I am from Nepal and I do a freelancing job, My previous payment was automatically withdrawn by the Upwork payment system but now Upwork charge a lot of commission so I asked the client to pay outside the app and they agreed, they asked me to create the wise account, now what shall I do to get that money directly to my bank account? Do I even need to create the wise account or they can just directly wire the money to my local country bank?
Hello there. Since you're doing a freelancing job, you'll need a business Wise account instead of a personal one. This is because, you aren't allowed to do business transactions on a personal account. It's against our terms of use. Unfortunately, we don't offer business accounts in Nepal yet 😟
What if I wanna open an account with my new Zealand details but am not in New Zealand currently is that possible?
Hey, Grays! If your main residential address is based in New Zealand, and you have a proof of address to show that - You'll be able to open your account from another location.
