So that's how this animation is pulled off. Good to know. The more I see your videos, the more impressed I am with the power in DaVinci Resolve. Thanks for sharing this technique.
This was the first video I’ve watched from you. You did a great job keeping it entertaining and I 100% need your style of teaching for Davinci Resolve. Would love it if in future videos you specify the frame rates being used, although you did end up showing us anyway so I can totally understand if your logic was show don’t tell. Aside from that, I would love to see a tutorial on how you are doing those rotating pan shots when displaying your screen recordings. Thanks and congratulations on the channel growth! I can tell you’re going to be one of the best DaVinci Resolve tutorial channels. I’m already about to watch your other two videos
Don't worry mate, I have a long list of video idea's and that's already one of them. For now go into fusion and play around with the DVE node. That's what I use for creating that effect quickly there are other ways but take more time which I'll show in a future video :)
Hey, i watch hours of RUclips content on a daily basis and since switching from FCP i have been watching Davinci videos, you have something going here as you are engaging when explaining and that is a skill, since moving over i would say the one thing that really frustrates me is the lack of decent plugins, so maybe you could also do that to boost your following - Finally if ever you get the chance a video on how to work with the whole project mess when you do download 3rd party plugins would be very helpful as those who do them as just .dra files are being lazy and you still have to do lots of work just to get something basic - keep up the good work
You teach very practical content for Asians like me to watch and have learned many things from your videos. I hope you'll come up with more effects tips in danvinci in the near future. Thank you bro, please continue to develop
Great video mate! I just switched to Davinci and really love this program but basics as this still have to learn somewhere and this was really helpful. Thank you!
Why does speed-ramping the middle section of a clip cause the transition to disappear at the end by default (without a ripple for the space), especially when none of the speed-ramped section of the clip was within that transition section (which remained at 100% speed)? How do you speed ramp and keep that subsequent transition? In Final Cut Pro, that transition would be left alone and the entire timeline following the speed ramp would simply be brought backwards. But when you speed ramp in Davinci, it just creates a space between your ramped clip and the next and just trashes the transition you had there.
I'm really glad RUclips suggested your video on my Home page. I can already see you blowing up here. I'd say "new sub" but that goes without saying. More like, new role model (for me).
Great video :) you know if your key points disappear you can adjust the little % boxes on top and bottom to the left on timeline (took me an hour of frustration to figure that out)
Hey mate, great content. How do I learn how to edit the way you are showcasing where we go in the DaVinci software? Such as the 3d images, zooms, transitions etc. would really appreciate your help 🙏🏻
Hey, DanVinci! This tutorial is really amazing, i loved it because helped me a lot. Just need to ask you something... abou the motion blur, it doesnt show on my open fx... do i need to download and have them on my program? or it should be here...? Can you please help me? Im new to the program, starting as an editor few weeks ago... i hope you can help! By the way, thank you so much for this incredible tutorial.
Thank you for this!!! Made it super simple to understand. I have a question about when you talked about the keyframe disappearing into "the void" though. Is there no way to see it once it gets to that point? I have some speed adjustments I want to make on some drone footage and want to boost the speed to like 800% but once it goes above 300% / 400%, I can no longer see the top of the curve which makes it difficult to manage smoothness. Any suggestions?
Yo, I got here from the 10 things I wish I knew vid, ur doing solid bro lmao keep up the character. Also ur front paged now when YT searching "davinci resolve" 🙏🏼
awsome video pal. i just wanted to ask coming over from Premiere pro, i used to use the Rate Stretch Tool quite a lot, the rate stretch tool does work in Davinci, however once the clips have been speed ramped, when i use the Rate Stretch Tool it will only speed up or slow down the last part of the speed clip after the speed point, it wont affect the whole clip and i need the rate stretch tool to affect the whole clip after applying the speed curves, because for example the clip might be 4 seconds after re timing, however if i need the clip to be 3 seconds, i would use the rate stretch tool to speed up the entire clip to make it 3 seconds. hope this makes sense!
Thanks mate, yeah so if I understand you correctly you could maybe create a new compound clip by right clicking on that clip your on about then speed ramp it. That’ll change the speed of the whole clip. Then if the frames are too low go over to inspector tab and go to speed at the very bottem I think and click optical flow in one of the drop downs. I’m not at my pc right now that’s roughly where it is. And that’ll give you a smoother look.
@@Danvinci1 yes that has worked just tried it, i do wish on the rate stretch tool on davinci when we press control R and the blue arrows come up, when we retime the clip unfortunatly it doesnt show how long the clip is being compressed to, for example if the clip is 5 seconds and i use the rate strech tool to make the clip shorter, i then have to press control D the check the duration of the clip as in my workflow i use a lot of 5 seconds clips compressed to 3 seconds using the rate strech tool, in Premiere when using the rate stretch tool, as i am making the clip shorter or longer it would show the duration of the clip so i know how long or short i am streching the clip to, when using the other tools in davinci to cut or make pull the clip it does show the duration of the clip, next to the clip the mins/seconds show, but when pulling or shortening the clip from the Blue arrows when re time is activated it does not show the duration of the clip anymore so then i have to press control D, to manually check the time of each clip . any ideas how i can get da vinci to display the times when using the rate strech tool ? i make a lot of these fast paced viral edits and most of my clips are around 2-3 seconds rate stretched from 4-5 seconds to create a sequence of a 20-30 second clip. so its very important each clip is 2-3 seconds.
I just wanna be able to have a bellcurve, 100% gradually up to 400% in the middle and back to 100%, Why can't it be simple like the keyframes of a Zoom
I literally JUST the other day discovered the arrows next to the keyframe indicators that turn red when you are on a selected keyframe… GAMECHANGER!!!!
I think when you hover over the (300.00%) then you can increase it to whatever you want (900,00%) by dragging left or right. Do the same on the bottom (-300,00%) for negative. I hope that helps
I do use the paid version. But that shouldn’t effect you at all I imagine you’ll need to adjust your speed ramp key frames a little to make it smoother 😊
hi Mate cool video, no chatting crap for 15 mins to then explain what you are doing in 2 lol. yes i have subbed and wish you luck for the channel. ps. maybe you should say if its in the free version as well what you are doing. I know this is but the magic mask i think is not
Thanks mate. Yeah I didn’t realise that the magic mask was only in the studio version till after this video went out. Also sorta started making these because I was fed up with people talking crap for ages before showing what actually to do. I wanna make a tutorial channel that’s both straight to the point but also entertaining. Thats the overall goal 😊
So that's how this animation is pulled off. Good to know. The more I see your videos, the more impressed I am with the power in DaVinci Resolve. Thanks for sharing this technique.
I don't know where you shoot videos, but now you have an audience in Turkey.
AMAZING! Going to turkey later this year!
I love turkey 🤤
ctrl + R didnt work for me but command + R did. i use a mac book. if you have the same computer n problem as me i hope my comment helped
Well explained, and you will reach 10K very soon

doing so far so good happy to be here
You explain the process extremely simple so a 4 y.o child could understand that. Amazing job, thanks❤
I will be using this transition in my videos from now on. Thanks for sharing the technique.

A site called Artlist
Very good presentation 😊

great video but can you apply a speed ramp to slow down your presentation because you go soooo fast!

heyyyyyy make a video tutorial to recreate a d2short like videos in Dacinci resolve with speed ramping
Could you make a video about zoom blur for real estate? for instance having the drone footage go straight into the home very smoothly?
I’m planning on doing seamless transitions very soon which should help with this kind of content 👍
Love your youtube name.
Great video thanks 👍 love the motion blur part not seen that done in a tutorial so thanks.
Thanks 😊
Thank you so much, man. I've been looking for that for a long time.
Was this shot in 60fps? On a 24f timeline? Although this was a great tutorial, it Would’ve been great to know that kind of information.
Great job 👏

How to create 3D text out line like SHANG-CHI title. Please explained any video s.
Excellent to-the-point instruction! Liked, subscribed and saved this video to my playlist for future reference!
Hi. Can we know witch sound effect did you used for the speed ramping part? Thanks a lot mate.
Nicely explained 👍
Easy! I've been trying to find out how to go mega quick! 😂 Didn't know about dragging it up. So thanks!

another good video! How long you been using Danvinci,,,,,,,er Davinci?
Probably almost 3 years full time. I used Adobe suite before that for years.
Amazing Work
This was great, problem is that couldn’t download it
Nicely explained, subscribed... waiting for lot more useful videos from you
Great tutorial. I gave thumb up.
well done, amazing video
This is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Curious what your video settings are in your camera when you know you are going to speed ramp, if any thing different.
Thank you!
No worries 😉
Nice tutorials bro! u gained another sub. keep up xD
Thanks so much!
Directional blur is a poor choice for the adjustment clip, instead add optical flow and vector based motion blur in fusion for adjustment clip
Dan, thanks for the clear explanations that get straight to the point. Plus you're really funny. Like and subscription to your channel are mandatory 😉
Welp that was a fire intro
do i need a paid version of davinci resolve for this kind of speed ramping?
Hi. This is nice, but I have a question: I clic on the keyframe button at 2:15, but no keyframe pops up under the cursor. Why?
Amazing bro love from Pakistan ❤
nice one thank you so much
I'm looking forward to the day when the retime curve viewer will scale while going over 800 percent.
Awesome intro, Keep it going
Subscribed & liked! Thank you, well done!
My clip does not have the retime speed triangle visible where it shows on yours, nor does the keyframe icon on the right.
Awesome 👌
Hey DanVinci Im RayAlity
Great vid.
Hello bro,
Could you please make video on " How to stabilise rotational video / Hyperlapse " I didn't found anything on this. Please help ✨
Yeah I can definitely do some coverage of stabilisation at some point 👍👍
