- Here's my review of the MaxxMMA Adjustable Freestanding Reflex Bag. Great piece of equipment, especially for beginners who want to focus on improving their coordination, reflexes and timing. Because it's adjustable its also a great and fun way for kids to stay active and work on their boxing skills. I highly recommend this product.

If you put it on a wall or like 50cm away from a wall it will come back really quick if you hit hard enough :) Its really fun
So does it work the same as the bag with the spring in the middle?

aye this vid may have been 7 years ago but out of all the vids i've watched on reflex bags, yours is the best in my point of view. The way you explained everything just really helped me and now imma actually be able to practice everything :) (subbed)

This is a rgeat tool to excersise your BODY MOVEMENT for a fight. Moving away with your head only; moving back from it with your whole body; moving sideways when it "attacks", etc
U can easily do a 1-2 if ur quick enough I’ve done it plenty of times
Note that some of the other models of Cobra Bags have the spring higher up on the pole which speeds up the action.
I have the everlast one and it was cool in begining but once I really got into it it was slow and I could not do as much as I wanted on it, but it is definely fun but if you want a good one look for one with the spring in the middle so it moves quicker and helps your timing instead of hitting it then stalling and waiting to move cause in real life it's going to be much faster and you can't be hesitant or you could get knocked out so this is my opinion and I use it everyday
Fill the base first with sand, then fill with water for the extra weight. Your welcome👍😊

The one that Ryan Garcia uses has spring in the center of the beam so it will return faster 👍 yours the spring is at the base so it swings further.

The bag i got has a tension adjustment so if it real tight the bag screams back at you 💥

I've never done combat sports gf got me one for Christmas and ive used it nearly daily since great exercise and good fun.
Sand weighs more and doesn't slosh around in the base. We've got one of these filled with sand at my gym and it never tips
I got a similar one.. I air box then finish the combo with a head kick. Its good if you live in a condo and to cold to go outside and use the heavy bag.

You can buy you need the cobra stand up reflex bag, it has a spring in the middle so it moves quicker and better more like a torso
Double end bags don’t attach to walls professor. I think you meant ceilings and floors. Good video and good form

honestly first day i didnt wear gloves and now all my fingers have scars on them
@@ItzSlashyyy its better to do it without gloves because your hands are getting more tough and ready to fight and youre gonna experience less pain

Does a reflex bag work up a sweat? I’d like one for my home gym if it is good.
Absolutely dude, it keeps you moving, punch it for a good 15 mins straight and you'll break a sweat
sand is better than water plus if you live on the second plus floor it will make less noise

To make the base heavier, one can instead use wet sand.
Doing theses types of workouts including punching a heavy bag will this increase muscle depth and weight loss because of the cardio

its bettter with sand, the one i have leaked like crazy! made a big mess. for extra weight, i would recommend getting one of those "umbrella base, sand bags". the one i bought holds up to 85lb of sand.

I purchased both the medium ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfh2XUOHWYHKQYOvSq2gZ6PyCmVkTFGWz and small speed bags from Meister. I'm very glad I got both as the workout is quite different from the two. The small is fantastic for getting your speed built up once familiar with your striking. The medium bag provides a considerable amount more resistance building more strength in your punches. I highly recommend both sizes.Some people have expressed concern over the latex bladder leaking down more frequently than the traditional rubber. I have not found this to be an issue at all.
Just a word to the wise. Cheaply made. I destroyed mine in one week.

Well tell bad for your neighbors because its covid lockdown so screw going to the gym. Also this is a great way to learn how to dance around with your own pacing so you can learn combos that require sliping thru your opponent's throws not get racked. So its a win-win for everyone.
