Hi, Hope it help, If you have 4gb ram buy another 4gb stick, if you have 8 already,its fine. You can change the processor for an i7 3370, but the i5 still good for fortnite and e-sports, tell me what games you will play, and Finally you should add a gtx 1050 or gtx 1050ti but PAY ATTENTION XD if ypu pc is thin like the one on the video you need to buy the low profile one, that is smaller, but if your pc is bigger and fat xd you should buy the normal one

yes unless you want your cpu to reach more than 100 degrees celsius lol, it lets the heat of the cpu go to the heatsink and the heatsink dissipates the heat away (also im only 2 years late)

Samuel Paler you MIGHT run into some trouble with the difference in USB ports. IMO, being there are certain models of i7 CPU’s that are compatible with our motherboard, I’d recommend sticking with it, and letting the cpu and video card do the heavy lifting, provided you already upgraded your ram. And yes, same awful cpu 👍
Samuel Paler After researching it further, a reference I was reading on the upgrade to an i7, they put separate motherboards in the 6000 series ssf hp’s that we have. Our’s are indeed different, as are every other 6000!series out there. It keeps getting harder to find accurate info on this damn thing. All depends on what game your trying to run.. I'm building one of these for me to play world of warships, should be more than capable to run maxed out settings. My son plays fortnite as well which isn't a very demanding game.

You can, however it would be better to go with a 3470 or 3770 instead of the K variant as you will not be able to overclock on this mainboard. If you already HAVE the K variants then it's no big deal but don't spend extra for them as you can't take advantage of them fully.

On HP Systems you typically press F10 for the BIOS. An just press F10 repeatedly from the beginning.

I can answer your question with YES, because I have a "HP compaq pro 6300 sff" with an i5-2400 (but reading this comment confirms to me that I could upgrade the CPU in the future to 3rd gen i5 or i7 if I need to)

whenever i upgrade my cpu from i5 3470 to i7 3770, i cant boot the pc with my gtx 1050 lp on, it only works if the gpu isnt connected or drivers not installed, but with the i5 it works perfectly is there any help please

You can, however it would be better to go with a 3470 or 3770 instead of the K variant as you will not be able to overclock on this mainboard. If you already HAVE the K variants then it's no big deal but don't spend extra for them as you can't take advantage of them fully.
