This is best video I was looking for I’ve ordeordered mtx 20 inch same wheel yours but mine 5000w do you think rim and spokes strong enough to handle 5000w around 15 kilos ?
Thanks for watching, and the compliments 😃, as far as strength goes I think the mtx 20 should handle it just fine, id worry about fitment, but it should fit as long as its on a 20 inch rim, if not you can always return for a different one, I love the bike its a great get around item, but wouldn't want it to be any smaller of a motor, in my opinion the 750 watt limit is way to small
Bro, how do I find the bike kit? Used in the video
Nice build man. I'm doing research into building my own. Do you think getting thicker tires would make it less dangerous to drive fast or even a front hub motor to avoid the wheelie situation? Would you do anything different after learning from your first build?
Thank you.I just put 2.35s on my sons build, same bike just different color. I think It could even take 2.4s, but not to sure on that cause it still has some room, and no I don't think i would change anything its an awsome ebike, just would like more range
I would love to see pics of it when done if you dont mind
You put the torque arm washer wrong way round needs to be pushing on the frame not pulling, because of the way the axle rotates.
In the video yes I did, but off video I fixed it, thanks for the insight 👍
Good job 👍 that's fast
Thanks, yeah 35 mph is a tad bit much for this bike, so I keep it restricted
Glad to see a new video from you!!
I'm working on new vids and ideas for vids
ay nice to see someone else has done it. i turned my framed 20" bmx into a 1500w scooter of DOOOOOM. its great lil get around PEV. nice alternative to my 170lb emoto XD
got a nice air shock in the front of mine.the motor i got from LeafBike was 110mm made for BMX width. i did need to get custom dropout adapters made cause my bmx takes a 14mm axle, and the rear motor uses a 10/14mm axle. doubles as a overkill torque arm!
Nice im planing on upgrading torque arm, and I thought about a air shock front fork but decided not to, glad to hear u got one too, prob not as long distance as ur emoto thu. 170 is crazy heavy, thanks for the watch
Jesus loves you! ❤️ Just researching to maybe upgrade my son's bike.
Just becarful with this upgrade cause it has alot of torgue from the start, might want to keep it at 1 from the start
I like that little bike, I'd probably use a 1000w motor if I were to make one.
750 watt they say is legal. But 750 watt just doesn't seem enough to me, i personally wouldn't want any smaller than what i got on it
@@ynotyoudive9392 In the UK 250w is the legal limit and it is supposed to be pedal assist only, I'm not bothered about that though.
@@peroduanippa they just try and make it hard on the everyday person
@@ynotyoudive9392 agreed. They do not want FREEDOM!
Wauw the 20 inch mtx39 rim is like almost nowhere to find.
Its still on Amazon for like 650$ its an ebike conversion kit
Hey, thank you for putting up a conversion video up detailing a lot of the steps first off, I was wondering if you had the link for you brake disks and calipers? I’m gonna be building out on a 110mm leaf rear hub motor conversion and it’s kind of hard finding information on disk/caliper sets that fit 20’ electric hub kits
@@ripvanwinkle1854 hope your build goes well thanks for watching, other than the ones I have linked, there's alot of good ones on Amazon, I had to make amd weld a custom mount for the ones I used. I tired to help others build their dream too
@@ynotyoudive9392 oh yeah also what's the name of the tool you used to put screw points in the frame for the battery mount if you don't mind me asking
@ripvanwinkle1854 threaded insert riveter to install the nutserts, and when u use it get the serts pretty tight, cause the battery is heavy and u want it to hold well
Nice
Thanks its a great bike once I figured it out
Bro, how do I find the bike kit? Used in the video
Not a kit bike had to put one together my self, check description for parts I used
Very cool
Thank you
I can’t find the e-bike kit you posted on Amazon?
In the description I listed all amazon parts I used, had to make the kit my self
@@ynotyoudive9392 I copied and pasted but it came up no results? Could you give me the exact names and dimensions of your kit and brake parts? I have an old Jesse James chopper bike I’m trying to do this to.

Great video
@@MrGraffiti171 thank you, haven't got to more videos lately do to funds issue and not having them lol
Good to see you mate, Thanks for the video 😊
I've missed some of ur live vids because it says it was deleted, but thanks for watching
@@ynotyoudive9392 - I did delete some that were not getting any more views in the studio, you have to be in the live chat itself
It's pronounced Hairy long..
Oh I see
Was that an NR kit? Was 35 mph the top speed?
35 is all I can get it to go, now maybe I've got the settings not so right thats restricting it, but I doubt it, anyway bike that size doesn't need to go faster than that it is stretchy
How has those inserts held up for the battery is the battery wobbling?
Inserts are holding great, just made sure they were extra tight, most of the weight is on bar, if you have used these before you know how they are
What’s is that tool called
Range?
Gets somewhere between 20 and 30 depending on if your on it alot
