    With so many chunky Roach in there it's no wonder the Pike are doing well in Derwent Reservoir.

    I thought Derwent Res was a fly only trout fishery... Has this changed? Great net of Roach and top tips :-)

      @TackleguruTV  3 года назад +1

      Hi, Derwent Res has been open to coarse fishing for a long time. They hold regular matches on the venue. If you're interested in fishing on there make sure you contact the res directly and purchase a day ticket in the cabin.

      I live 10 min away from it and fished it since I was a little kid, for the trout it's always been fly and bait, I don't fly fish I've always used feeder for the trout

    Lemonade?? You can just use water..

    • @TackleguruTV
      @TackleguruTV  3 года назад

      Lemonade has more gas/air and the maggots take on this air quicker with lemonade. You can add water, nut it takes a lot longer for the maggots to float this way.

      Enjoyed the video having watched it for the 3rd time 😂 .....my kind of fishing all day long ....👍....needed to watch it 3 times because just to take in all the content...which I felt was a bit rushed 🥴

      @@iantitchard5099 Hi Ian, thank you for your feedback. However, we broke this down into several Bitesize sections as always. We don't feel it was rushed at all and Frankie explained all the info in detail at a smooth pace. Thank you for your feedback though. All the best.

    All this distance and stop watch business is garbage. I have fished many venues up North in waters like that. I'm old school and we caught loads. Modern anglers love to make course fishing complicated. It ain't.

      Hi, thanks for your comment. Sounds like you're very happy and confident with your fishing... that's brilliant. All the best.
