Man is doing it wrong! I always play guitar with a real instrument (flute, not sticks), and Fender is properly connected to tons of plugs and recorded to mac studio! Wired with proper interface (your fault Sanjay) 😂 Cheers, dudes!
All gear makers need to design & release zero latency wireless gear (monitors, headphones, keyboards, guitars, drum pads small like offgrid by birdkids &/or bigger with notable analog circuitry like MPC 3000) features like mpe, large touch screen displays, latest midi, sliders, standalone &/or works seamlessly with Kontakt.
Your videos are so inspiring. I love your creative, thinking outside of the box attitude...playing guitar with sticks. What a beautiful place to stay and create music!
For me, the rule of music production I set for myself is that music should be created from a laptop, I don't have one so that's easily broken, but I just use my phone to make great music, also the camera work, pretty amazing👍✨
This vid is such a great reminder that we do not need to be trapped indoors, plus the tech has clearly grown to meet our needs, super vid skills too my dude 🤘🔥
The timing of this video is crazy! I was just thinking about buying a power station for my iLoud Micro monitors so I can be with the goats and dogs like you … lol. Nice to know these tech companies are listening! My rule is producing with a midi controller. Sometimes I’m in a tight space that won’t let me take a lot of equipment and I hate drawing in my notes on the midi editor. I recently realized how I limit myself from producing in certain situations.
Soundscape Goats! ❤ do you mean breaking? there is only the only rule - play when it hits you! 90% of my tracks conceived or made on iPhone. No controllers. May be OP-Z. Though Korg Gadget is always in the pocket. Some time my tracks get some extra sounds from 4 overly expensive analog synths 😂 Guitar directly connects to the phone too. Nowadays with any of many mobile interfaces under $100. No laptop needed as well. And yes, I also discovered playing guitar with Caribbean pipe flute is phunn. You don’t even need to hit the strings you know. Why limit yourselves? 😅 Great track and inspirational vid, Taetro! I was always enjoying your channel for that exactly hybrid mobile/studio approach. Cheers!
@@Taetro Now have to buy Push 3 as well 😎 rather instead, sold Push 2 and Maschine+. My music piggy bank is not feeling that well, shes still in shock after Moog Model D 🤪
I always (and have always) struggled with patience in producing and creating music. I unrealistically expect a finished product the first time through. Especially when I am creating by myself. I have a feeling I'm not alone. I have the MPK mini+ and an Alesis Strike Pro SE and many other MIDI controllers. I love creating music, but I find myself getting frustrated after a few moments and walking away. I'm working on writing for the trash can. That is, create a song, a pattern, or a vignette and then throw it away. It might be good; it might be cheesy or junk. Throw it away. The act of going through the motions can help get the juices flowing. It's a slow process I'm it's getting better.
I've been watching your videos and other music producer videos as well and I always feel inspired to attempt to make music 🎶. I haven't gotten around to making any music yet but I got myself a Motu M4 audio interface and I'm going to try to get a midi controller as well. Love your videos!
oh wow, I saw your last video and thought the speakers were there just for show as I oldest see and wires haha, got me! this video was so inspiring man, I wish I didn't have to work today, I seem to only get inspired when I have something else to do
Rule 509 Your chill sequencer app moment is reminding me of a Buddha board... like just making something in the moment and then it's gone. Very cathartic and freeing. My one biggest "rule" is a lie, but one that I have such a hard time crossing out... that I have to get it right the first time.
This is awesome, and I've been looking for a similar setup for my Ableton Push 3 Standalone (to play outdoors). The main issue I have is powering the device - have you come across any portable charging solutions that could power the Push?
Great video, not only in the messaging but also the production. With Beatober just around the corner, I'm sure a lot of us would love to hear more about how you film/edit a video like this. The speakers are portable, but your whole video production setup must have been too. I'd love to see some content about 'behind the scenes" production and filming notes. There a lot of little things that aspiring content creators like myself can pick up, such as how you used a montage in the beginning with quick zoomed in frames to suggest a frantic and formulaic writing process. All this build a 'story' and not just a "hey, these speakers are portable... pretty cool right?" video.
I appreciate that! I travel pretty light in terms of gear...I really enjoy documenting my experiences. There is for sure a lot of planning and a bit of scripting involved for something like the intro sequence. I tend to storyboard my ideas ahead of a trip like this, so I know what I want to cover, but then I also let the environment (and goats) guide me. Thank you for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed!
Stoked that I now have these latency free wireless monitors!! GAME CHANGER!!

@SanjayC you “Axed” 🪓 the right question 😁👍🏽 🧀
Michael Jackson once said these sounds all sound the same, go bang on some trash cans and create some new organic real sounds!!
Nice set up but I’d highly suggest getting a laptop stand so Bugz and dirt 🐞 🐛 🐜 don’t get into your expensive Mac 🙅🏾♀️💻

4:20 What a beautiful guitar sound! What are you using? Is it a pedal or software?
im using guitar rig 7!
Beautiful Video, id say its routine for me to stick to my desk at home, in the future, I should try to produce more outside. Inspiring video.
Awesome concept to get the creativity going. Truly no such thing as a "block"!
collabing with the goats! literally living my dream right there

not for everybody for sure!

getting it right the first time! I bet many apply that "rule" to them selves.
I was having a bit of a buddha moment out there 😂
lol definitely not "complete latency free" 5:22
imperceivable latency. I'm making music on it in real time with no issue timing wise. I'd call that latency free. 🤷
This is awesome, and I've been looking for a similar setup for my Ableton Push 3 Standalone (to play outdoors). The main issue I have is powering the device - have you come across any portable charging solutions that could power the Push?
I didn't bring Push on this trip because any LED instrument is amaziing outside. I've been ok with working just on battery and charging
