- In the spring of 1985, a real killer from Brooklyn burst onto the scene, one of the most gifted heavyweights in history, according to many boxing fans. He very quickly made his way through the entire division of heavyweights and knocked out everyone, one by one. The fighter possessed an excellent attack style, elusive speed and ruthless killer instinct, which has no equal to this day. Iron Mike Tyson. Today we will show you the most brutal and aggressive knockouts of the legendary Iron Mike.

I met Mike at a book signing in NY, I said “I’d like to thank you champ, the only time I can remember my entire family gathering around a tv together was for one of your fights”, he said “that’s cool man” nonchalantly as he signed my book. then I said “ ya, it was the best 30 seconds of family time ever” and he about lost it 😂

He finally found peace inside himself.

@@raulrodriguez5073 Definitely. Some fighters in this video, had no business in the ring, let alone with Tyson. Of course this is typical when a notable up and coming fighter gets going. The powers that be certainly want to arrange fights with favourable out comes.
Tyson was awesome though. He could hurt with a body shot like almost no other. Most people don't mention it but he could bob and weave so well and always kept his hands where they should be! The fighters that leave an opening always got their bell rung.
I still rank Ali in his prime as tops, but I was a big Tyson fan before he went of the rails.
That exchange at 5:45 is one of the best examples of boxing skill ever. Tyson's incredible defense followed by one sharp calculated blow sending Gross to the mat boxing perfection.
And WILDER says he could beat a prime MIKE TYSON
LOL.
Yeah, Tyson could have carried his corner out on his shoulders and still beat up the 2-3 heavyweight contenders that would be lined up in the ring.
Cant even beat a Bum TYSON fury, much less the true holder of the name
We know thats not true..Tyson would destroy him first round knock out.
EPH EPH lol wilder cant even beat his pre fight costumes 😂😂
Mostly everyone lost to Mike Tyson before the fight even started.
He's almost a foot shorter than some of the heavy weight boxers he beat to a pulp. True ferocity.
Height means nothing. It's all about technique and a bit of power/speed.
@@poweredbygarri1 If height meant nothing then there would be a much greater spread of heavyweight heights. However, there are not. Height and reach are massive advantages in almost every sport and particularly in boxing. Tyson was a freak of nature; full of fast-twitch fibers and with a massive frame to accommodate his muscle mass.
Mike Tyson breaks your theory but cool. Reach and height are tools. Technique and timing are massive. Evander Holyfield also breaks a Theory
@@poweredbygarri1 Holyfield is 6'2 near 6'3, Mike was around 5'10; a full 4-5 inches shorter. As mentioned, Tyson was an exception due to his incredible athleticism, build and drive.

There is not enough I can say about Mike Tyson without getting emotional. Boxing has been my life for over 40 years and I simply love the sport like I love my own kids. I've witnessed some of the greatest Heavyweights ever in my lifetime and what I can say is that I've never seen any Heavyweight as unique as Mike Tyson. The world has never seen anyone like him before or after him. The speed, the ferociousness, the accuracy, the athleticism, the elusiveness......no one, no one matches Tyson.
There's a reason why the world is still so fond of Tyson even to this day and there's a reason why he was the youngest Heavyweight champion ever - Mike Tyson was unique and personally, it was an honour and a pleasure to witness him in my lifetime. What a fighter, what a legend!!
What I always implore his critics is, never judge Tyson's place in Heavyweight history on his post-prison career when 4 long years of inactivity destroyed the most wonderful fighting machine we've ever witnessed in our lifetime.
During the early 90's: I met Mike Tyson twice in Las Vegas...both times I yelled,"Hey CHAMP!"...and both times Mike Tyson acknowledged me with a smile. The 1st meeting was at a car dealership(Mike paid cash for a Chevy Corvette). IRON MIKE in his prime can take anyone, anytime, past present and future.... THERE WILL NEVER BE ANYONE LIKE IRON MIKE TYSON!!! We love you Mike... always will brother 😎
Ali in his PRIME would knock him out in the 8th round
Holyfield?
@@s.sarjonmahmud6231 No doubt Ali would land several jabs. But after a few blows from Tyson, Ali would struggle. In the end, I believe Tyson would come out on top. Look at what Tyson did to Larry Holmes! Yes Larry was 38 at the time of their fight, but he was still a top-notch challenger! Personally, I consider Holmes, on a good day, to be every bit as good as Ali. His boxing stats prove this!

Lol
hes so fast he was even moving his head to collide with theirs as they would fall after he had hit them, so smart.
I caught that too... simply amazing!

terrible end screen suggestions which were covering the video, video left unfinished, incorrect (timings) and misspelled timestamps on the video, misnaming jameson and calling him tyson, there is a whole list of why this video gets a dislike, how long did editing and script writing take? 30 seconds?
I was very young and the information on Tyson from Germany was always, somehow, distant. But I remember him as a great sportsman with pretty much control over himself. His appearance was frightening but he immediately stopped punching when the opponent struggled. And then something happened with Mike ...?

Bruh Donnie long has the widest spread guard I've ever scene. It's like he was asking to get punched in the face the entire match.
lol iknow right mike tyson was the only guy that knew how to fight xd
Seriously, i feel like he was trying to prove something.
Reminds me of Glass Joe from the Mike Tyson game lol.
In retrospect we can all really see and witness how truly great of a boxer Tyson was. People used to say back in the day that he was just a puncher and he fought a bunch of bums. He fought guys that were way bigger and heavier than him. He was a small heavyweight, his speed power and boxing style could not be challenged. He is in my mind the best ever!!
I'd say Ali is the best ever but Tyson's up there
In retrospect he never had a big career defining victory. He cleared out an aging middle of the road division of the late 80's and is a top 10 to 15 all time heavy weight. He isn't the best and he isn't top 5. Mike needed a big win against another great fighter close to their prime. His career defining victories are over Spinks and an older Larry Holmes. Not enough. That's really the retrospective on Mike. He sure was exciting though.
@@DoggieNYC Mike in his prime could of beat any boxer I can think of. I mean for example Wilder would get knocked out in first round.
@@thechad3239 How would you know ? Based on what ? Because he beat Tony Tucker and Trevor Berbick ? We really have nothing to go on except that he wasnt unbeatable, he dominated a weak division and never beat another great fighter. Wilders pretty inconsequential to the argument.
@@thechad3239 But I do agree an 85 to 88 Tyson was capable of beating any HW ever, I just have my doubts on whether he would have or not. Does he beat Ali, Joe Frazier, Foreman ? These are all great great fighters. Tyson never got in the ring against fighters of that ilk and when he did, he lost. It's all speculation so we can only go on what he did accomplish and the defining victory of his prime years was vs Michael Spinks.
he seems to be quite an ethical fighter, he doesn't keep punching after knock down, and even helped one stand up
He would get arrested if he hit them while they're down. It's against the rules of boxing. This is not mma
Unless he's hungry and wants your ear
People of the world the Malenin people of the world are the best in everything they do guys regardless and nevertheless we are the best,as we the imventors of everything in this world like it ir not we are period IGHT
Man you can say whatever you want about Tyson, but he made a lot of tough dudes look they couldn't whip cream with an off board motor.
@dennis martin lol Like Donny Long. He looked like he had business in there with Mike.
When Cus D'Amato died, that was the beginning of the end for Tyson.
Indeed. Tragic, really.
Imagin is career if ...
ditto , all i have to say................
Cus d'Amato did a gift to Mike his retirement even Iron Mike didn't know $250.000 yearly that's save his life today great respect for Cus may he rest in his eternal Glory.
Yep, that's when Don King moved in and poisoned his mind and fucked up his training and coaching. After that he basically stopped boxing and tried to rush straight in on everyone which didn't work out well. He should have stuck with Kevin Rooney, he would have had another good 5 years of dominance if he did.
