If you're installing a new unformatted SSD and you plug in the SATA cable into the blue socket on the motherboard, you will not be able to startup the computer since it's looking for a bootable disk drive. If this is the case, plug in the SSD SATA cable into the black socket, then you can startup Windows and format the new SSD.
No, because the power supply haven't enough power for that. Instead, you should use any "low profile" graphic card, a GTX 1050 ti (low profile version) or a GT 1030 should work. I have the same PC and I installed a GT 1030 GDDR5 low profile and works well :)
If you have the Microtower like myself then you don't need to use low profile graphics cards. The best NVIDIA card to use with a weak power supply would be the GTX 1650 GDDR6. But if it's the SFF, then I think you may be restricted to the GTX 1050 TI low profile, unless you can find a low profile version of the GTX 1650.
It does. But it is receommended that u get a 3.5 inch adapter. The 250 GIG WD HDD that HP Provides is 3.5 inch. A 2.5 Inch will work perfectly fine, but it will be lose and will probably be moving around in the computer as it is too small for the 3.5 inch holding bracket.
I believe it is due to the first slot, SATA 0, allowing for faster transfer speeds as opposed to the other SATA slots, so it takes better advantage of the SSDs capabilities
Dude thank you so much ive been having trouble. Incredible tutorial love the video.❤

Price??
hi, do I have to buy these cables or will they be inside my HP pc ?
sata cable is what u need check what ssd yours is like sata 3 or something
If you buy a 3.5" mount/tray for your SSD (instead of cable tying it), a lot of those come with the correct SATA cable you need.
I have same CPU
Can i use NVIDIA GT 1060 ?

Does Hp 6300 Supported 2.5

Cual es la referencia de la fuente de poder gracias
Why did you replaced HDD cable to another slot?
I believe it is due to the first slot, SATA 0, allowing for faster transfer speeds as opposed to the other SATA slots, so it takes better advantage of the SSDs capabilities
HP site (6300 pro sff specs) says the maximum ssd supported is 240gb. Can I use a 480gb ssd like this with no problems?
just get a Kingston A400 240 GB ssd
@goog le i bought a 240gb ssd(PNY CS900) and it works perfectly, but thanks for the suggestions
In this video, he used ssd goodram cx400 512gb.
so i did that and followed all the steps and when i turned my pc on the fan really started to get loud and spin like crazy
Same to me, dont know why yet
