With the type of battery you have (Hailong), you could have a controller hidden in the battery cradle with the control cables coming out of the it instead of just a battery connector. This eliminates the cabling between the battery and motor, and reduces clutter on your bike. The downside is that the controller is slightly less powerful than what you have (22A vs 30A).
Don't rely on the bottle holder bolts, the weight of a battery is too much for them. Either get a base plate with hose clamps to make sure the battery can't come out in an accident etc or do what I did, get a triangular battery that hangs in the frame by straps.

If you are planning to upgrade to a DUAL MOTOR, best set up is to use a Gear motor as the base and a Gearless motor to use as a turbo Booster ( 1500 to 2000watt ) . This set up provides build very practical of using gear motor within residential speed zones and using turbo Booster when on blvds or straightaway streets on long distance trips of a 5 to 10 mile or longer. Gearless motors only go so far on full throttle of a 3 to 5 mile range before the motor cuts off to cool down a few minutes. Using a Gear motor will decrease overall torque output( saves battery and not overheating motors) When on turbo Booster , you can have the gear motor on cruise control as regenerating battery power kicks in ( only batteries or factory e bikes that do this). The weight of this set up is ideal besides performance that is equal or more vs the 3000$ and higher e bikes.
