if they just fix the dribbling/skatiness, it will be most complete game. & there is no other place to play offline career mode.
Agreed, also the passing shouldn't go straight to the players feet, the players need to position and control the ball when recieving it

efootball gameplay is not good…. only thing good about the game is that its free
Difference is, everything else is the fluff that is relatively easy to add once Konami has the resources for it. EAFC to improve game play? Likely not.
Efootball Offline gameplay is very good.

@@skinless333x2 in software development, you have to prove the business is profitable before get more resources. Then you need to create new teams and hire people. Not easy to do in a corporate setting.
As an offline player, career mode is surprisingly good with all the updates EA have made this year. Imo this is the closest we've come to the highs of Pes 21. Time will tell if it surpasses that. FL doesn't do it for me anymore.

You know, I'm watching this and I still have that feeling that it's plastic toys moving on green texture. It's still almost same fifa17 but with new lights. That's it.
Of course it's worth playing over efootball,there is nothing to do in efootball! And I'm a long time PES man,but I will definitely be buying FC25.

I like the sim sliders, but I had to up the sprint speed a bit to get rid of the hamster wheel effect. Honestly, it's not a bad game in my opinion. It still doesn't have that bit of magic that PES has, in terms of player movement and ball physics, but it's fun and the amount of content is crazy. I like the newest version of eFootball, but man, on PS5 that shit'll make your eyes bleed. I'm pretty sure they're running it at 1080p. EA FC is gorgeous by comparison.

Back in the day if PES ML on PES 2/3/4/5/6. It always had that one more game feeling.

The bottle line is, if you like online pvp play eafc 25, as there is no scripting on your input command. unlike efootball, which is heavily scripted online.
And if you like offline mode, just play efootball 2025 as you can manage the scripting against the AI

@@Radfootball007 If you want to believe the game isn't scripted, that's your choice-I'm not here to argue. But I won't play a game where my defender, with 90 jumping and 90 heading, gets outperformed by someone with only 60 in both, jumping higher and heading the ball better.
In EA FC 25, I have full control of my players and defense, unlike in eFootball, where interceptions seem scripted, shot blocking is unreliable, or my goalkeeper and players suddenly switch off in the 89th minute of the game, letting the other team win, even when I have 70% possession and 15 shots.

Even if you have higher jump, height and heading there is a time you will lose aerial duel, most of the times you will win but its not 100%.

I played simulation mode on Xbox One (don’t have next gen yet) and I reckon most people would prefer it to the next gen gameplay

It seems much better than EA FC24. I would go for a slower pace to make it more realistic, considering the limitations of the engine used by EA. I enjoyed this video way more than all ther other videos about EA FC24 I've seen. It's an upgrade for sure. Is it the best football game in terms of gameplay? Hmmm not, but they are getting there maybe. eFootball gameplay + EA FC25 environment would be the best game, not perfect but the way to go.

The real problem FIFA-EAFC gameplay is the animations and physics. Until they stop being lazy with them, it will always look and play unrealistic.

FC gameplay is still bad for me, but the biggest problem the game to look so .. stiff and robotic is animations, mostly the passing animations, when designing an animation there is:
1) preparation / leg swing,
2) hitting the ball,
3) finishing animation
in FC in most cases 1) and 3) is non-existent, skips or is speed up, and barely noticeable, doesn't match of the speed and direction of the pass/ball, so the animations look weird and unnatural.
I was kinda hoping this simulation mode would be good in career mode

EAFC has the same issues FIFA had, all players and teams feel and play the same. Offline is really dull, the hype and cut scenes are nice at the start but you find you quickly start skipping them.

No worries man. It’s just you mentioned in this video the Ai passing too much in simulation mode. Apparently you can control all that in the new cpu sliders. I haven’t heard anything in depth regarding these sliders. You and TheTruBrits could maybe do a video on them and their impact. See if we can get an enjoyable game. Thanks.

@@gamingkingpin5481 horrendous on pc ngl haha. I've had tearing. On ultra for 3070 rtx and monster CPU it was really bad FPS 20-25. I set everything to auto.

FC25 is a step in the right direction. Unlike Konami, EA have put on some effort. Career mode is improved and the gameplay has improved as well along with new tactics settings. Get rid of the ice skating, stop giving cat reflexes to players, improve ball physics and then there's no looking back for FC25.
eFootball can bite the dust if they don't up their game and keep giving us a mobile game in the name of a "next gen experience".

Should probably called it EA FC 24.5 really... same as last year in most areas, additional on entrance scene and bit more, but not affecting the gameplay overall.
I know a lot of people trash EA. I was one of them, however, with FIFA 22 to now. They at least add more features and are listening or somewhat listening to PES fans. I don't think gameplay will get better until a new engine? Just my opinion.
I've been buying it just to support them again. I haven't bought EA FIFA games since 14. As long as EA tries, I'll keep buying.
One question. Can we always show player name above the player with player name box still active? Like in FIFA 16.
Eafc is perfect till it comes to defending how you have to hold contain and shimmy around endlessly looks so unrealistic then and it’s bloody annoying and frustrating other than that it’s pretty good

I think I've finally realised why I find fifa so unnatural. It really seems like you're actually just controlling the ball, and then the engine is then finding a matching animation. I'm guessing it feels more responsive this way but the constant foot sliding looks horrible to me.
the only reason i play efootball now is because of the finesse dribbling and sprint being so intuitive and easy and nice to use...

Am I the only one who notices how EA FC players most of the time, during their runs, mostly when they run in possession, their steps are not relative to their speed. You'll find a player with slow feet movement, but high speed. It doesn't always happen, but if you really pay attention you'll see it. It is probably why players feel like they are floating when you dribble with the left analog, they turn so fast, its like the ground is glass and they are wearing socks, it doesn't feel real at all. I don't know if I am making sense, but this is the only reason I prefer Konami Efootball over EA FC when it comes to gameplay.

The thing about EA FC is that when you purchase it for 59 dollars, you know what you are getting. And that is because the publisher and developers know what they are going for. They are going for an arcade quick game, that is meant to be played multiplayer, where you collect the best cards to build the best team, and grind the divisions, and collect the reward in the weekend. And all of that is packaged in a slick and modern package, that contains stunning visuals and amazing menus, which respects the 59 dollars that you paid. And EA FC puts eFootball to shame in this aspect. eFootball gives way better gameplay, but also a gameplay with a lot of issues, and that's it. EA FC is not going for realism, they are going for arcade quick play, that's meant to be played with friends or online, and they are clear about that. And eFootball is the complete opposite of that. They change the gameplay and the gameplay speed almost every season, they rely on horrid menus, and the they use horrible looking cutscenes and celebrations, and they rarely update anything, and to date, eFootball still feels like a lifeless prototype. The community has been complaining about the menus, the input delay that still reaches 31ms at times, the turf, the graphics, master league, modes...etc, and Konami literally gave us the middle finger with eFootball 2025, where they gave us the same sh*, just with a different name, new cards, and an apology from the admin.

No apology. No information about the game. No roadmap. Literally nothing. I've never seen a gaming company that treats its fan like trash. Never seen a company that takes its fans for granted. Boils my blood. 3 freakin years to release a exhibition mode. Menus look horrendous. Graphics is 50-50; nothing like next gen. Turf looks like carpet. Commentary is boring. No ML. No edit mode. Just cards, cards and more cards.
I've made peace with the fact that eFootball is a mobile game that is ported to consoles.
I made the switch to FC24 last year. It was okayish. FC25 looks promising and looks like I'll like it even more. At least it is a complete game. At least EA put on some effort into their game.
@@sushantbhandari7948 Agree. I'm buying FC 25 when it gets discount. eFootball is a mobile game ported to PC, like Asphalt 9 for example. And it looks so retarded compared to FC 24. The gameplay factor is huge, but it is not enough. What is the point of a good gameplay if you have nothing to play except for online and exhibition mode?
couldn‘t agree more which really is a pitty. Ok, they may not be able to compete with EA from a licensing perspective, but at least they could give us ML and an Editor Mode. And: The real player faces look way better than in EA FC (I play on PC and sometimes have the feeling this player is real 🤣) so I don‘t get why the turf, goal net animation, and the crowd look so poor compared to EA. At least this is something they have in their hands…but when focussing on mobile, collecting cards, icons and bloody menues only (you name it), you have an idea how they prioritize things…it‘s a shame what they did with the former PES!
hey, from my POV of giving eFootball a 2 years hiatus, at least the menus are not glaringly illogical or extremely tedious: they cranked them from horrible all the way up to mediocre :).

@@kipsifoh it's definitely a big improvement with the simulation sliders. I just find simulation sliders make it feel a little flat at times. Not that end to end buzz - it's not the right pace of a real football match, the tactics are much improved though. Players doing what they're actually told to do. They behave much better now. I still find the actual style, such as counter attack, doesn't have enough influence but player instructions do. Definitely better than 24....but not enough so for me to purchase it this year
@@SpoonyPizzas How many games have you played? And make sure you have dynamic CPU on instead of tactical as that makes games so unique. I’ve found many end to end games, open games where i dribble more, etc
@@SpoonyPizzas Other than what @kipsifoh recommended, you can also adjust "run frequency" in the sliders which in the past has mostly impacted how end to end the gameplay becomes. The higher it is the higher the pace of play.

@SpoonyPizzas I do reduce the cpu dribbling which couldn't do before in the sliders yes skill important but they do it so fast on default.
The best sliders for me has been copying simulation settings but knocking pass speed down to 25-30. Makes a big difference as it cuts down on the occurrence of balls zipping a 100km/h at times. Even with that being said, I really really like the simulation gameplay this year. I can definitely understand the argument of "why would you want it to be super realistic and slow" and the gameplay this year has really found the perfect balance of it. The game is slow in tempo but can ramp up, and for once, keepers are actually decent. They catch what theyre supposed to, make great saves, and in general you just don't feel like there's much more that could be done about it. I know mods will eventually come but out of box this was a really nice surprise
I've been waiting for this Spoony.
My verdict. I find it slower than 24 and seems to have a little more controll over the players which i like. Graphically I don't see that much of a difference but the shadows and lighting have improved very well. The crowds are incredible with the chants as usual. Passing is good, very good in fact, probably the best its ever been. I aslo like that you can't just walk through a defence as well. Presentation is on point and the player animations have improved I find. The shape of the teams are also very very good especially the line of defence. I found it very easy tonget away from a defender in FC 24 and it seems much better for the defender this time round, I like that they're much more organised. Out of 10, I'd give this a 7 so far. Lets see what the updates bring
@@LeeCarrick14 I agree about a 7 is right. It's just lacking something.... I love the player weight, passing all good. Think the shooting and goalies need work. Soon as Saka was in, I just knew it was a goal.

I've been a mug to fall for this shite of a game year after year sorry that's it not this year
Seen guys already saying they regretted getting the game after day 1 lol. I warned people that this would happen when they were releasing the trailers but they didn’t wanna listen. Happens every single year but people are always hooked to a new game like it’s a shiny toy. Problem is, the game rarely changes but minor stuff that everyone’s sick and tired of in a week. Around October, there’s always complaint videos and I bet they’ll be stacked this year. It’s just going to be another year of rage and risk of health problems (that’s if you can control your anger and many people can’t as the game is broken and you will lose it at some point) Glad I didn’t succumb to getting this garbage especially after the shambles that was fc24😂.

For me it's the closest to PES it's ever been. You cant just sprint past defenders anymore, you use it more like a burst and use patient build up play like PES.
Obviously still not as good as the older pes gameplay but its a step in the right direction. Hopefully they won't ruin it with future updates but I'm not holding my breath 🙃
it still baffles me how this garbage passes for a football game and how it has been generally accepted as the standard of elite football simulation. This is ought to be Super Nintendo at best.

Try to play efootball now, the new version gameplay is so good, and the player id is amazing some player moves exactly like in real life football (Ronaldinho, Beckham, Haaland, Ronaldo, Messi, etc)

Someone please explain to me why the Arsenal mascot kids are being taken out on to the pitch by the Man City players? That doesn't happen, that's not what fans would want lol
It's probably because whoever designed the child mascot system did it based on some European nations version were they do lead the opposite teams kits out Serie A is an example of this it's annoying but it works in select leagues atleast.
It's an eyesore to watch Spoons. And I don't mean that from an "eFootball / PES or nothing" standpoint, -as I'm someone who has gone to Fifa in the past as my go-to footy game when I tired of Konami's laziness. But this is so very much worse than the Fifa games that did get my time like FIFA18 to 22. The gameplay has completely regressed. Like they can add all the glitz, glam & modes (simulation included) they want, but it still feels and looks like elasticated spastic hawks skating around a beach ball. There's just no weight or physicality to it. Every single kick, pass, shot, cross or turn defies the laws of gravity & physics. If we have to compare, eFootball even as a glorified demo & card rinser, is so superior to this that it ain't even the same sport. Hard pass.
@@Galfano10Gaming definitely more weight on the ball and players in simulation mode. Not tried normal mode TBF but eFootball rn feels so good rn. Definitely needs some tweaking around first touch, needs a touch of responsiveness as it can affect online play
