The ranting's completely justified, tbh. Drawcia and Paintra's creator, Adeline's origins, how Dark Crafter fits into everything, and especially the common theme of magical paintbrushes to begin with are hardly given ANY explanation. The paintbrushes probably even beat Another Dimension when it comes to the least explained aspects of Kirby lore.
I like to imagine that Adeleine is actually the same species as Drawcia and Paintra, but in a very different form, similar to how Meta Knight and Galacta Knight have opposable thumbs and wings while Kirby just has stump arms and floats. However, I see it as more of a transformation that Adeleine is too young to use than natural progression through life. Also Drawcia and Paintra are evil so the paintbrush just tried to put Paintra back in a painting. Trust me, it makes a lot more sense in my head

The fact that almost all of us in the Kirby fandom that actually decipher the lore are pretty much conspiracy theorists is astounding considering it’s a game about a pink blob that eats stuff.
I'm way surprised to be honest. When I looked at those meeting notes, it made me realize that the lore is oddly important to them, even back in the earlier days. I find it interesting that they don't just flat out explain everything in official games, leaving bread crumbs (sometimes only in the original texts as well). All this for a pink blob who could destroy the universe. Haha
I like how Kirby lore is really deep. I like putting the pieces together or finding a weird connection between certain games. I'm glad they gave villains like Drawcia a larger role as more games released hopefully she can make a return as a secret boss or something maybe a mirror world variant.
My hypothesis about how Claycia brought the other 6 worlds to life is that Dark Crafter made a deal with her: By helping it steal the color and life from Dreamland, Dark Crafter would lend it's newly stolen powers to let Claycia finish her work without Eiline's help. The idea of power and independence lured Claycia, so she agreed to be posessed. But by the end, she learned that making art is more fun when your friends help. Sorry that was a bit short, but I just came up with that 10 minutes ago while watching this. If you have any questions or plotholes to point out, please let me know.
I don't think Adeline was from Shiver Star, but I do believe that her ancestors were, and that humans are advanced enough to travel through space in Kirby. For all we know, Adeline may have never known about Shiver Star being the planet that humans originated from.
Perhaps Dark Crafter is a clay statue crafted by someone previously possessed by a Dark Matter, or it's clay that was possessed by Dark Matter and mutated into a different being.(Like Dark Nebula) That said, it stealing colors is like a twist on Dark Matter shrouding them within darkness. Rather then devouring them through possession or blocking out light, it simply removes them and creates a twisted version.
I love how in those concept sketches for Vividria, it specifically mentions Drawcia and Paintra as older sisters, but then there’s also a little doodle of Claycia that’s kinda just _there._ Like the designers were just like “Huh, her name sounds similar to Drawcia’s, huh, how about that, what a co-winky-dink, huh? But there’s probably no actual connection lol” I know this right here that I’m about to spit out is just speculation and nothing more, but personally I’m inclined to think the sisters are Halcandran in origin. Let’s say for argument’s sake that Drawcia is an albino or something. I’d say that they all three bear at least a _passing_ resemblance to Magolor in terms of facial design and clothing style - they certainly all have the weird floaty bodies, obscured mouth area, and some kind of cape, cloak, or shawl. The gals just don’t have hands for whatever reason. But really, who can say at this point? Because Shinya Kumazaki certainly isn’t. Anyway - Happy New Year, Meteorz! Prosperity unto you and yours!🥂

I've been suspecting that the Forgotten Land is in fact an incarnation of Earth. Not the same one as Shiver Star, mind, but the Earth-like architecture heavily implies it. While I don't think Adeleine is from there, I think the tech ancients, which I suspect to be humans, colonized Shiver Star before it froze over due to its once-familiar environment, and Adeleine was one of the refugees from that planet.
I am really curious about Adeleine. I haven't made any theories about her yet, since most of them already exist with the little information we have. I can tell the lore won't be focused on her though, probably because the Shiver Star theory is true. Mind you, the humans only moved from Earth if the theory is true, they aren't extinct of course. I always look forward to new episodes on this channel to be a bit more enlightened about Kirby!
It seems pretty likely considering the last segment of her gueststar-playthrough in star allies has one go through a replica of it. If that had no reason beyond fanservice, then it would have made more sense to replicate popstar and ripple star for their more iconic nature in the story of 64.
From the credits of Dreamland 3, I assumed she was the Christopher Robin of the Kirby universe in the sense she lives on Earth but comes to Popstar to play with her friends.
I'm not sure we can really take the 8cm thing as canon at this point, if we're using Smash as a reference, then Whispy doesn't grow his own apples either... (Which is definitely something he does)
About what dark crafter is, I think I may have the answer. In the intro cutscene of Rainbow Curse in the moment where elline apears for the first time we can actually hear the theme of Necrodeus. The form of dark crafter is similar to a cloud like thouse that the scull gang used to posses people. Maybe dark crafter was a being created by Necrodeus that he used to get rid of color, witch is related to light, something that he hated. And at some point dark crafter was able to posses claycia since he had the same powers of possession of the skull gang.
Dark Crafter could be a Dark Matter that got immune to rainbows We can all agree Void is Dark Matter, and astral birth Void had Rainbow accents So Dark Matter CAN be rainbow
Void is not Dark Matter because that is the same as saying I am basically the same as my great great great grandson. What is interessting to note tho is that while glowing, Void becomes immune to friend hearts. so there is such a thing as getting resistant towards what is supposed to hurt you.
You didn't mention this but Drawcia's little eyeball minions are named "Para Matter", so yeah it's kind of heavily implied that she has something to do with Dark Matter. Her body shape, clothes and zig zag pattern on her robes are similar to that of Dark Matter Swordsman. Not to mention the fact that Sectonia's eye flowers look exactly like the Para Matter and we all know she was probably corrupted by Dark Mind. Also correct me if I'm wrong but the first time Drawcia Soul's ball bounce attack gets reused is in the Sectionia Soul fight, right?
They are by no means "artists", but both Heavy Lobster and Chameleo Arm could both produce paint! They were the only enemies to gift the Paint ability in Super Star (Ultra).
from now on i will believe that heavy lobster is the best artist out of the entire Kirby cast also heavy lobster produced live/robotic paint things. so there's that...

I think the reason that the spinoff villains are more successful is because they are part of the plot to explain why the spinoff’s focus gameplay is there in the first place. The spinoffs usually have a certain limitation or limitations that make them different from the main games.
I'm pretty sure the Kirby universe has more than two artists. Just because Adeleine is the only artist with a bigger presence, that does not mean she's responsible for everything art-related.
I like to think that Adeleine previously lived on Earth and was Iskeaied to Planet Popstar through a painting, Not unlike Alice in Wonderland and Dorothy in Oz. She was later adopted by the Artist Witches, whom she got learned how to bring paintings to life. Unfortunately, during the events of The Crystal Shards, she came to Shiver Star on her journey with Kirby and Friends, not realizing that this Snowy and Shivering planet was her homeworld in ruins.

Something I'm surprised wasn't mentioned, Drawcia was the first soul boss and most of the other soul bosses appear to copy most of her moveset. Which... Pretty interesting lore wise. It also may confirm she was made when Adeline was possessed by Dark Matter since almost all of Void Termina attacks are her Soul moves and the fact that Dark Matter originates from Void Termina.
Necrodius was by far the closest, essentially destroying all but the tiniest speck of the pink puffball. And he didn’t stop at that, transitioning between areas shows the death god killing off all but one price of Kirby each time. Dude was relentless. And if you lose all your kirbies in that game it shows his soul flying to the light in a game over scene. Keep in mind every other game Kirby just falls asleep.
I think that Vividria is Drawcia and Paintra's youngest sister because if you say all three of there names that sound quite similar and they all kind of look alike
Bastron was said to be a cruise ship before it became a battleship in the events of Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, and Elline's diary shows them creating a Cotta, so I think Seventopia was around before Dark Crafter possessed her, or at least enough of a portion for it to still be a world that they rule together.
So, claycia isn't a sister, but more say a friend of the 3 painting sisters, or at least she would have some relationship to the sisters aside from the -ia thing she has
What if Elline discovered Claycia had "Gone a big cuckoo" because Claycia while possessed made Drawcia and Paintra, Elline only realising her mistake after painting them.
They could honestly give a classic kirby-mode for docked. Though I see it more as a patch-possibility than something in the basegame because it would likely require major redesigns and push back a portrelease at least one or two years.
While I personally wouldn't say we're deprived of Kirby (Unlike a certain space themed exploration game) Super Kirby Clash was filler and you know it! =P

Theory: dark matter was unable to posses people at the time because he needed a form. So, using some sort of telepathy, he convinced Claycia to sculpt a form from clay and the reason dark crafter has the color is from the color claycia drained from the seven worlds

I can remember the time when star allies was new and adeleine was nowhere to be found. I then concluded that vividria was supposed to be a drawing of her just so that there is a reference to her in a meta-sense. She actively draws stuff from Kirby 64 onwards afterall and it would also have consistancy with the way she is younger than the twins that we fought as bosses. She would have only been drawn after 64 ended. Though, that seems less likely after Adeleine proper has been patched into the game. Also, I think dark crafter is supposed to follow colorrules. Pure Black is either the absense of color or a mixture of many diffrent colors, similar to pure white, you are just supposed to have more color variety. The color actually looks like some kind of shield considering it was not there originally and color in rainbowcurse is equal to lifeenergy. After there is barely any left, dark crafter goes down in one more hit. It would be like if Dark matter absorbed every lifeform to get more energy, though that would probably be too heavy for a game like that to get to the west.
I don't think Adeline was from Shiver Star since there's evidence that it's inhabitants were actually the Acients (Or just from Halcandra) If the HR-D3 Fight is to go by then egg engines was built by them just like the factory on shiver star. Metal General also resembles HR-E (Second Phase of HR-H) and has the same attacks
1:45 judging by the latest kirby game (forgotten land) it is possible she could be one of the last surviving humans. She's probably never even set foot on planet earth, perhaps some humans also fled to dreamland after the invasion. However she doesn't seem to have any family or human friends so I'm not entirely sure. Maybe a future game will elaborate

I am really curious about Adeleine. I haven't made any theories about her yet, since most of them already exist with the little information we have. I can tell the lore won't be focused on her though, probably because the Shiver Star theory is true. Mind you, the humans only moved from Earth if the theory is true, they aren't extinct of course.
I always look forward to new episodes on this channel to be a bit more enlightened about Kirby!
It seems pretty likely considering the last segment of her gueststar-playthrough in star allies has one go through a replica of it. If that had no reason beyond fanservice, then it would have made more sense to replicate popstar and ripple star for their more iconic nature in the story of 64.
From the credits of Dreamland 3, I assumed she was the Christopher Robin of the Kirby universe in the sense she lives on Earth but comes to Popstar to play with her friends.
Wait if Kirby is 8 cm tall, then is Ado a Smurf?

I'm not sure we can really take the 8cm thing as canon at this point, if we're using Smash as a reference, then Whispy doesn't grow his own apples either... (Which is definitely something he does)

About what dark crafter is, I think I may have the answer.
In the intro cutscene of Rainbow Curse in the moment where elline apears for the first time we can actually hear the theme of Necrodeus.
The form of dark crafter is similar to a cloud like thouse that the scull gang used to posses people.
Maybe dark crafter was a being created by Necrodeus that he used to get rid of color, witch is related to light, something that he hated.
And at some point dark crafter was able to posses claycia since he had the same powers of possession of the skull gang.
Dark Crafter could be a Dark Matter that got immune to rainbows
We can all agree Void is Dark Matter, and astral birth Void had Rainbow accents
So Dark Matter CAN be rainbow
And Dark Matter Clone in Planet Robobot was able to apply effects from the Rainbow Sword to his own.
Void is not Dark Matter because that is the same as saying I am basically the same as my great great great grandson. What is interessting to note tho is that while glowing, Void becomes immune to friend hearts. so there is such a thing as getting resistant towards what is supposed to hurt you.

You didn't mention this but Drawcia's little eyeball minions are named "Para Matter", so yeah it's kind of heavily implied that she has something to do with Dark Matter. Her body shape, clothes and zig zag pattern on her robes are similar to that of Dark Matter Swordsman. Not to mention the fact that Sectonia's eye flowers look exactly like the Para Matter and we all know she was probably corrupted by Dark Mind. Also correct me if I'm wrong but the first time Drawcia Soul's ball bounce attack gets reused is in the Sectionia Soul fight, right?
They are by no means "artists", but both Heavy Lobster and Chameleo Arm could both produce paint! They were the only enemies to gift the Paint ability in Super Star (Ultra).
from now on i will believe that heavy lobster is the best artist out of the entire Kirby cast

right, dark matter being created intentionally into the world wouldn’t make sense, but there’s a detail about Void that resolves this issue
Void is described as *omnipresent* which means Void can appear in any dimension as it pleases, and it is implied that Void is the creator of dark matter, so there’s no doubt that Void could just pop into the world as it was being crafted and said “you know what, this world stinks” and spawn in Dark Crafter
I think the reason that the spinoff villains are more successful is because they are part of the plot to explain why the spinoff’s focus gameplay is there in the first place. The spinoffs usually have a certain limitation or limitations that make them different from the main games.
I'm pretty sure the Kirby universe has more than two artists. Just because Adeleine is the only artist with a bigger presence, that does not mean she's responsible for everything art-related.

I like to think that Adeleine previously lived on Earth and was Iskeaied to Planet Popstar through a painting, Not unlike Alice in Wonderland and Dorothy in Oz. She was later adopted by the Artist Witches, whom she got learned how to bring paintings to life. Unfortunately, during the events of The Crystal Shards, she came to Shiver Star on her journey with Kirby and Friends, not realizing that this Snowy and Shivering planet was her homeworld in ruins.
For a long time i always thought Adeline was male. But when i first read her description in Kirby Star Allies it blew my mind.
when vividria is just a few years younger than the other sisters and was painter later on into paintria and drawcia’s lives but got put up for adoption
Maybe Claycia got possessed when they were sculpting seventopia but acted normal and ruled that world with Elline for a while and then turned on Elline later

Something I'm surprised wasn't mentioned, Drawcia was the first soul boss and most of the other soul bosses appear to copy most of her moveset. Which... Pretty interesting lore wise. It also may confirm she was made when Adeline was possessed by Dark Matter since almost all of Void Termina attacks are her Soul moves and the fact that Dark Matter originates from Void Termina.

Necrodius was by far the closest, essentially destroying all but the tiniest speck of the pink puffball.
And he didn’t stop at that, transitioning between areas shows the death god killing off all but one price of Kirby each time. Dude was relentless.
And if you lose all your kirbies in that game it shows his soul flying to the light in a game over scene. Keep in mind every other game Kirby just falls asleep.
I think that Vividria is Drawcia and Paintra's youngest sister because if you say all three of there names that sound quite similar and they all kind of look alike
Bastron was said to be a cruise ship before it became a battleship in the events of Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, and Elline's diary shows them creating a Cotta, so I think Seventopia was around before Dark Crafter possessed her, or at least enough of a portion for it to still be a world that they rule together.
So, claycia isn't a sister, but more say a friend of the 3 painting sisters, or at least she would have some relationship to the sisters aside from the -ia thing she has

What if Elline discovered Claycia had "Gone a big cuckoo" because Claycia while possessed made Drawcia and Paintra, Elline only realising her mistake after painting them.
Nintendo really needs to make a Switch port/remake of Rainbow Curse, for handheld mode only.
They could honestly give a classic kirby-mode for docked. Though I see it more as a patch-possibility than something in the basegame because it would likely require major redesigns and push back a portrelease at least one or two years.

It's likely that Dark Crafter was made as a servant of Void Termina and he stole all the colours so that there would be none to stop him
Hi there I just wanna say a theory I had in mind. I think that star dream was used to seal termina as all his attacks have pink hearts used in them which is part of the seal of the jamba hearts I know there isn’t enough info to proof this but I think that star dream was either used by a hero of yore of was one of them

Everyone assumes shiver star is in a nuclear winter, but I doubt it. With all the magic shannanagins that go on, they probably just froze themselves by accident and had to go because it was unpleasant.

Theory: dark matter was unable to posses people at the time because he needed a form. So, using some sort of telepathy, he convinced Claycia to sculpt a form from clay and the reason dark crafter has the color is from the color claycia drained from the seven worlds

I am gonna explain the powers of elline and claycia I will start with elline
She can make color that can empower objects
That is pretty much it now time for Claycia
She can sculpt powerful objects
She can take color from objects and give it back
I can remember the time when star allies was new and adeleine was nowhere to be found. I then concluded that vividria was supposed to be a drawing of her just so that there is a reference to her in a meta-sense. She actively draws stuff from Kirby 64 onwards afterall and it would also have consistancy with the way she is younger than the twins that we fought as bosses. She would have only been drawn after 64 ended.
Though, that seems less likely after Adeleine proper has been patched into the game.
Also, I think dark crafter is supposed to follow colorrules. Pure Black is either the absense of color or a mixture of many diffrent colors, similar to pure white, you are just supposed to have more color variety. The color actually looks like some kind of shield considering it was not there originally and color in rainbowcurse is equal to lifeenergy. After there is barely any left, dark crafter goes down in one more hit. It would be like if Dark matter absorbed every lifeform to get more energy, though that would probably be too heavy for a game like that to get to the west.

1:45 judging by the latest kirby game (forgotten land) it is possible she could be one of the last surviving humans. She's probably never even set foot on planet earth, perhaps some humans also fled to dreamland after the invasion. However she doesn't seem to have any family or human friends so I'm not entirely sure. Maybe a future game will elaborate
