Will this frame work for Richardson structure hats? They are stiffer and I have multiple customers who request them. How does it work for the 3D puff designs
This looks so easy but I already have the 7 in 1 Fast Frames. I just looked online and they also make a similar hat hoop attachment. Have you used the FF hat hoop? Does it work as well as Durkee? Thanks for any info!! I appreciate all of your very informative videos!
I do not have the fast frames any longer. I only have the Durkee EZ frames. I did a comparison video a while back comparing the 2 types. The Durkee are far superior to me. The EZ frames are lighter in weight yet firmer in their construction leading to less bounce. I am not sure what fast frames has for caps. Hi! I took a photo of the back of the hat. Then loaded the photo into my software (Embrilliance Enthusiast) and created the curved text around the arch of the photo of the hat. I hope that makes sense :)
What I love most about this frame is that I can stitch a design that is much larger in height than I can with my traditional cap frame. Thanks so much for watching! 💕
@CreativeAppliques any true industrial do. Brother/Babylock are not true industrial but hobbies machines. Their 10 needle msrp is more then my Japanese made 15 needle industrial machine.
This video is addressed to multi needle machine users not just commercial machines. There are multi needle machines that do not come with the cap hooping system. And there are people who own commercial machines but will not touch their cap system because it has a huge learning curve. I am simply sharing info on a great frame I found. Thanks for watching! 💕
I have this hoop and I’ve looked at several tutorials on how to use this hoop. Yours is the BEST one that I’ve seen! 🎉 Thank you so much! 🤗
You are so welcome! Thanks so much for watching! 💕
Well done Dawn!
Thank you so much Maryjean! Truly appreciate it! 💕

Thank you 😀
Dawn how did you get the right curve for the back of the hat.

This hoop is great for unstructured hats. I have one. But if you need to do structured hats, you need the hat hoop.
I can do these designs on my hat hoop. I need to do structured hats and this frame will not allow me to do them. I wish it did.

@@CreativeAppliques true. The bigger stitching area would be nice.
All commercial embroidery machines I looked at included hat hoops and drivers.
It depends on the brand and the type. Not all multi needle machines include the cap hooping system. Some are an additional purchase.

Brother/Babylock also does not include the hat drivers/hoop which also adds to the cost.

I still won't attempt a traditional hat hooping system on my multi needle. I make my husband do it. Very intimidating to use.
The traditional cap systems are intimidating. This Durkee EZ frame is so easy to use. I love it! Thanks for watching!
