EA FC will get another $70 of my money for their crap product. Simply due to Konami giving us all the middle finger w/ no Master League...again. Just release it and let the modders, who are keeping your game alive, do what they do.
Yep I am with you - downloaded the game, played a couple of games to see how it feels, and then deleted it and went back to Master League in the last title that had it - I think its 2021 - will stay there until Konami decide to let us have a new master league - if they dont, I will stick to doing what I am doing.
The younger players don't seem to understand the point of offline modes and why we want ML. But they've never known the joys of coming back from the pub with your mate and playing REAL coop and battling to promotion with a crap team. That's where the fun was and memories made.
@@robinbarnes729they have no idea what that feels like. Master League made Winning Eleven/PES worth playing. I never had wifi growing up but I had all the consoles. Capitalism. Every game is headed that way, max profit at all cost instead of best game. Look at everything being online only, look at sports games, or how most games are unfinished at released. How gta5 had years of cut content in favor of online. Bad future for gaming

@@Samin-qi8gz Its also tactics and type of player. Pressing the ball and track back is important so Japanese players are OP. I am div 2 with a free Japanese team.
Of course. 3 forwards with good AMF behind vs 3 defenders, if at least 2 of them are fast players and/or good dribblers will definitely lead to goals for sure. Same in the real life situation. I am enjoying the game for sure now. Haven't played back 3 for as far as I can remember especially in div 1.
They broke the gameplay again as usual with this update. They are gonna slightly tweak it to fix it, then tweak it to sh*t again. I've never seen a game where they tweak the gameplay this often. eFootball is a hallow shell of its past glory days. It's a hot mess right now.
I play 3 in the back and I easily reach div 2, but the 3 defenders MUST have atleast speed stats above 80,bcs this formation help me to gain advantages in numbers in midfield and forward
@@younesyounes-gy8siYep, I was using three at the back for a few months before the update, and I specifically trained fast CBs. They need pace to keep up.
I just got to say that this is the best and only gameplay review that should be taken into consideration. All the other youtubers (99.99%) talk about cards and other stupid stuff.
Are we playing the same game? How are these graphics stunning? I played at max settings, 2k resolution, and the graphics are just decent in the best case scenario. The turf only looks good in cutscenes. During the gameplay, the turf is literally a 2D plane with lower resolution texture. I work in 3D modeling, and I know for a fact that the turf in the gameplay is a 2D plane with a low resolution texture, and that's because the game is a mobile game ported to pc and console, like Asphalt 9...etc, and even when the turf looks good in the cutscenes, it's not even reactive, whether the players slide to celebrate or kick the turf in frustration, the turf stays the same. The menus are horrible, Pes 2015 had better menus, and the celebrations and goalkeeper animations are literally the same since PES 2019 and 2018. Are we smoking crack guys? This is not even an update!
People dont care that they play footbal on a green painted wooden plate and wandering around in menus that is made by a 5 year old. Its all about the endless recycled cards.
11:37 Yeah, this is the best version of eFootball! I don't always have to see my legendary players in full sleeves anymore. The Net physics and Ball Physics are the greatest upgrades. The Ball design and movements are very good compared to the previous versions. That light blue bar appears when smart assist got turned on. Smart assist is very useful coz it helps in activating stunning shots automatically when required. Playing offline is very enjoyable than online coz it feels very realistic. I think Master League will be released soon since they added multiple weather options in Mobile Version. MyLeague is so enjoyable and challenging in legend mode. I like the game. Next Master League, then Cross Play Hoo..! Fifa guys can now start dreaming. Mobile eFootball became almost like a console game now.
Thanks for the review Spoony, might give it a spin. That said, the turf/grass and lighting from gameplay view look absolutely horrid. It's as bad as it was 3 years ago. Not really liking the header physics I've seen in these clips. Looks a little floaty versus PES 2021 where you ball actually bounced off player heads. It's all a moot point without offline modes, because I'm really not interested in online play tbh, esp with full manual controls.
Knight! The legend, who's videos converted me into a PES2021 FUMA addict to this day. I don't know why I wasted my time hoping 2025 version would finally put PES 2021 to bed for me. Its an improvement and a little closer to 2021 but as you noticed its floaty and moot anyway lacking offline modes, which will never come because a small % of original PES players will stick to Master League and not shill out money for pathetic fkn cards etc
@@KnightMD Hey Knight. Good to see you're still around. Yeah, still no comparison to pes 21 days but have to compare it to eFootball era. There's some things I do not miss from pes 21. Like scoring a goal from 30-40 yards on legend was next to impossible. Fun wise, I don't think you'll beat 2018 or 5. Those two were the best. Maybe not realism wise but pure fun
So yeah, after plays for a few days i feel that the gameplay is a pretty good level. Now we just need games modes and content. Master leagues and edit mode first. Its sad that to think that we probably wont get it for at least another year.
I read they might not include it this year. The outlook doesn't look good for next year either. A real shame since Master League was a gem in older versions. Guess they're thinking everyone prefers online gaming. Offline is my preferred choice so I'll stick to my PES 2020 for now.
The lofted through pass has to be fixed imo, it's still not where it needs to be.... In pes 21, the lofted through pass used to be placed further from the receiving player thus allowing the player to run up to it and get the ball, but here it's plated far too close to the receiver even if you put a lot of power into it thus making it way too susceptible to interceptions
Pretty sure the passers intentionally pass it to the defenders. They used to be really good in eFootball v1.0 and then they nerfed them when the mobile version released and they've been useless since then.
The Crowd looks like a bunch of ZOMBIES... I have the same feeling about the finishing.. It feels little weird. Passing does not reflect how much we are pressing.. Need a lot more animations to make the gameplay feel more fluid. Graphic still looks very bad on PS4.. Resolution is so low
@@JgnhB I WISH TO HAVE PS5 BUT NO MONEY MY BROTHER. Stuck with Old Gen, But there are many other old games which looks way better than this efootball. I don't see any reason as to why efootball should look bad on PS4.
9:22 Yep, it's weird that Konami refuse to fix this keeper issue as it ruins immersion and takes away the lovely little dink finishes that used to be in the older games when through on goal.
I played few games with my brothers and we all noticed how it is way much better than the previous update. I hope it will keep improving and yeah I'm still waiting for Master League.
Cool. Now bring on at least some basic offline game mode, like basic league or cups. It can't be that hard. At least that would be some reason to play the game until master league arrives somewhere around 2035.
Unlike EA, Konami is not greedy with handing out decent rewards. First player you'll get is Messi. My first player I got from the free coins was Ronaldinho.
I played fifa ffor the last few years after the efootball release. But im so happy to be back, didnt wanne buy fc anymore. Im having so much more fun now then with fc!
I was always a Pro Evo fan from the Early Days & loved it...However with no Master League I just wont play it...Its not just all about online Play which something Konami seem to have forgotten about...ML was promised as a Taster but still nothing 😢
I've played all PES games since 2004. It was a real constant in my life. Now, I'm still playing PES 2021. Because it's still the best football game. Shame on you Konami. For ruining such a great franchise.
No Master League, no play. Simple as that. I still play my PES 2020. I have never been a fan of online gaming and I have never played against anyone online. I'm an old school couch coop player. That for me will always remain the best way to play.
It's a good game for free2play. I can't complain, especially now aftet they removed contract expire. I love to keep my players forever instead of having to do legacy transfers over and over again
They changed the ball physics noticeably but now kicking power affects passing speed and the pace of crosses a lot more. Same obviously applies to shooting too.
The game play has improved, and is more interesting now. I think I finally will start playing this game regularly again. But based on various videos, seems like are hiccups and bugs with these new changes that needs fixing. Lets see how the game improves with further updates. I am hoping they make this game really good and enjoyable with some further fine tuning.
Ver 4.00 much closer to PES 2021. I like the auto shielding, it’s more about individual players ability. Finesse dribbling addition makes game more balanced, and players can’t just mash sprint and blow by as easily. Sure there are tweaks to be made, defending with player selection is broken atm. I’ve scored more unique goals as it seems not as scripted(i.e deflected ball and crossbars, post and in, etc. I would be happy with edit mode, and ability to use option file would make game sweeter. I’ve come to terms that master league isn’t happening.
Agree its a lot closer to PES 2021 now, which is a dream come true and a def step in the right direction. Still a way to go before I put PES 2021 to bed though.
It's the Passing. The slow "thinking" state of the animation. If they make that more fluid but with errors of timing or being closed down. The rest looks pretty good
Hey @Spoony, I might be late to the party, but I was busy testing the efootball 2025. Even though I agree with you most of the time, I strongly disagree this time. The game is incredibly bad and not competitive IMO. I play full manual online and they increased the assistance on FM. The AI is doing all the defensive work for you, is pressing you non stop *and* the AI intercepts passes even more ridiculous than ever. They move perfectly in any passing lane while your strikers lose 90% of sprint duels to defenders. The defensive auto tackles are way to overpowered and the heavy first touches nullify all the advantage of a perfectly timed pass. Additionally they nerfed dribbles. The re-introduced finesse dribbles are nice but are nowhere as good as the automated tackles. On top of that the GK`s are way to decisive. Sometimes they are like prime Neuer and sometimes they can`t get slow, poorly placed shots. The inconsistency is frustrating. Even more frustrating is the fact that you will have a hard time trying not to concede when you scored first. Don`t let me even start on smart assist... The game is made for mobile users first and that shows. Konami got rid of all skill based gameplay mechanics and turned a competitive game in a dumbed down hull of a football game.
After playing last night I was impressed with the gameplay, the problem is I didn't want to play too much & get into division 1, where if you wanna win, you can only play one way I'd like another game mode asap, oh and more freedom in the passing since it's still very much on rails
This is the best football game simulation ever seen on console and pc about gameplay! This game is amazing! The gameplay of this game is insane! This game is so real and close to the real football game. For me this game needs of still improvement about graphic and then modes of Master league and a cup or league offline with standard teams instead of dream teams.
Duuudeee. Ofc. I'm talking about those playing against the AI/CPU. The goalie will sit on their line, you can run up and tap it in. That shouldn't happen in a game made in 2024.
Pay to win...is literally the game's motto. So disappoint they haven't improved on game modes. Coop mode is just a camped up Pay to win coming up against teams of full legends. No league system for it. Menus are exactly the same. Format for events is exactly the same.
Unfortunately never played PES/ML, but honestly I find myself just playing trial matches as opposed to career mode in eafc when I wanna play a football game because I prefer the gameplay far more.
I wouldn't mind having to pay for PES/Efootball again and have to download Kit/logo packs. EA being able to do anything now that there's monopoly in the football genre of video games.
That was the ultimate fun with actual friends. Online gaming takes away that personal feel to gaming. Some of my best friends are people I grew up gaming on the same tv with multiple controls. That beats online gaming any day of the week.
Authentic modes offline and online needed ASAP. Unbelievable greed from Konami to still not have them after years. It's a shame because eFootball has the best gameplay. But this Dream Team nonsense has killed the viability of the game.
Shield and the dribbling are to OP. And to much FIFA. Fx dribbling is not realistic, because in real life you can not dribble for a minute with out speed and get through 2-1 defenders. There should be a limit on how many or for how long a player can do it. The shield funktion should have 15-30% down on success rate. Still I think the player movement (animation) should be like it was in 0.9. The graphic update is a bit better, but still a disappointment, layout and graphics is still bad. Hopefully we will have a winter update that is much greater. But it seams like only a handful of people are working on the game while the rest are designing cards.
The thing is if Konami wants to make money off of ML I'm sure people including myself would pay for boots, face, kits, stadium, balls, tactics, and performance updates quarterly.
100% agreed!!!! I would pay for this for sure, I certainly won't pay for pathetic cards and such and stick to PES 2021. This now seems like an absolute no brainer. Terreonnhenry for Konami president!
I'm having a lot of fun with eFootball, really for the first time like... ever? It's the closest it has felt to PES19 and those games. Also I wanted to ask you some advice on the Out Wide tactic. Is it viable and how can you get the most out of it?
Konami will make so much more if they included offline modes like Master League and Edit. I would rather play my PES 2020 Disc version than download Efootball.
Same issues plague the game with regards to responsiveness and it isn't a bug, it's by design. When the AI is ready to latch on to a ball, their tracking of the ball is perfect because the ball's trajectory automatically homes in on them. Their first touch is always immaculate, as is their turn and their breakaway pace, doesn't matter if it's a bottom of the table or even a championship team with player containing the lowest stats available. It isn't a bug, the game deliberately nerfs your players and buffs the AI's players.
On gameplay context. I prefer manual shielding than auto shielding. Auto interception still annoying for me. I also feel weather is useless. Remember on PES 2018 where player can get slip when do some maneuver on rainy weather? Last is, where the command run and sub strategy option on the fly like in PES 2021? I'm surprised they can't give sub strategy feature after 3 years. I remember konami creat the first football game that have feature change sub strategy on the fly on Winning Eleven 3.
If Konami thinks they can’t make money with Master League, they should do subscriptions for Master League. Then, they can make a creative team for ML and keep adding updates. Maybe $2-4 per months?
The press needs to be sorted out for me. I know this is only an online issue but it kills me. With the passing being so slow by the time the ball reaches my player I have two players on top of me before I've reviewed it. I know pressing is a part of football but it's knowing when to press and when not to press. In efootball players can press for 90 minutes regardless of their stamina level. If your player has zero stamina in final minutes of the game but as soon as the press button is held down or R1 he sprints towards you like usain bolt. The speed of your press should reduce as your stamina goes down, this would improve online games massively. I'd even go as far to say if you have zero stamina then the press buttons do nothing. This would make players use pressure tactics wisely.
I need more modes. The gameplay is great but there is no content. They bring only new packs but the packs doesnt matter if there is nothing to play. I have to say for 0$ it is a great deal. Konami dont care for its Audience. They do what they want.
This game had three bad years but I think they did something nice and went to wards PES21 They should have improved this game and not build a new one but I hope the master league will come back too, do you know if there is a chance it will come back??
That's the one thing missing from Efootball that's preventing millions of old school gamers from fully commiting to this game. I still play my PES 2020 and I refuse to be swayed by EA. But what amazes me is that they still include Career Mode as on offline mode in their game.
I like the update but you can still bump into the backs of players and simply knock them off balance which makes dribbling quite impossible sometimes. I hope KONAMI don't leave this on on purpose because it makes it easier for bad players with p2w teams to win the ball and win games on the counters that creates.
On point here Spoons. A lot of very welcome Improvements that have been long overdue. We are definitely headed in the right direction. Like yourself, my biggest bugbear now is the rooted GKs. Until they amend that, I'll be playing online only, which is a shame because I miss MyLeague tbh, but having the joy zapped out of a goal by the GKs letting me infiltrate their 6 yard box is a game breaker unfortunately. That said, I'm enjoying online & actually getting a PES2018 Beta feel (don't mention our Lord 🤣). Cheers for the shout out, I got a chuckle from that 😂 Loving the nets and the visual improvement they made to the design & threading, was much needed. Anyway, let's hope they add to this version going forward & don't revert & ruin things 🤞🏻⚽
Konami gone completely off the rails. I still play my PES 2020 disc version. I'm not big on online gaming and Master League was the most joyous part of playing PES. They need to bring back offline mode and edit mode.
Exactly. Even EA offers career mode and edit mode. Master League and Edit Mode made ISS/Winning Eleven/PES so much fun to play. Younger players will never understand the joys of editing players, teams, formations, tactics and strategies. To train youth talent and watch them grow. That's what Konami used to offer. Now it's all watered down and generic. Completely bereft of satisfaction.
Pro:usual PES gameplay;excellent content-quality-price ratio(now that they have finally put back exhibition mode, whereas before this ratio was negative). Cons:commentary too repetitive and recycled from several PES;quite difficult to head(let alone score with a head);personally unbalanced difficulty(champion comes quite easily and superstar quite difficult);too many goals scored and conceded(like FIFA/FC);I don't understand why they removed the manual ball protection with the appropriate button(I don't like that it protects the ball automatically)and the possibility of moving to try to anticipate the opponent to hit the header;ugly, cumbersome, less realistic tackles,in which the players they collide going one way and the other;I notice lower quality in many of the players' movements;it seems to me that there is enough script in favor of the CPU;refereeing and goalkeeping can be improved. In conclusion,Efootball is now not bad(even more so with the exhibition mode, with all the difficulty levels, with all the half times, with all the teams, they have finally reintroduced all this),but it has even more historical defects than the series and in some aspects it is backwards compared to the last chapters of the series.
Great review Spoony! I think I prefer the previous version just before this one slightly for the game player and the tactical response. Like you, I think the formation is broken for the current version and my players do a walk about or disregard tactical framework several times during a game, costing me goals or a chance attempted. In the previous version this wasn’t the case. I use a 442 diamond, and the two midfield shuttlers on the left and right are instructed to join attacks. In the previous version they did this with a balance of knowing when to fall back to help their fullbacks or create volume in the middle of the park when defending. In this current version they do neither well. I hope this is something Konami can fix. I’m also not a fan of finesse dribbling. I prefer the old system using a combo of the special controls button and the left sticks. Spoony pls could you do a tutorial on dribbling? I remember your tutorials on the Most Effective Skill several years ago - they were super helpful and opened up the game for me. That said, the graphics are much improved in the current version which is great. Being a full time offline player, it’s great to have a bigger pool of teams to choose in exhibition mode. Does anyone know the best picture settings for a Rog Ally? I play efootball on PS5 and on PC. But for some reason I feel that the PC version is better and the AI is slightly better optimized and gives a better challenge. Maybe it’s just me!
Yup. Konami disrespecting old school gamers by not including offline modes like edit option and master League. EA still includes Career Mode and they appeal to both young and old gamers alike.
I tried and on pc and I even modded it to add kits which help and was pleasantly surprised but it’s no EAFC killer because no game modes outside of their card game.
Great review! And i can safely say that i am not spending on this game this year because they haven't corrected any of the problems that irritated me throughout last year! Konomi will only butcher it with every update they do which is a pattern of the bull shitery they like to perform which is an insult to us that do spend.
Yes, great review Spoony, I wish they added a manual button for passing instead of smart assist , but nevertheless, I've found myself enjoying the game like I didn't for a very long time. Fingers crossed it's going to get better, not worse from now on. Master league is the only thing that I really miss and edit mode. I would rather pay 100 quids for that than some booster op players so I can beat some kids online. Regarding player positioning that u mentioned, I have an impression that it does not happen when u play qc or some other style except possession. Cheers m8
Good review! I pretty much agree with everything except finesse dribbling, I find it way too OP as it is and I see everybody (including myself) abusing it, making the player movements look often like silly dance moves. PES had a good and much more subtle finesse dribbling system, with the same input as the special movements.
As for comment that attacking players need more muscle in this version. I think they over done it. Someone like Mbappe is easily outmuscled, but he does not have advantage in speed, which is weird. Also suspectable to pressing. I mean the guy is a speed monster, should outrun and pressing him should be quite dangerous.
Great and informative vid thx, would be great if you creat a tutorial specifically for manual player selection and pressuring opponent, appreciated by many users 😊
I'm still playing pes 2021 season update with the latest option file from pes world for the 2024/25 season. I only play pes amongst friends. We play each other and have leagues but this new e football is so behind it doesn't allow you to pick any team. Look how long it's been out for and they still haven't sorted this out .
Avg players don’t even dare to dribble in this game. Most of them don’t feel uncomfortable when receiving the ball. How can it be the best football game. Don’t get me wrong, eafc is corrupted, I wish Konami could bring some competition here. But as a football game player who play both games, I really think efootball has a long way to go
Hey spoony or anyone else, i play efootball on pc but my graphics still look quite bad especially compared to spoonys gameplay on pc, does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?
How long has it been now? 4 years!? This game will NEVER be good enough to take serious.. Even with Master League! It's not just RIP PES but RIP Konami too..
As much as this is an improvement, I still think the goal variety is massively floored which takes away the wow factor of scoring goals. When I look at people's reviews and the types of goals they score, they follow the old deserved route of well worked, opening up the play through to the goal. But where are the screamers, the ones where a player scoops it to another player from outside the box and volleying it into corner, the accidental cross which deflected off the defender over the goalkeeper into the net, the headed clearance which you held L2 and rocketed through low into the bottom corner? This game seems seriuslyes limited to scoring the same type of goals based on its limitations with the mobile game. I also hoped the game graphically(in play) would have massively improved, it only looks brilliant in the replays or people zooming in, but when it comes to playing the game all of those incremental details just disappear, that's the majority of the time you are playing the game where you want to see the eye candy, the crowd still to this day looks like a copy and paste 480p of a ps2 game. Whilst everyone will say you should know by now it's a work in progress(the UK roadworks equivalent of taking 10 times longer than any other country), there wow factor for me has just completely gone because of the limitations of scoring those goals you see on youtube replays that can't be replicated on this game.
I totally agree, you can score those but even scoring from 20-30 yards...it feels flat. I don't know what it is but goals are meh or amazing. Pretty sure one of the goals in this review was deflected but the RNG from last update was better in terms of random moments around the goal.
@SpoonyPizzas the screamers just look straight, plenty of swerve can be achieved on crossing or finesse, but power shots don't react to spin or the way it's hit and just looks unnatural like you are kicking the ball and watching it through a zipwire. Again referring to old pes there was no better feeling hitting those goals and seeing the ball dip and swerve into the net that no other game franchise has replicated better. I don't think anyone can say unless their whole development team has changed they don't know what these moments in front of goal feel like creating goals like that because once upon a time they were the creators of it.
Great update so far, but my first impression right off the bat, was that keepers let to many easy balls in. For example, i had matches online where i had 3 or shots against which ended all inside the net
Hey Spoony, nice one!!! I ain't feeling the gameplay anymore man,its same as last update...have you noticed when your player goes to mark the AI player he tends to slow down in his pace until the AI player makes a pass then your player pickups on its initial pace and its not the same vice versa...
what's the exact unlocked settings you are talking about? I seen nothing extra compared to previous version. I don't see any extra graphic fidelity improved on PC. Even worse, I saw some clips on instagram with new hair physics, but I they don't seem included in the PC version.
nice review. the left and right analog stick command for finesse dribbling? before it was just slightly moving left stick for drag backs and single touches. now i have to press a.button. why do you think thats better?
For me the best experience is to play the game full manual. Then it is skill based and very satisfying. EA is only arcade and a cash cow. I know a lot of FC division 1 players who use scripts and the so called pros, just push the buttons in the exact time and abuse the mechanics of the game. No understanding of real football nor they ever played football in real life. EFootball in full manual is a simulation.
I really miss the pes era, master league ,and all the crazy things u could do, I remember pes in the early 2000s , the gameplay and graphics was so much better than fifa, Idk what happened with this game the last decade, Its so sad the game is even free now. I'm not even a hater but they lost against Fifa and even try to copy with their own "FUT" buying and collecting player/cards. I think the peak of football games was around 2016. Now its every year the same gameplay animations but pes got only worse.
Exactly. I'll stick to my PES 2020. I kill Master League and never get bored. All Konami has to do is bring back Master League mode with roster updates when seasons start.
Very well put together review. Your video and commentary aligns brilliantly. ❤ I agree that the update is realistic and also enjoyable to play. However, the manual passing doesn’t feel as good nor is it as precise as you want. Maybe it’s the new passing animations. I’m not sure you mentioned the new animations.
The framerate in the cutscenes on ps5 and series x are even more choppy than 2024. Shame as the series x was quite smooth before but in this version they are the worst they have ever been. Clearly Konami have some optimisation to do. Gameplay is mostly 60fps but ive noticed a stutter when scoring and on other occasions
Millions of old school gamers have been begging for this for 3 yrs. Even EA has kept it's offline modes and their game targets every age group. Why can't Konami do the same?
If Master League was added this game would be amazing. I love the gameplay
Why would Konami add master league ? They killed of PES they will add a league but the AI needs way more work, goalkeepers and passing is awful.

There's league to play in the game.
Exactly. I played Efootball for 1 week after it dropped and never touched it again. Went back to PES 21.
Whatever you do, don't play 3 at the back cause one clearance or spamming of through balls will lead to a gaol

The turf really looks horrible.
There are no shadows under the players as well, makes it look like they're floating...on the horrible turf.
spot on
People dont care that they play footbal on a green painted wooden plate and wandering around in menus that is made by a 5 year old. Its all about the endless recycled cards.
God bless You sir. you were absolutely spot on!
Mobile eFootball became almost like a console game now.
finally the best version by now, now we need master league and edit mode
@@LDNCallout yeah buddy us FUMA players have no place in Konami's plan when it comes to online play, unfortunately
And also your player freezes before making the run which gives time for a defender to steal it
Pretty sure the passers intentionally pass it to the defenders. They used to be really good in eFootball v1.0 and then they nerfed them when the mobile version released and they've been useless since then.
@@Godmode_ON24 I just use early cross it’s better than a through lofted pass but it only passes in the middle

Thanks for highlighting player selection. It’s the biggest problem as you lose control of the whole game if they can’t get it right
I played few games with my brothers and we all noticed how it is way much better than the previous update. I hope it will keep improving and yeah I'm still waiting for Master League.
Cool. Now bring on at least some basic offline game mode, like basic league or cups. It can't be that hard. At least that would be some reason to play the game until master league arrives somewhere around 2035.

Haha good luck bro! I'll be working on getting my son to play...
The Nice thing about efoot .
Is that player is actully playing.
Not a DDA algo , to tilt pitches.
Myleague has improved a lot and the gameplay is gorgeous. Graphics have also been improved a lot.
My league that's only 1 season? What is this 2001? Only 1 season!
It's the Passing. The slow "thinking" state of the animation. If they make that more fluid but with errors of timing or being closed down. The rest looks pretty good
Hey @Spoony,
I might be late to the party, but I was busy testing the efootball 2025.
After playing last night I was impressed with the gameplay, the problem is I didn't want to play too much & get into division 1, where if you wanna win, you can only play one way
I'd like another game mode asap, oh and more freedom in the passing since it's still very much on rails
Defenders Cant move freely and HALF DRIBBLING of NEYMAR from PES 2021 is not possible😢😢😢
A couple of patches I reckon this will be the best football game since PES 6
Lmao 😂, nice joke bro 🤣.
You can call your goalkeeper to come out off the line with triangle on ps5 when defending. Helped me numerous times.
Duuudeee. Ofc. I'm talking about those playing against the AI/CPU. The goalie will sit on their line, you can run up and tap it in. That shouldn't happen in a game made in 2024.
I'd love a football game where I can play as the team I love in a league. Nobody wants to make that - it's too crazy!
Pay to win...is literally the game's motto. So disappoint they haven't improved on game modes. Coop mode is just a camped up Pay to win coming up against teams of full legends. No league system for it. Menus are exactly the same. Format for events is exactly the same.
i hope konami can take what they managed so far with efootball and add all the PES modes and come back with a priced full game
Unfortunately never played PES/ML, but honestly I find myself just playing trial matches as opposed to career mode in eafc when I wanna play a football game because I prefer the gameplay far more.
@@omarbahrour fair shout and totally agree tbh.

Is it viable and how can you get the most out of it?
has konami given us any update on master league?
Add Master League and Tournament mode and add a good SDK for modding and let the gods of mods do their work.
Konami will make so much more if they included offline modes like Master League and Edit. I would rather play my PES 2020 Disc version than download Efootball.
I do think the physicality is much improved
@@gamerparuhwaktu totally agree with your comment. Sadly I have to compare to eFootball otherwise the new players won't understand. 2018, what a game
Plz make a guide on Luis Enrique Barcelona 2015 tactics
I love love love how the wingers can escape slower defenders
If Konami thinks they can’t make money with Master League, they should do subscriptions for Master League. Then, they can make a creative team for ML and keep adding updates. Maybe $2-4 per months?
Konami needs to go back to what made Winning Eleven/PES so great back in early 2000s and 2010s.
This game had three bad years but I think they did something nice and went to wards PES21
They should have improved this game and not build a new one but I hope the
master league will come back too, do you know if there is a chance it will come back??
That's the one thing missing from Efootball that's preventing millions of old school gamers from fully commiting to this game. I still play my PES 2020 and I refuse to be swayed by EA. But what amazes me is that they still include Career Mode as on offline mode in their game.
No one found it weird that the only shadow on the field is of the ball?
I am still waiting for something to dethrone my fully modded PES2021. Nothing has come close so far.
Wasn't the master league meant to be available, I don't know 3 years ago 😂
Konami gone completely off the rails. I still play my PES 2020 disc version. I'm not big on online gaming and Master League was the most joyous part of playing PES. They need to bring back offline mode and edit mode.
If it dies not have Master League/career mode it will never ve a Ea FC killer
I'll make a tutorial on finesse dribbliny
Glad to hear its getting better but no master league means nothing to do.
Yup. Konami disrespecting old school gamers by not including offline modes like edit option and master League. EA still includes Career Mode and they appeal to both young and old gamers alike.
Ive never played online. Same with FIFA. So only play ML and Career mode. Haven't touched PES for years and can't see me playing it anytime soon.
Same with me. After having discovered Winning Eleven in the early 2000s I never played Fifa again. Best part of the game was Master League.
What is this compares with pes2021?
Yes, great review Spoony, I wish they added a manual button for passing instead of smart assist , but nevertheless, I've found myself enjoying the game like I didn't for a very long time. Fingers crossed it's going to get better, not worse from now on. Master league is the only thing that I really miss and edit mode. I would rather pay 100 quids for that than some booster op players so I can beat some kids online. Regarding player positioning that u mentioned, I have an impression that it does not happen when u play qc or some other style except possession. Cheers m8
How I missed a more optimistic Spoony. It’s a good sign. Hopefully now Konami star building future updates on this version.
Good review! I pretty much agree with everything except finesse dribbling, I find it way too OP as it is and I see everybody (including myself) abusing it, making the player movements look often like silly dance moves. PES had a good and much more subtle finesse dribbling system, with the same input as the special movements.
@@signeponge I agree, online it's daft but it'll be nerfed spon
As for comment that attacking players need more muscle in this version. I think they over done it. Someone like Mbappe is easily outmuscled, but he does not have advantage in speed, which is weird. Also suspectable to pressing. I mean the guy is a speed monster, should outrun and pressing him should be quite dangerous.
@@gyts11 agreed, I take Mbappe has fallen down the pecking order

A more than decent upgrade I wud say.... that nimble touch is still missing.. but better .....Thanks Spoony !
I can't get over the stun players have when winning and losing the ball. Its infuriating.
Far less awkward collisions with players.....bruv just falls over.
what's the exact unlocked settings you are talking about?
I seen nothing extra compared to previous version.
I don't see any extra graphic fidelity improved on PC. Even worse, I saw some clips on instagram with new hair physics, but I they don't seem included in the PC version.
Could you make a video on how you improved the graphics on your pc for this game. Also please share your camera settings. Than you very much
nice review. the left and right analog stick command for finesse dribbling? before it was just slightly moving left stick for drag backs and single touches. now i have to press a.button. why do you think thats better?
For me the best experience is to play the game full manual. Then it is skill based and very satisfying. EA is only arcade and a cash cow. I know a lot of FC division 1 players who use scripts and the so called pros, just push the buttons in the exact time and abuse the mechanics of the game. No understanding of real football nor they ever played football in real life. EFootball in full manual is a simulation.
you forgot to mention the referee not calling fouls. All these issues and be fixed within a day or two, but will probably takes 2-3 years for konami
Well, I did mention they fixed the shoulder barge abuse
At least it won't take 2 decades like with EA Sports who are still failing to give us a great on pitch experience
@@seanjagdeo8005 Can’t disagree with that! Master league was so unique, I don’t think we will have something before GTA 6 💀💀
Very well put together review. Your video and commentary aligns brilliantly. ❤
I agree that the update is realistic and also enjoyable to play. However, the manual passing doesn’t feel as good nor is it as precise as you want. Maybe it’s the new passing animations. I’m not sure you mentioned the new animations.
Thanks dude, takes ages to put together
its a lot better, just wish the ai pressure would be reduced a bit
The framerate in the cutscenes on ps5 and series x are even more choppy than 2024. Shame as the series x was quite smooth before but in this version they are the worst they have ever been. Clearly Konami have some optimisation to do. Gameplay is mostly 60fps but ive noticed a stutter when scoring and on other occasions
I love the gameplay, best football game I play ever. OFFLINE MODES PLEASE!!!
absolutely yes!i agree totally with you.
Millions of old school gamers have been begging for this for 3 yrs. Even EA has kept it's offline modes and their game targets every age group. Why can't Konami do the same?
I haven't played in a few years, might give it a go. Have they got the new United kits in the game?
the game still looks like an updated Pes 2021 from the animations to the graphics
