It would be nice to have a Wise family account where you can have a shared budget, goals, and more, with individualized debit cards. Additionally, you could limit spending on specific cards. I know that Wise makes money by charging transfer/conversion fees, but most of my family members live in the Philippines, and I work in a different country, sending them money every month for financial support. And there are a lot of families like us.
Your feedback is valuable to us, Manuel. We continue working to make our product better and more accessible to everyone, so stay tuned to our official channels for updates 💚
As a brand identity designer I appreciate what you did with the rebrand so clear simple and pretty. I do have a question related to the video topic, If I'm a freelancer without a formal business, what type of account is recommended for receiving international payments since the business account require business details?
Hello there. Thanks for the kind words, we appreciate it 😊 Our business account is designed for many businesses and one of them, is freelancing. Since freelancing is a business, you should open a business account with us. You can learn more about if your business can use Wise here: wi.se/allowedbusinesses Be sure to check how to open a business account here: wi.se/getabusinessaccount If you have any questions, you can send us a private message on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter (X), you can also give us a call or email us here: wi.se/contactus
Same question to @wise I do freelance work too but I don't have a registered company for the work hence I have no company details to fill in the Wise Business' registration. What should I do? Thanks for advising.

Firstly, Can i open a business account without getting a personal or business website? Secondly, is it possible for foreigners resident in Italy to have any of the Wise account (business or personal)? Thirdly, how can i get my Wise bank account details (Account number, ect)? Fourthly, how can connect a Wise account to a Stripe account in order to transfer funds from Stripe to Wise account?? Thank you so much Sir/ Madam. Hope you will will understand my questions.
Hey, Ob. You can open a business account without a business or personal website. You can learn more about how we verify your business here: wi.se/verifyyourbusiness Both personal and business accounts are available in Italy. You can still create an account with us, even if you're a foreigner. Balances, also known as bank details, are available in these locations: wi.se/balanceavailability. If you're eligible, you'll simply need to add 20 GBP (or equivalent) and verify your personal account. As for business account, balances are available after you've made a one-time feature charge. We explain more at: wi.se/getbankdetails After you've activated your account details, you can link them to Stripe in order to receive money. Here are the steps: wi.se/moneyfromstripetowise Hope these answer your questions 🙂
Hello, when is our country Madagascar will be listed so we as Online Marketer can create a business account ???? Thank you, really need it for my OLSP system affiliate system.
Hey, Jocelyn. While our business accounts aren't available in Madagascar, we're always working to expand it to more locations. We don't have an exact timeframe for this, but if anything changes, we'll be sure to announce it 😊
@@Wise OK thank you, really appreciate if you could working in here, a big solution for us because we had a big problem for SSN with Paypal, Wishing a wonderful day !!!
Hello wise, nice tips here. I do have one question...I live in a country where balances are not available, but wise can send the money I get from abroad directly into my local bank account(you guys confirmed this on social media :)) But in order to do this, do I have to have a wise account? Or is it enough that only the sender have wise? And if I possess a unpaid business account, is having that free account going to ease up the process for me? Thank you in advance!
Hey, there. In order to receive money to your local bank account, you don't have to create a Wise account. Only the sender needs to have an account with us. Can you share with us where are you located? If you have a business account, and balances are available there, then you can directly receive money to your account. Just note that you'll have to verify your account and complete the payment in order to activate account details. Feel free to drop us a PM on Twitter/X, Instagram or Facebook. We'll be able to have a closer look at your account and advise further 🙂
@@Wise thank you for the quick reply! Actually I figured I can't setup a business account, the one I have is a personal account, and I'm from Sri Lanka...
Hi, there! It's possible to sync contacts to find people on Wise and pay them only through their contact info. However, you can’t use this features to send to business accounts, at the moment. We don't have a timeframe for this, but our team is always working on making features available to as many customers as possible. An alternative for this is having people sending money using your email: wi.se/money2email - this way, you'll receive an email requesting your bank details to finish the transfer.
Hello, there. Yes, it's possible 🙂 Just check here if we offer Wise balances in your country: wi.se/balanceavailability After that, there are several ways you can receive money from others to your Wise account. The available options depend on your address, currency and whether you’re using a personal or business account. Please check more details here: wi.se/howtoreceivemoney Feel free to send us a private message on our other social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter) if you have any other questions - we'll be happy to help.
I dont understand 1 aspect of these business cards online. I register my company, I receive money from clients, with different currencies on my Business Wise card. However, how can I organise all the company bills? How Cani pay myself the salary I set I on my own contract? I still have to transfer the money from Wise (business) into my Local Bank Account. Also, since Wise is not responsible for saving your money if you have more than £85K, then its quite risky if you want to scale with large numbers in profit (6/7 figures) holding in this online account.
Hi there. We understand your concern. You can connect Wise to an accounting software such as QuickBooks and start saving time on admin. Bill payments will be synced, matched, and categorized. Also, with Multi-user Access (MUA) it’s possible to allow team members to carry out specific tasks and have different levels of access to your Wise business account, which is connected to your Wise business card. We do offer personal accounts that you can easily move money between your business and personal accounts, or you can choose to send money to an external bank account. Check out more on the info above here: wi.se/businessgeneralfaq As a financial service provider, Wise is covered by regulations around the world which are designed to keep customers and their money safe. You can see how we're regulated here: wi.se/regulation We always aim to offer the best support for every person and every business. However, my wise business account got deactivated without any reason, and now I have my own website, can I still create a new WISE business account using my passport? Thanks in advance for your response.🙏
Hello there. Each Wise customer can only have one account, Tyrone. You can read our acceptable use policy here: wi.se/usepolicy Account deactivation is normally a result of a conflict with our Terms of Service or Customer Agreement, or due to a discrepancy with a financial law, we never deactivate customers without a reason. Hey there. We're happy to see you're interested in learning more about us. So please note that the costs of topping up a GBP balance in your account with us would depend on the involved method of payment, and that this may actually be free of charges. We elaborate on this on our page here: wi.se/receive_fees If from there on out you'd like to make payments in EUR, then we'd advise you to first convert GBP to EUR in your account with us in order to avoid (possibly high) conversion fees. Our exchange rate is set according to the mid-market rate, as we believe this to be the only fair rate out there. For more info on how you may convert using your account with us, go here: wi.se/moneyconversion - and to learn more about the mid-market exchange rate, click here: wi.se/midmarketrateinfo And please also feel free to PM or DM us on Facebook, Instagram, or X, in case you have any other questions, as we'd be more than glad to assist you.

I’m from Toronto, Canada. If I want to withdraw money from my Wise account (personal or business), which ATM should I go to without paying any withdrawal fees?
Hi, the rates for your wise card will depend on where it was issued. If you make a withdrawal in a currency you don't have at the moment, we'll convert it for you. Some ATMs may charge additional fees, and we have no control over these, so we always recommend refusing any conversions offered by them. Here you can find more info 👉 wi.se/usingaforeignatm
Hi 👋 If you can get the account depends on your region as well, which you can check from here: wi.se/balanceavailability. If it's enabled for your region, then feel free to sign up: wi.se/createaccount and you can open 50+ balances then. Let us know if anything comes up! Hi, there. You can definitely move money between your Wise accounts. First, you’ll need to make sure you open a balance that has bank details (e.g. USD if you're planning to send USD from your other account). Then, follow the steps outlined here: wi.se/how-to-move-money We hope this helps. Hi, Wise team. I have a question. I have a limited company in UK but I’m a resident of Kazakhstan and I only have a Kazakhstan residential address. I tried putting the country of my account to Kazakhstan and payments were not available and now I’m wondering if I will be able to fully use Wise if I live in Kazakshtan. I have everything to verify: UK company, every document you need except UK residential address and now I’m worried. So the question is: Will I be able to register a Wise business account and fully use Wise functional if I register it with my UK company but the Kazakhstan address? (Sorry for my bad English level)
Hi there. When you open a business account with us, the account address must be where the business's based in. For example, UK businesses will need to register with their UK address to open a business account. However, at the moment we've temporarily paused onboarding UK businesses. Rest assured, we're working on resuming this at the soonest possible. In the meantime, you can join our waitlist. We'll email you once this is available. Also, we don't support business accounts in Kazakhstan, but you can create a personal account from there. Based on what you've described, you might've opened a personal account with a Kazakhstan address instead. You can continue to use your personal account based there for your personal use. Note that you'd only be able to send money overseas, since our Balance feature where you can hold/receive money isn't available there. More info here: wi.se/howtosendmoney Lastly, if you've more questions, please reach out to us via our official support channels. You can PM/DM us over on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter (X). We'll be in touch with you there.
Hey, there! Wise operates in Trinidad and Tobago, but we don't support the TTD currency at the moment. Hey, Enzo. If you're from Cameroon, then you can use Wise only to send money from a personal account. This is because business accounts aren't available there just yet. Our account details feature isn't too, so you can't receive payments. We're always looking to make our services available to more of you across the globe, but we don't have a timeframe for this just yet. Once we have an update, we'll be sure to let you know.
Hey, there. You can't add KES directly to your Wise account. Hello wise. For some reason when I click on the link, I get a message which says, "We’ve temporarily paused onboarding new businesses." if I remember correctly this wasn't there before. I've joined the waitlist, but my question is how long this will last for?
Hey, there! And correct - Due to the high demand, we temporarily can’t onboard businesses in the EEA and UK regions. Hello Wise team, I've recently made my Wise personal account and want to clear some of my doubts that I was unable to find the answers online. 1. Will there be any problem if we exceed the estimated limit for the amount we get to choose while setting up our account ? I just made my account and choosed the least amount then shortly I came to realise that it may not be sufficient limit for me but I didn't find any way to edit that or to change it. 2. If we are having a personal account and have multiple balance account with several currency will that be a problem ? Also if we perform a good number of transaction in amount exceeding our choosen limit like I mentioned earlier, will that cause any problems in the future ? 3. Just to be cautious; What are the possible ways to withdraw our fund if our account is blocked maybe due to much transaction than choosen limit. Will I be able to give any currency real bank account for the withdrawal of available balances stuck in the account ? Also does that account need to be of same name or we can provide any account for withdrawal in this case. Thank you for making international transaction so much easy.
Hi there. Great questions. 1. When you select the amount of money that you expect to use Wise for, this is just an estimate, and it's okay if you go over or under that amount. 2. If you live in a region where the balance feature is available, then you can open as many or as little as you'd like. It shouldn't be an issue if you go over or under the estimate that you chose during account registration. If it does cause a problem, feel free to reach out to us, and we'll take a closer look. 3. Account deactivation in this sort of scenario is very unlikely, as you should be able to go over or under the estimate that you chose. However, if your account ever does get deactivated for whatever reason, you'll have the option to submit an appeal for account reactivation consideration and a refund for any remaining funds in the account. During this process, our team will ask for external banking details to send the refund to. It's highly recommended for this money to be sent to an external bank account in your name. If this isn't possible, then our team will work with you to find an alternative solution. We hope these answers to your questions give you some clarity on your doubts. If you need anything else, then feel free to reach out to us on Twitter (X), Facebook, or Instagram.
@@Wise Thank you so much for all your answers. I still have one question if I can edit my details as I've not performed any transaction yet. It would be really great if Wise could allow me to do so as it will make me feel relaxed while performing transactions in the coming future.
It depends on the details that need to be edited. We'll link our guide here that goes into more detail: wi.se/editdetails After you click the link, scroll down to "What you can and can’t edit"
Hi there. Our business account supports freelancers too. When you add your details, we’ll let you know if we support businesses in your country. Looking foward for your reply asap!
Hey there 👋 When you open a business Wise account, we'll typically need to know your personal address as the business owner, and also the registered address for the business. Hey, Franklin. Yes, since you're located in Malaysia, your personal account needs to have your address there, but once you open the business account you’ll have to register it with the address in the UK. At the end you’ll have two accounts, one personal and one business, and they’ll have different addresses. Should have any other questions, please send us a DM on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook. Alternatively you can contact us via email/phone call here: wi.se/directcontactus

Hi, I've opened a Wise personal account few years ago from Cameroon, and I'm presently interested in creating a Wise Business account since I have also created an offshore LTD legally registered company from the UK, to be able to receive payments from Stripe or PayPal. First, is it possible? Then can I easily transfer money from my Wise Business account to my Wise Personal account? and at last, can I transfer money from my Wise Business account (created under my UK LTD company) to simply my personal physical bank account in Cameroon? Thanks :)
If you've already set up account details on your Wise business account, then yes, you can certainly move money from your personal to your business account 😊 Here's how you can do so: wi.se/send_between_currency_accounts
If you’re a sole trader, your limits are the same as a personal customer’s limits. We explain those in details, here: wi.se/business-cards-limits The limits are monthly. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
Hello from Georgia! I'm an Amazon Seller and I’ve been trying to link my WISE account to receive payments. However, WISE isn’t providing me with the necessary account details for USD. Does anyone have advice on how I can receive my funds from Amazon to my WICE account? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, and have a wonderful day, everyone!
Hey, Zura. At the moment, USD account details are not available for personal customers in Japan and for businesses worldwide. But if you don't fall into these categories, please send us a PM on Facebook, X or Instagram with more details, along with your membership number so we can help you out.

Hey, there. You can only use a business card to pay under your name to pay for the one-time feature charge. If you don't have one, you can use your shareholder's or director's card. Please also note that you need to use an external card, not a Wise card. We hope this clarifies 🙂
I'm stuck when trying to create a digital card, it is showing me that the business cards are currently unavailable in USA. My business account is on my USA LLC. Can anybody help to resolve the issue?
Hello, Ayyub. At the moment, we're not providing cards for businesses in the USA. This is temporary, and we're working hard to make the Business card available again. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Hello Team Wise I am from Afghanistan and currently living in South Sudan, can I open a wise account ? If not what is the solution to have a wise account ? What if I purchase a virtual address in US then apply for a wise account? And I am a seller in Amazon, can I use individual wise account for my amazon seller account? Thank you
Hey there! Unfortunately, we can't offer our services in South Sudan at the moment, so you won't be able to open a Wise account while being there. Virtual addresses go against our Terms of Use, since it's not a legitimate address of residency, and we strongly recommend against trying to use them to open accounts. More on this here: wi.se/customeragreement We're afraid, right now there's no work around for users in South Sudan to open a Wise account. We're always working hard to expand our services, as soon as we have any updates on the matter, we'll make sure to let our customers know, so keep an eye on our social media.
Hey there 👋 You can have up to 3 digital cards at one time for your business account. More info on this topic here: wi.se/wisedigitalcard. Please note, our cards are debit, and we don't offer credit ones at the moment. If there's anything specific you'd like to discuss, feel free to reach out to our other social media channels (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter). We'll be glad to assist you there.
Hey there! There can be various reasons for this to happen, but to advise further we'd need to take a closer look. You can reach out with a DM on any of our official social media channels on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. We'll be happy to help 🙂
Hi, there. Generally, if you want to link your Wise account with PayPal, all you need to do is: - Log into your PayPal account - Click Add bank account or Card - Click Link bank account - Enter your Wise account details (EUR, GBP or USD) - Click Confirm PayPal will then send 2 small deposits to your Wise account details - it usually takes 1-2 working days to arrive. Once you’ve received them, just log in to PayPal again and enter the deposit amount into the verification box. Keep in mind PayPal only accepts account details if the currency matches the registered PayPal account country. For example, they’ll accept GBP details when the address is in the UK. We hope this helps, but if this isn't what you're looking for, let us know. We'll be glad to assist.
We'd suggest confirming with PayPal as well. But if you're asking if it's the same for Wise Business account/card with Wise Personal account when linking it, then yes it should be the same procedure. Just to note, in case you'll be getting any issues, this could be due to the recent operational changes in the US that impacted the account details you use to receive USD. Ensure that you're putting it the new one (if your account details were changed). And also due to these changes, on 31 October we’re also deactivating Wise cards for businesses registered in the US. This is temporary, and we're working hard to make the Business card available again. We've covered this here: wi.se/usbusiness
Hey, Joey 👋 Wise Business works for all different types of businesses - from freelancers and entrepreneurs to large-scale enterprises. But at this moment we don't offer Business account for customers in Suriname, only personal ones. Personal customers can use Wise, but the features are limited. Hey there! If you're trying to receive earnings from dropshipping, you'll need to have a business account with us, since you can't accept these sorts of payments to a personal account. We have some restrictions for our business accounts, in terms of allowed activities, and more. See those here: wi.se/supported-businesses If your products are compliant with our restrictions, then you should be able to use Wise to receive your payments. You'll just need to get your account set up, and acquire account details with us. See how to get your account set up and what's required from you here: wi.se/verifyyourbusiness And, check out how to get details here: wi.se/getbankdetails As for depositing PKR, we don't currently accept payments from PKR - we can only send out PKR. You can do this via SWIFT: wi.se/swiftpayments We don't have active support here on RUclips, so if you have questions, please reach out to us here: wi.se/contactus Or, we're available over DM on Facebook, Instagram, and X.

Hey, there! When it comes to sending to PKR, both the sender and recipient needs to be a personal account: wi.se/guidetopkr So it wouldn't work when sending from your business profile, but should still work if you switch over to your personal one 👍

Hey there! In this video, we've covered the main differences/similarities between business and a personal account. In a nutshell, you can open a business account if you have a company or any other sort of business that brings you income, while personal account is only for personal use (transfers to friends, family, receiving salary etc). If you would like to learn more about the differences between these two accounts, we recommend you to check our blog page: wi.se/business-personal-differences. Hi John thanks for your prompt reply great videos as usual. i think wise should upgrade its app to make it easier to transfer money between accounts. Its too technical at the moment i tried it and got lost. A simple alternative would be to allow the user to see all their recipients in both business and personal profiles. I first came across this problem when i had charged the wrong account that didn't have the recipient i wanted to send to and i had already reached my limit and needed to transfer the payment urgently.
We're sorry to know that it happened to you. We hear you, and thanks for your valuable insight - we're indeed working on making our services better for our users, although, we can't promise any timeline for that. In general context, one of the possible reasons why recipients aren't synced in both accounts, is due to the fact that there are transactions from the business account that are intended for business purpose/transaction only. We want to avoid mixing the details, since a personal account should only be used for personal transactions. Otherwise, it'll go against our Acceptable Use Policy in the event that you accidentally send a payment to a personal account/recipient for business purposes - we've outlined this under section 1.4: wi.se/usepolicy In the meantime, our DM is open from different social media platforms in case you have specific questions about your Wise account, or if the answer above doesn't suffice.
Hey there! We aim to provide our services everywhere, but sometimes it's not possible due to local regulations, Kamrul. But don't worry, once account details are available in Bangladesh we'll make sure to let our customers know 😊

Hi, will the feature of "Begin paid via email or Phone" that is available on personal accounts ever be available on Business Accounts?
What if the freelancer dont have a registered business. Can they accept payments from different countries for small services provided online?
Hello, there. Yes, it's possible 🙂 Just check here if we offer Wise balances in your country: wi.se/balanceavailability
After that, there are several ways you can receive money from others to your Wise account. The available options depend on your address, currency and whether you’re using a personal or business account. Please check more details here: wi.se/howtoreceivemoney
Feel free to send us a private message on our other social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter) if you have any other questions - we'll be happy to help.

Hello there. Each Wise customer can only have one account, Tyrone. You can read our acceptable use policy here: wi.se/usepolicy
Account deactivation is normally a result of a conflict with our Terms of Service or Customer Agreement, or due to a discrepancy with a financial law, we never deactivate customers without a reason. How much wise charge transaction fee on personal and business wise account if we deposit in GBP and want to make payments in euros?thanks
Hey there. We're happy to see you're interested in learning more about us.
So please note that the costs of topping up a GBP balance in your account with us would depend on the involved method of payment, and that this may actually be free of charges. We elaborate on this on our page here: wi.se/receive_fees
If from there on out you'd like to make payments in EUR, then we'd advise you to first convert GBP to EUR in your account with us in order to avoid (possibly high) conversion fees. Our exchange rate is set according to the mid-market rate, as we believe this to be the only fair rate out there.
For more info on how you may convert using your account with us, go here: wi.se/moneyconversion - and to learn more about the mid-market exchange rate, click here: wi.se/midmarketrateinfo
And please also feel free to PM or DM us on Facebook, Instagram, or X, in case you have any other questions, as we'd be more than glad to assist you.

Hi, there. You can definitely move money between your Wise accounts. First, you’ll need to make sure you open a balance that has bank details (e.g. USD if you're planning to send USD from your other account). Then, follow the steps outlined here: wi.se/how-to-move-money

More info here: wi.se/howtosendmoney

Hello Wise team,
I've recently made my Wise personal account and want to clear some of my doubts that I was unable to find the answers online.

Yes, since you're located in Malaysia, your personal account needs to have your address there, but once you open the business account you’ll have to register it with the address in the UK. At the end you’ll have two accounts, one personal and one business, and they’ll have different addresses.

Hello Team Wise
I am from Afghanistan and currently living in South Sudan, can I open a wise account ?
If not what is the solution to have a wise account ?
What if I purchase a virtual address in US then apply for a wise account?
And I am a seller in Amazon, can I use individual wise account for my amazon seller account?

Can I link my Wise Business with my US Paypal Business account as my bank?
Hi, there. Generally, if you want to link your Wise account with PayPal, all you need to do is:
- Log into your PayPal account
- Click Add bank account or Card
- Click Link bank account
- Enter your Wise account details (EUR, GBP or USD)
- Click Confirm
PayPal will then send 2 small deposits to your Wise account details - it usually takes 1-2 working days to arrive.
@@Wise So its the same with paypal business?

Otherwise, it'll go against our Acceptable Use Policy in the event that you accidentally send a payment to a personal account/recipient for business purposes - we've outlined this under section 1.4: wi.se/usepolicy
In the meantime, our DM is open from different social media platforms in case you have specific questions about your Wise account, or if the answer above doesn't suffice.
