- This video is me using the reflex bag to get a good workout in. The reflex bag is 89 dollars but worth every penny. Hopefully everyone enjoys the video give me a thumbs up and subscribe.
I used to think i could throw a punch then i got this reflex bag and quickly learned how to really throw a punch

This bag was perfect for teaching new skills, I used this bag just for timing and speed but ended up mastering slips and changing angles as a bonus!

Into the bar a little but then again you guys might just be some power houses of men. As for me I’m skinny strong legs and long reach I’m all about volume of my punches and just set a power one in the mix ever once and again. Any advice would be appreciated I’m not a billy bad ass keyboard warrior or anything just a guy who had no dad or any male role models so I’ve had to always train myself.
If you turn the bag down to its lowest level and put it on a table or stable chair it gets real nice speed

Me too, but mine snapped when my niece decided to test how good the spring is 😂 luckily it still screws in and works fine
I have one of these and I learned that if u move in closer and throw lighter punches the bag will come back to you a little quicker
Chris Mo also make it slightly shorter, chest rather than head area and it will come back much quicker

MaxMMA has an adjustable speed one that works great. Just need like a 30 or 40 lb weight and fill it with sand
Theres slots on the sides to make it so it doesnt move as easily

Just got one today for my bday. I've put on some weight, but I know from experience workouts like these will get you shredded in no time. Killer cardio workout

@@thebigtom8101 the plastic piece that connects the pole to the grounding unit has completely smoothed out i.e no threads. Haven't been able to use it for a while now because of that

I purchased both the medium ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfh2XUOHWYHKQYOvSq2gZ6PyCmVkTFGWz and small speed bags from Meister. I'm very glad I got both as the workout is quite different from the two. The small is fantastic for getting your speed built up once familiar with your striking. The medium bag provides a considerable amount more resistance building more strength in your punches. I highly recommend both sizes.Some people have expressed concern over the latex bladder leaking down more frequently than the traditional rubber. I have not found this to be an issue at all.
Anybody who says this bag is "too slow" to actually help, clearly don't understand what "muscle memory" is. This WILL help and a good workout in the process.

And not the best gloves boxing gloves are better for bags, more protection for you wrists and fists
Yo if your a southpaw, make sure your right leg as your lead leg. If your orthodox keep your left leg as the lead leg. That'll help fix your footwork and your punches.

lol you can adjust it but the tallest is 5’3 but you can make it shorter

I got this one, it’s mad slow. It’s faster at lowest height. Decent if you have nothing else available. Everything else is sold out right now with this lockdown.

I had one of those before. How do the bolts hold up in that bag that holds the bag on the pole. I'm wanting to get another one with leg disability I can't hit heavy bag with walker but reflex bag but right hand sheared the bolt off the top That's why I was asking about bots.dont hit that thing to hard I warped the pole on last one and sheared the bolt half into but I loved it and if reviews are good plan on getting g another one. Just bought one today at academy for 69 bucks and I'm liking it so far...but like everybody been saying it's not meant to get hit hard...still fun reflex bag...

Most people dont know this and trash on this bag for it being slow but theres slots on the side to reduce the springyness and make it faster

Yeah my buddy got this for his gym and I thought I was tripping with how slow it was. But then I just searched for the bags the pros use, and the spring is a lot higher up.

@@thomasal2487 in theory you could remove and flip the stem so the spring is at the top. Might need some jerryrigging but it could be done.

Ahh, so this is also one way of using it, I usually just throw a 1,2 or a light shove then apply head movement, moving around it as it sways back and forth

When you drop the bar down, you can punch it faster.
N also try 4 mims of general punches 20 seconds of verrosity and 1 min of rest for 3 5 7 10 13 sets respectively

Look up title boxing reflex bag. It's the one that Ryan Garcia uses... I believe! They're pretty costly tho. Last I've heard the Everlast one is $100 and the title one is $300

Put that thing on more speed. Get that beast goin. I put a 40 lb weight on top of mine then put bar on. Then sand. More weight means you can let lose

If you put the bag at your chest height and move closer to it it's not such a waste of money your supposed to use it for timing and reflexes

That bags too slow i need something faster i can easily do an hour- 2 hours straight on the bag throwing hard and using footwork and head movement. I need they cobra bag.

Do not get this bag it sucks, the spring is at the bottom and that ruins it, I wound up breaking the spring out of the thing that you screw in, so I rigged it and took duck tape and taped the bottom around the springs and screwed it back it so it held again, then I somehow broke the bag ball. If you want a good reflex bag, go with The Ringside Cobra reflex bag, also theres this one called FierceFlex or something. Ryan Garcia made it or uses it or something but, it's like $410 and the Ringside one is about $220
