- Welcome to my knitting podcast in English 🤎!
I'm coming to you from the Netherlands and my English is far from perfect. But hey ... isn't it all about the knitting and crochet?! So I'll give it a try and hope that some practice gives me more confidence. I enjoy all the inspiration in the worldwide knitting community so much and I would love to share mine with you.

Please continue your podcasts! You are a delight!
Your English is just fine. Thank you so much for an English podcast.
You are definitely not the only one with way too much yarn. I always say that I am a yarn collector more than a knitter 😂😂. I just want you to know that when I watch you struggle to find a word, I shout out the correct words - it’s fun actually❤. You are an absolute delight to watch.
Your perfectionism I hope isn’t getting in the way of your enjoyment of doing these podcast. Your green sweater looks really good on you I’m glad you got to keep it for yourself. And the baby booties are darling. See you next week
Hi, Sarah. I enjoyed this episode as I have your previous ones. I understand your frustration with the grammar and knowing the proper vocabulary - however, rest assured, you are doing very well. Thank you for taking the time and effort to offer your podcasts in English - it is much appreciated. I loved your baby socks - so cute!
So excited for the Stephen West MKAL! Only the 2nd time for me as well. Your English is fine..... we totally understand what you're trying to say. Don't stress about it. Very grateful you do one in English!
Your English is fine. You may not pronounce every word perfectly but I understand everything you’re saying. It’s part of your charm. Love your podcast!
I really enjoy your videos. I can understand your English very well. Don't be so hard on yourself. Your knitting is wonderful! 😍 Watching from From New York City.
I know that I don’t have to say that your English is perfectly fine, but really, it IS! Please do not stop doing the podcast in English. Yours is my ABSOLUTE favorite knitting podcast and I will be so sad if you give it up! I look forward to it every week. Of course, you should do whatever is best for you, but for your viewers (especially this one) I love listening to your Dutchy English. ❤
Hi there, as always a wonderful podcast 🥰 I think what you are talking about is Reflexology with massaging your feets Meridian points.
I love how your sweater came out. Your sitting room looks so comfy. It looks like the perfect place to knit or crochet. Have a wonderful week!
Thank you Eileen 🥰
I get so excited when I see a new episode from you! You are adorable and I understand you perfectly. I have had shoulder issues a couple of times and my doctor told me it's called frozen shoulder. Each time, I got a cortisone injection, and the pain is gone within a day. I first try exercises too, but after a while, the pain is too much. I hope you found some relief with the massage, Sarah!!! Your sweater is lovely on you and I'm looking forward to seeing how you get along with Rebecca's pattern!!
Your Stephen-West-Shawl is so beautiful and looks so good on you! 🤩 I‘m joining the first time in the MKAL and I’m so excited 🤗
Neither of my babies slept through the night either. My second wanted to nurse every two hours round the clock! So nice of you to help your friend. She is very lucky
Hahaha … here too! That’s why I understand her feelings so good 🙃
You are definitely not alone with the yarn addiction.. I think every time I say I have enough it's like a trigger and I need to buy more 😂
I also just made myself sit down and focus on one knitting project because I couldn't stop thinking about all the things I wanted to cast on.. I absolutely feel the need to cast on all the things, as you said.
Watching your episode calmed me down and made me feel much better about feeling so crazy haha
I have that same pain in my shoulder but I have not connected it to knitting, but rather my sleep position. I typically sleep on my left side (same side as the pain) because my husband is on the other side. A chiropractor will be able to help.
Loooove your shoes!!!!
Thank you Nora 🥰
Your vocabulary and syntax are excellent, and your accent is delightful. Past and present verb tenses are all you need to work on Wish I could speak Dutch as well as you speak English. Keep at it. It won’t take you much longer. Reading a well-respected American newspaper will help, if you don’t mind getting depressed. nycSox
May I suggest an American book instead of a newspaper. American news is just too depressing in my opinion 😭
Thank you Carla 🥰! Reading in English is a perfect idea 🤍
O yes … I will read a lovely book in English 🥰
Your knitting is always so inspiring! I love it when I see there’s a new episode of your podcast. It’s so nice to knit and watch and hear what you are up to! Thank you 🧡
The Word Is Reflexology 👣Lovely Podcast
Thank You Sarah 🧡
Hi Sarah, I hope the massage fixes your shoulder but your description sounds like you might have a frozen shoulder. This fixes itself but takes a very long time. Otherwise you get an injection into your shoulder joint which takes away the pain. In any case, good luck with it!
Great episode. :). I enjoyed listening and seeing your knits. I think your English will keep improving as you continue to do more podcasts.
Love your podcast! Thank you !!! ❤️🐑❤️🐑❤️
Love your podcast. I wish I could speak multiple languages (or even understand my “Oma” and “Mutte” language like I used to when they were both with me and spoke their native tongue). I never appreciated the skill until it was gone. I may have to start listening to podcasts in German and maybe i would improve some. Thank you for taking the time to put this English version of the podcast together for us to enjoy!
Love your podcast , love your color choices, love your stories 👋thank you and I wish you all the best
Sarah, you're far too hard on yourself. Your English is excellent. Don't stress over it.
😄😄😄😄 I know the "fall" feeling
🍁🙃🙈
Hi Sarah. Another lovely podcast. Your Anker sweater looks great. I know you love browns but that green look so nice. I made one last year. Your English is wonderful. A few minor blips here and there but nothing that prevents viewers from understanding what you are trying to communicate. I'm going to send you a DM on Instagram to give you a suggestion. Thanks for continuing to podcast your projects. Cheers
Ciasbod struggled with her English in the beginning too. I think you are too hard on yourself. Perhaps what you are thinking/wanting to say is more complex than what you do end up saying, but that will come with time. In the meantime, I understand you completely and enjoy what you are sharing with me. Again, I thank you for producing a video in English. I do not speak any other language and have much gratitude to those who make two podcasts to accommodate those with limited language skills.
O thank you Edina. I have to be more patient and will start reading in English 🤍
Hi Sarah, I love your colour pallete and your outlook on life. Re your English, it is just fine! I think it just annoys you that you are less fluent than your native tongue, just practice and it will bother you less. It doesn't bother me at all. Much love from Shetland xxx
Just looks like you are having a video conference with a friend😊
That’s true 😅
Do you have osteopaths, something like massage therapists. I got relief with no exercises.I also want all the yarn but I’m realizing I need to get more than 1of each.
When today’s appointment doesn’t work out I will check that one. Thank you Hilda 🥰
Hi Sarah, my daughter went to England for one year now, and every time the telephone rings, I hope, it is not one of her teachers, because having an English conversation is so scary for me🫣anyway, you are doing very well in my opinion.🫶and I had a lot of shoulder problems last year , sounds very similar. It became worse and worse and the nights were horrible. In the end it was some kind of inflammation which resulted in a frozen shoulder, in German it is called Kapselentzündung, and it needed a cortisone injection to get better. I am crossing my fingers, it will get better soon, because it hurts so much. 🤞
