My porsche maintenance was fine until you realize your oil air separator has been freezing in cold starts... this caused bore score in every cylinder. My Maserati 3200GT had zero issues, and I mean 0. 12,000 to repaired when in reality it's a 1000$ cnc job. Moving into the Maserati Gran Turismo sport. There are things to worry about like the crank case gasket oil leak. You will find no real issues. With the old 3.0tt you are more likely, but the 3.8tt is a masterpiece. Brings me back to the feeling of my 3200gt 3.2l tt. My favorite option for the quattroporte is the gts but it's the 3.8. Now we have the new engine from the mc20. However I mist state the 4.2 version of that specific engine was made by maserati in 1997-1998. The 4.7 engine is indeed made by Ferrari. The 3.8 is in endless supercars. And yes it has a cross plain crank but it was designed and made by Farrari... but no, that setup is in no farrari. But the difference is negligible the ls series engines are made by GM and the engine is found in all different platforms. The Cadillac CTS-V and the corvette and the camaro all use the same engine, but all internals are completely different... so it's the same engine that's in the corvette with better internals, so... it's a gm engine and the maserati 4.7 is a farrari engine. For a list of engines just designed by maserati for maserati, Wikipedia has a list. But awesome information on the suspension bushings and how a wet and dry sumps operate... kuddos and thanks. BTW no car has ever matched my 3200gt not in power speed maneuverability, nothing. Only Hawabusa has ever passed me. I just doubled the boost. The gran turismo and quattroporte are luxury sports sedans. The 4.7 doesn't even have port injection it uses a air spray system so no injectors get gummed up during combustion. Less maintenance and obviously it's for older people... um light housings check the part number it's maybe 200 usd from another manufacturer. I have it written down somewhere. If you need that info, just message me here or Instagram @GreenMaserati

When guys see a jacked guy they say omg he's on steroids. When women see another beautiful women they said omg look at all her make up. It's the same for owning a maserati or jaguar. People who have never owned one will talk shit about just like the muscles they don't have or the natural beauty they don't have. Everyone talks shit. They're beautiful cars. Just take care of it and maintain it and you're fine

These cars are fabulous…I’ve had my GranSport since 2007. Maserati’s have a bad reputation because of all the Internet trolls who have never owned or have a clue. Anyone can pick these up, however, the maintenance is super high. Many people buy these and cheap out…so focus the reputation on those people who are being cheap…not the cars fault. Also, if you want perfection….buy a boring, cankle looking German car. Hopefully you keep this car for a while…you won’t regret it….GO CUBS….

The beauty of the Sport GTS is that it's a more approachable version of a car that's historically been difficult for people to approach. Compare this with a 2004-2007 model containing the F1 manual gearbox: a notorious system that is fantastic to hustle but is just impractical for daily driving and gets a bad rap for its replacement costs. That's a car that can be appreciated only for what it is - and it's reflected by a going rate of about $15k or under.
