I’ve just watched the whole series (as well as your music theory series) and I have to say say well done Taetro - I’ve found both really helpful and an excellent way to understand what I thought were very complex subjects. It’s put me on a great foundation for the journey in music that I am just starting. Thank you
I just got Ableton live suite not too long ago and this is a very helpful tip so this is much appreciated. I was just going through my RUclips feed and came across this and it is very very helpful. I have been looking at ways of exporting some of the Things that I have created in Ableton live 12 and was trying to figure out how to record them, so this is very helpful for me as a new Ableton user.
This was such an interesting video for me. And a very different way to create in one way, but exactly the same in another. Generally I dont sit down to make music and just make random stuff. My goal is to make full songs every time I sit down. Which I do. In that creative process, I try alot of various sounds and create all kinds of loops that just dont fit with my song. What I end up with is what I call the "Garbage Pile" although its not garbage. This extra stuff I put aside and save, always ends up going into the next song. Or you could say, every song I make, has some discarded element that is the next song. It was weird for me at first to hear that you just create random music, not in the this is bad way. But in the way that its just so foreign to me to do that. However when I thought about it we actually do the same thing, just in a different way. Always interesting to see where everyone draws their creativity from. Gotta say, this series you put together here has increased my music quality in very professional ways, thank you so much for that!! You are truly a natural teacher of this!!
do you guys know when there'll be taetro's next melodics bootcamp? forgot to sign up for the april one, but would really like to join. any info would help:)
Dang man how you know what all them little buttons and geegaws do, i mean for me this stuff is about as easy as pissing up a rope, for real man, if you put my brains in a bumblebee, it'd fly backwards

Nice one, weird serendipity. I have literally just finished a session using a lot of resampling
it’s a quick way to get really creative!
