Man Who Made Threats Against Biden Shot Dead in FBI Raid

- A 75-year-old man was shot dead in a deadly FBI raid at his home in Provo, Utah. The FBI raid came after Craig Robertson spent months peppering social media with lurid threats against President Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Attorney General Merrick Garland and other Democratic party leaders. He described himself on social media as a "MAGA Trumper." The FBI says Robertson also threatened Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, who is prosecuting Donald Trump.
Moral of the story; Never make death threats against anyone, especially against political figures, even if you don’t like them.
I was 15 wrote a school essay threatening George Bush's life as a joke. 2 hours later a cop was at my door and secret service called my mom.
They told me "write your perfect day" . My friends and I were edge lords, and rebellious(we were popular for that.) So we kept trying to top eachother. I won.😂
I got expelled. 2 months later got expelled from second school for a stupid cartoon of Jesus with a baby sandwich saying "Jesus eats babies".
The principle was a VERY RELIGIOUS black woman and asked me "Do you believe our lord and savior ate babies?!?!"
Of coarse I said " idk I never met the guy. He might of. He's been 💀 for 2000 years.. Jesus Christ if coarse I don't. It was a joke."
This was 2004.
(Yes kiddos humor in 2004 was very "edgy". B4 all these pol became too sensitive and babies.)

Threatening to kill someone is insane. Doesnt matter how angry I am or how much I don't like someone, I don't wish them harm. As a gun owner and 2A supporter, guns should only be used as a *last resort* for self defense against threats both foreign or domestic, for hunting, or for sport/competitive shooting.

He was 75. The primary caregiver to his adult son who is blind. He was 300 lbs and couldn’t walk more than a quarter mile. He lived an hour away from the site of the VA Hospital where there was a presidential visit.
So brave of the FBI to get out in front of this serious threat.

Did he deserve to be sent some where to get help or be under surveillance? Yes. Did he deserve to be killed for making comments? No. I personally believe the government went to far. Unless he was armed during the raid, then that’s understandable, it if he wasn’t, that’s plain out murder on the FBIs side. Instead the FBI should have gassed the house and detained him for information/consequences. This could have easily been avoided but I believe the FBI just wanted to “dust” him off their list of worries so they simply killed him. The government apparently holds larger values to money and time rather than another persons life who possibly needed help. This is very sad, but at least it will serve as a deterrent to other extremists.
