Creators were trying to find this tutorial for 2 years or so and there was no single video on RUclips about this. Agreed! The same for car transitions on DaVinici using the graph editor which is why im considering making one. NO ONE wants to spill the sauce on it and I kind of want to go for it since people think After Effects is the only way to do it. I had to open AE to do it till I found we can do the same here. SO happy.

    Hi Duoco Thanks for this excellent detailed tutorial however even after watching it last 13 days 100s of time I cant get my speed ramping in fusion at all, since you are planing 2nd part of this here is my feedback.
    1. Make it user friendly by reducing the screen resolution as of now the font is so small due to larger screen you are using that most people with less resolution will not be able to see the text.
    2. Make it user friendly for fusion beginners so they can also follow it.
    I tried my best to create the linear speed ramp but when I play the video no speeding is happening I even try to follow your ramping with beizer handles even that fails to speed up, what am I missing? Some additional info would help me to get this working. Do I need to click some extra buttons to see the speed ramp?

    • @naskutak
      @naskutak 10 месяцев назад +1

      when I do everything as in the video, I don't get the same results. key frames go from high speed to low speed on the graph. Can you change the resolution of your monitor? As I see, most of us have the same problem.
      And to go more slowly, to overlook the difficulties we might have and to warn us in those cases.
      In any case, thanks and you have SUB

    To make it even smoother, you can place an Optical Flow node behind the Time Stretcher and set it to 'Flow' to enable frame interpolation. For the best results with Motion Blur, you can use the Vector Motion Blur Node, which also requires an Optical Flow node behind it. 😄

    This is what I have been looking for a long time and I couldn't find it.
    At the moment I am editing real estate videos in PP and I always saw this kind of real estate videos on instagram and youtube having this smooth transitions and I could not replicate this in PP. So I cam to the conlcusion that only Final Cut is capable of delivering such smooth speedramp transitions but now that you showed me that it is possible to do it in Davinci as well I am almost decided to make the move from PP to Davinci.
    Thank you for sharing.

    I watched your video a few minutes ago. And then it kinda dawned me how cool it is to do the speedramp within fusion. The curve control is much better. And they are extensions that even help with finding the right curve. Then there is option to turn it into a template. If I go there and let the blur be handled within fusion, it should be possible to use the keyframe stretcher which allows this to be an effect that can be just dropped on a clip. The input timing is important. So either the clip has to be positioned at the 0 keyframe to work or it has to be put in a compound clip first before applying the effect. But in principle it should work. Anyways great stuff. I really appreciate your tutorial!

    • @NeoStarImpact
      @NeoStarImpact 2 месяца назад

      @CommentCorrector I haven't seen your reply sorry. But it works. If you have a clip and put it into a compound clip or fusion clip, you have made the necessary preparation.
      You can then apply a fusion template on top that has the flexibility that I talked about.
      I usually don't make Davinci guides on my channel so hopefully this creator makes a follow up on his video. :)

If I set my ramp to (let's say) 800%...then I increase it to 1200%, odds are the the speed points sit too high in the window to be able to select and change them from the hard ramp to the curved bezier... when I do everything as in the video, I don't get the same results. key frames go from high speed to low speed on the graph. Can you change the resolution of your monitor? As I see, most of us have the same problem.
    And to go more slowly, to overlook the difficulties we might have and to warn us in those cases.
    In any case, thanks and you have SUB

    Guys please help. II've been speed ramping since many years, earlier in PremierePro and now in Davinci.
    Can anyone please tell me why we need fusion for the ramping, and there are so many tutorials about doing this in fusion. All this can be done within the edit page, except the the effects like motion blur and all. My question is specifically about the ramping.
    PS - Thanks a lot for this tutorial.

    Hi,
    Thank you for the lesson. I would like to find out. Do you use autofocus or set the focus manually? And what aperture are you using? Thank you.

    Great tutorial! I’ve watched it several times over.
    This might be a user error. But I can’t figure out why when I apply the time stretcher in fusion with 0 at the first marker and then total frames from the left at the last marker while making sure my curves are not horizontal in the start and the curves are curving on the last marker.
    The playback doesn’t create a speed ramp for me but instead it lags out or stays on a single frame.
    I thought maybe it was because I had my frame rate output at 24 fps in the settings for Davinci so I created a new project and switched to 30 fps. And btw I shot everything at 60 fps but still same issue.
    Then I thought it was because I was on windows so I tried on the Mac and got the same issue so imma take a break, put a prayer together and let me watch it a couple more times and see if I’m missing something else.
    If anybody else has had the same issue and figured out why it’s not speed ramping. I would appreciate that insight!
    Appreciate the energy that was brought into the world with putting this video out and the media community. Thanks bro for taking time out your day to put others on!
