    8oz Kelp Noodles
    2tbs Baking Soda, level tablespoons
    1tbs Lime or Lemon juice
    Can let it sit for 1-3 hours, maybe just 20-30 minutes. Then rinse them well.

    I bought kelp Noodles years ago and never tried them again because of their texture. I didn’t know you could get them to be soft. I now know thanks to you!

    Why the 1 - 3 hours? It literally is ready as soon as you soak it in Bi Carb and lemon/lime juice

      Also I just always eyeball everything and it comes out the same every time. I soften and rinse them in under 5 minutes

    • @wbey2692
      @wbey2692 Год назад

      Same. It let them soak for like 2-3mins and they’re already super soft within that timeframe. And I just eyeball the amount too. I don’t measure it.

    This is how I always soften mine too. The texture is softer and more noodle like. They taste so much better after you do this. I'm glad you made this video to show people that after they do this method the noodles are fantastic!!! I have to make your sauces. They look sooooooooooo good!!!!Yummmmm kelp noodles!!! :)

    My understanding is that the kelp noodles are from Japan. I used to eat them all the time. And then Fukushima happened. Are you concerned about the potential radiation in the noodles from the region? I really want to eat them again, but am concerned about the possible contamination.

    I'm not a raw vegan at all.....In fact I'm quite the opposite....However one thing I learned from watching raw vegan videos is the use of raw cashews....I use them to thicken all my white gravies and sauces and I use it in place of dairy in all of my creamy soups....Raw Cashews are AWESOME (but I cook them)

      Matt Monarch please do not get me wrong. I think sea clear and some other fermented soy products are good for you. I just have been noticing that you say that you don’t eat soy but promoting sea clear on your RUclips videos so I wanted to mention at some point :). I’d probably try sea clear if I didn’t have soy sensitivity! Sounds like a great product ;)
