I like how you did everything in the retime curve menu. and keyboard shortcuts, versus adding key point and moving the slider, nice, and new trick for me
Yea I second this. I currently add a key point to the clip, hold and drag it up to speed up the clip, I'm pretty sure I first learnt this watching a Jaime Fenn vid. I find it super glitchy moving the key point when I'm working in tight close to the end of a clip. This way seems much better. And I'm straight up hot keying the add key point and retime curve to my mouse. Thats Awesome.
Fam. You did it. You solved the mystery of the disappearing speedlines in resolve.... Bru you don't know how long I've been waiting for this day..... Thank you so much fella. God's blessings over your life in Jesus name!!!
Most of my gimbal settings are still on default if I'm honest. I find as long as I balance the camera correctly I've never had any issues. If there's anything to change it'd be the following speed and that goes between slow or medium depending on what I'm filming, for speed ramping it'd be better to be slow so you can take your time and control everything yourself unless you went into FPV mode where then you'd need it a bit faster
What you are teaching is excellent but if you would have given sample footage along with it then it would have been helpful for all the beginners to learn.
the best tutorial on speed ramping thank you

What settings do you use for your timeline sequence? Do you bring 60 fps footage into a 24 fps timeline or a 60 fps?
I always use a 24fps timeline and place the 60fps footage onto that. This gives me the ability to slow it down up to 40%
More Davinci tutorials please 🙏🏾😩 great tips
Coming shortly! Thanks for watching 🙌🏻

Nice!
Nice one bro! Do you have any preferable gimbal settings for smooth movement to help keep the subject centred such as deadband settings etc`?

Would love a final cut version 🙏
We'll check what we can do!
i dont have direction blu effect in my effect and i have the studio version?
You can find the built-in Directional Blur Effect in the Open FX Tab in your Effecs Toolbox for sure.
What's the best fps to shoot for speed ramping?
as JC told at 2:45 he shoots often with 50/60fps - a sweet spot 🙌🏻
Thanks
You are welcome💪🏻

Haha nice! I find myself "speed ramping" during the shot.. good tip to remember not to do that!
How to speed ramp in Final Cut Pro
You can find a lot of tutorials on RUclips🙌🏻
Why is no one showing the curve ?!
it all depends on your footage, there is no golden speed ramp curve that will look good on everything so it's mostly shaping it for your own liking:)
✌....
✌🏻
do not use speed ramping in the color page its a long journey to the same destination
