 1-levels. Its trademark (or gimmick) is mostly because of the truck although it was more "decoration" then something dangerous (except on hard mode). In Generations they made it more interesting so they added some saws (now you just won't need to hold down on the control stick but you also have to avoid them).
God, 2011 seems so long ago...I remember back when I first got this game, I cried because my brother got to play first and wouldn't let me play lol. I was a master (in my opinion) at this game. I got an S for every stage and boss battle besides Planet Wisp and the final boss battle ;-;. I came back here because the new sonic trailer was so bad I just wanted to come back to the good ol' days QwQ ITS SO NOSTALGIC I CRII

This is my favorite stage in Sonic Generations! I love it so much! I've only played the XBox version though, so it feels weird seeing the different commands.

I question that my self, but then again, the people who worked on Forces was different from the people who worked on Generations. Not only that, most of the people who worked on forces were newbies. Also, the team wasn't as big as the team who worked on Generations. TBH, I woulnd't call Forces a bad game because it's not on it's own, but it's *_NOWHERE near the level that Generations (along with Colors, and Unleashed)_* are. That's what makes Forces disappointing compared to it's predecessors.

They overdid themselves with the city escape remake. :) omg so much fucking nostalgia I almost literally cried. I played this level just last night and had to find this video to remind me of how fucking epic this remake was. Hands down the best remake of anything in a video game. The epic truck chase got even more epic and outright unrealistic... I FUCKING LOVED IT. Damn I miss my childhood and sonic adventure 2! ~

I don't know. They might put the truck on rails and force the player to hold down Boost in a 2D area.
