- This is a video from me, DarkspinesSonic A.K.A Da1AndOnlySonic, showing an S-Rank battle against Hard Mode Silver the Hedgehog on Sonic Generations for the PS3. This is one of many S-Rank videos to come for Sonic's 20th Anniversary celebration video game, which will include every act as well as every boss and rival (both on hard mode). Enjoy! ^_^

Huh.
I just noticed (with the help of TV Tropes) that whenever you replay this battle, both Silver and Sonic are smiling in the intro cutscene instead of frowning.
That's a really nice detail, especially given that Silver treats every rematch as a fun sparring session rather than an actual fight.

Since the new voice cast, Silver has had only 4 lines so far, unless you count the over 9000 sounds of him grunting and yelling and saying "ha".
Bryce Papenbrook voices him now since TSR.

both this & his perfect chaos boss fight in this game show how strong Sonic has gotten over the years because back then both of them couldve (& Silver did) kick his ass
Eric Hardeman Ikr, a lot a difference adding a new move (The Sonic Boost) can make.
I wonder how long it will be before Silver gets his own game? Shadow did, and Sonic... well you know of course. But we could really use a good Silver game.

The only thing missing on that part was a big explosion.
Anyone else notice that after Sonic pwns Silver for the final time at 2:26, you can still see Silver's white silhouette bouncing around on the ground in the back?
You can even still see him sitting there during the Results Screen, it's hilarious.

To be honest, I wish the vehicles were a bit more random in the hard mode battle, forcing you to rely on light speed rings or the air boost

oops sorry didn't mean to say "as fast as" i meant to say he can run at comparable speeds to sonic and shadow. Sonic will always be the fastest but shadow and silver can still have high enough speed to catch up with him
Actually it was a surprise party for sonic. I guess Tails sent invitations and besides this was the past in Sonic 06 when Silver thought sonic was the Iblis Trigger.

Somehow, I always did better in the hard modes of the bosses than in the normal modes. Perfect Chaos was an exception

Silver even on Hard Mode is way easier than Normal Shadow.
Silver deserved this ass kicking so badly - I LOVED the trophy at the end, - and make no mistake, we deserve a trophy as fitting as Silver got SERVED
Why?? BEcause we owe him a couple trillion ass-kickings for what he did in 06- even if he doesn't remember it(time shenanigans and all), Sonic still does- Silver's had this comic for so long- gah, even Big doesn't make me angry like Silver did in those fights(at least Shadow didn't take any crap from him back then)- Sonic's revenge!!!
I actually, this is modern Silver. He says before the fight "Are you the real Sonic or are you an impostor?
He's using his telekinetic powers to levitate and boost himself. Sonic Rivals 1 & 2 :P

Hey DsS, have you encountered the roadkill glitch in this boss, in which you can play as Sonic in his death animation? Apparently you do it by tripping over a car just as Silver kills you, but I can't do it properly myself...

@0906smw Katamari is a game where you are a prince who rolls gigantic balls of junk for his dad, the king, to turn into stars, usually the king destroys all the stars by accident.

Shame Silver's only playable game was Sonic 06. I could see a lot of potential in his character and gameplay.

Perfect is the only Boss whose amount of hits doesn't change, even in hard mode (I wonder why).

um, in the results screen, I think you can see Silver in the background. He's pretty far away, but I don't think he's moving. Maybe you should check on him, Sonic?

Sonic 06 never happened first off and Silver has always been able to fly and run as fast as sonic (as shown in Sonic generations 3ds silvers boss battle) he just never had a game where he could show his true speed until now
