As a faithful single Mom who raised 5 children on my disability payments, with no alimony and almost no child support, I no longer believe that Jesus wanted me to pay 10% of my disability income while my children and I went without. Thank you for your well-researched and compassionate video.
But the church also does so much for it's members.... I remember when I was homeless the church paid my security deposit and 3 months rent for me. Where do you think they get that money from? They also gave me food and clothes as well
I was privileged years ago to work at the enormous downtown mall slash mega condo complex. particularly in bldg 5. These were high end luxury condos going at the time for $350,000 a pop. Everyone there knew the church was paying A LOT of money for this and the general consensus was the church wanted to maintain it's high end real estate holding on the downtown area and avoid another GATEWAY. The Gateway was at the time failing venture to revitalize the west end part of town by the Old Rio Grande building. The irony is they stole several key tenants away from gateway who wanted to anchor at the new CITY CREEK and helped push the Gateway further into the red. We were told money was no object and to bill as much as we could. It was insane. It almost seemed like the church was this huge MEGA CORPORATION interested only in PROFITS.

I left church almost a year ago when I found out about tithing by newsweek and make me angry.. also other reason too I feel that the leadership keeps secrets.. it caused the members confused.. thanks again..

@@darrylkirky Lots of contradictions (in bible and bom) seemingly, so I understand. But sometimes they're more nuances, semantics too. (I get it) Sometimes its knowledge is not always black or white (but more in layers or parables). 613 laws are alot to remember! (I heard that was more of a "tradition" - to help keep the Jewish people in check in the time of Moses, then carried down) But maybe they took it "too far" to the right. So when Christ came he told them it's really more about the "spirit" of the law - than the letter. As per keeping the commandments, from what I know we have to strive to do our best (but no one is going to be perfect). As long as we are doing our best (Jesus covers the rest)! Excellent.. thanks Nemo. Love all your hard work investigation and truth videos. God bless. Lds leaders owe it to everyone who pays tithes a monthy statement as to exactly where tithes are going. Itemized ... . Truth be told.
@nemo the Mormon When the pandemic hit, many more people needed food from the church welfare/Bishops storehouse's. The LDS Church did exactly what you state in this video. I helped a Sister pick up her food at the Salt Lake Bishops Storehouse in the pandemic. They downgraded the food to the least healthy and cheapest- instead of broccoli, cucumbers, and peppers, it was celery. Celery and carrots only. These were really the only vegetable they offered. The Sister in the ward investigated why the vegetables and fruits offered had virtually no nutritional value. Why was the food downgraded? The LDS Church response: "More people need the food now, so with less expensive food we can feed more people." Prime example, they didn't use our "Rainey Day Fund," the just gave lower quality and less nutritious food. Tightened their belt. Even though she had paid the tithing in the first place.
I am diabetic and can't eat certain foods. The food at the bishop storehouse is the lowest quality, eggs were always broken, dairy products expired within two days and the frozen meat were always freezer burned. I explained this to my bishop who told me to quit complaing he didn't care, he said if you weren't overweight you wouldn't have diabetes. He lectured me for ten minutes so I got up and left. Never went back. Since I am not rich no one ever called me to see where I was. Went to the Methodist Church where they helped pay my rent and gave me fresh food and didn't make me feel guilty asking for help.

I work in agriculture and used to live on a tomato farm near the church’s ranch in Florida. The 100 billion investment does not include the billions in land and businesses the church owns. The ranch alone was hundreds of thousands of acres.
Sorry I didn’t want to exaggerate. It is 500000 homes. www.theguardian.com/cities/2017/jan/30/from-book-to-boom-how-the-mormons-plan-a-city-for-500000-in-florida
They own two pieces of property in Florida now equaling out to almost 7 to 800,000 acres between the two. Here in Florida the one they just bought up around the panhandle around Pensacola Tallahassee Florida 389,000 acres or 398,000 one of the two.
Check out the new name of this church. The Corporation of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Becoming a corporation is a tax shelter snd makes it more difficult to be sued. The id a group of X church members who are developing a class action suit to have their returned. It makes me ashamed and surely Christ himself ver disappointed.
Can you explain what happened to the RLDS church that 9:46 Emma Smith continued in when she refused to head to Utah with Bringham Young? I knew people from this church who wanted to be recognized as a religion but it’s members had to denounce The BOM. I’m not sure but they might be called Church of Christ. @@tse93s Yes.. that's a possibility. I know of a few people , including myself who were not 'honest in all their/my dealings' - a question given me prior to issued a recommend. My active granddaughters were talking about the invasive bishop interviews and they admitted that most of their friends lie to their bishops. They teach them young to lie.
When the Mormon Church provided a response to the allegations of stockpiling 100 BILLION dollars tax free, I was blown away! Their official response to why they needed that kind of money stockpiled (tax free mind you) was: We need it for Jesus' Second Coming. If you think I am full of it, I don't blame you. However, one quick Google search should blow your mind. I won't even provide commentary as to why their response was pathetic because you know why. :)
Good for you for speaking up. Sunlight is a great disinfectant. The church leadership could and should open their financial records to their members. That should include stipends paid to leadership which now is rumored to be around $200k USD for those in the quorum of the twelve. To quote Frank Zappa "There's a difference between kneeling down and bending over."
Being a corporation, I wonder where revelation from God justifies its servants from escaping income taxation. Must be that the Church is something like the NFL which also, from what I've heard, escapes IRS taxation for some reason.
You can't become a God unless you give the church ten percent of your income and if they didn't have so much money the general authorities wouldn't get so many free trips.
Mormon Rainy Day is now. Pay Bishops and Stake Presidents the equivalent of what CES teachers make. Not having a professionally trained clergy is taking its toll. I know many protestant ministers that do a better job to tend their flock. Yep, the burnout is 6 years. Have the Bishops get transferred and give them a sabbatical leave. Train the Bishops in how to counsel with the word of God like true Christian Counselors do. Maybe the divorce rate would go down. Maybe the Church would actually grow. I hesitate to introduce the gospel to any of my neighbors since they are treated better at their own houses of worship. Why attend a local congregation where people don't care whether you live or die? The TV show Cheers is a better enviornment than some of the UT wards. Atleast it is where everyeone knows your name, and they are glad you came.
Please brother, don’t miss the mark! Hevenly Father lives on the planet nigh unto kolob. “ Thus, it came to past, that those seeking the kingdom of God, by their own (generation ship) design, fell one planet short of Gods abode, thus leaving them forever bound to the lesser glory of kolob.”
If you take donors' money, you should be transparent about finances to donors. Simple as that. Was the church transparent about their finances to their donors? Was the $100billion transparently revealed to the donors?
You still pay tithing? I stopped even before I became inactive. I realized that I was doing my part for the church, but the church didn't do its part for me, so our "agreement" was annulled.
Listening to these men make me sick to my stomach! They count the volunteer hours that we contributed as far as their charitable donation! That is the biggest fattest lie

Great commentary again, thank you. This is the thing that rubs so many people the wrong way. Since I lost faith, I've been asked by a close family member "why are you so obsessed with money?" I think many Mormons feel this way to people who have lost faith. It's not that we necessarily need the money. But just that the money could be used in more appropriate ways. It doesn't really matter what "more appropriate" means to you. What matters is- it's your money. You've earned it. So you have the right to know where it's going, and you should have the right to voice your concern or to relinquish it when you're not happy about how it is used.
Do you have a right to know what a homeless person did with your money (if you give them money)? Do you have a right to know exactly what the government has done with your money? Do you have a right to know what someone has done with your gifts (that you spent money & time to earn)?
When I give money to the homeless, I know that there's a chance that it's used for purposes that I'm not so cool with. But I give them the money knowing that risk, it's a gift, it's no longer mine. Same with a gift, it's no longer mine and I give it to a person freely. But the government? Yes. I absolutley should have the right to know what they're doing with that money. The money I pay to the government is not a gift. They're meant to use it for specific things and if they're not doing that, I absolutley have the right to know.
@@LibRoseITM when you give a donation (i.e. gift) to the Church it is also a gift and you get a tax deduction for it. Also, you never truely know where your money goes in government. 100 Billion dollars is definitely too much for the rainiy days. it is more of greedy and not about the pure love of Christ. If Jesus Christ are here, He would have ordered to use the money right away to feed the hungry people worldwide.
Martin Luther and the Protestant Reformation in 1517 challenged the greatest institution at the time, that was very wealthy as well. The Bottom Line: The insitution does not care about its people it only cares about its longevity.
some people make great sacrifices to tithe. why? so the church leadership can live in luxury and some spoiled brats don't have to pay much to go to BYU.
I am curious, renovations are happening around the Salt Lake temple,... who is paying the bill? It is a beautiful landmark and is deserving of preservation, but how much is being spent?
Lisa Adams well, $2 Million is being spent turning one of the floors of church headquarters into a meeting place for the Q15 so they can meet on Thursdays... so I hate to think how much is going into the temple itself!
Although I have replaced my last "Bull Shit" monitor because it vaporized with your last video watched, my new, "industrial strength" B.S. monitor's needle is spinning like a pinwheel with this one . . . it will not end on a positive note.
I feel that tithing is from the heart and I have always given it as such. I have seen several blessings from giving tithing. So whether the church is right or wrong I think the blessings are given according to where your heart is. Many years ago I gave my last five dollars as a tithing donation and the very next day the neighbor from up the road came to our house and offered me five dollars a day to help her clean house. That was just one of those blessings. For this reason I will always willingly pay my tithing and leave it in God's hands.
"Everyone should live within their means." So, if for someone to live within their means they have to stop paying tithing, does that mean the church will still let this person into the temple? Or will they give them the crap about "pay your tithing first and everything will fall into place", and then deny them access to the temple for not paying?
They do NOT let you in the temple if you can't pay tithing. When I was in that situation my rich bishop called us in and tried to make us feel guilty. I thank God now for making it so I did not make my kids lives miserable while I was in the church by putting the church first. It is a bloodsucking religion. They want all your money, time and resources you find out when you go to the temple. This makes it a cult. Also by not being able to question things they do makes it a cult.
I'm trying to remember the prophet who said..''..the time will come when we no longer need to tithe our members...'' can anybody help me out? I think that time has come and is still current.
@@NEMOTHEMORMON Thank you Nemo. I thought it was Joseph F Smith. Just wasn't sure. He said there would be no need to tithe the members at all. Having read the whole article on the redistributor of tithing, I now agree to sign the petition. As long as it's left up to the church member to put their tithing into a charity of their choice.
Does the church leadership ever read the bible? Matthew 25 31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. With so many people in need, and knowing what Jesus taught about helping the poor, this $100 billion slush fund is obscene. They need to take Jesus' name out of the church's name because they definitely are not practicing what he preached. The church leadership is a wretched bunch!
Smith, April 1907: "...we expect to see the day when we will not have to ask you for one dollar of donation for any purpose... because we will have tithes sufficient in the storehouse of the Lord to pay everything that is needful for the advancement of the kingdom of God...." This is Joseph F Smith in 1907. It would seem clear by your video that we are at that day but the church continues to instruct tithing before feeding your children. These very well dressed men are bearing testimony and patting the church on the back for exceptional money management skills, sitting in a finely furnished office while still requiring the widows mite. The hypocrisy is strong.
@nemo the Mormon A Sister in the ward said the quality and nutritional value of the food at the LDS Church food distribution centers worldwide called 'Bishop Storehouses' has plummeted drastically. Their Chicken 'Flavored' Soup has ZERO chicken (read the ingredient label); their Pork & Beans, impossible to find any pork; their formerly delicious canned turkey chunks are now cat food grade ground bits of turkey, possibly turkey by-product (disgusting in taste and texture), literally like cat food to her. No rainy day fund, just provide the worst food possible. Maybe they don't want people to enjoy the food, dissuade them from coming back again in future.

@@NEMOTHEMORMON I didn't know. Do you still pay tithing knowing that it's not going to the best cause? They kind of hold you hostage with your temple recommend. I'd love to pick your brain.
I’m currently in the process of trying to renew my recommend, however it might prove difficult as I stopped paying tithing directly to the church when I found out about Ensign Peak!
One hundred billion dollars just sitting in some account in case the church might need it?? And each and every member of the church is still expected to give 10% of their monthly income or they won't receive the ultimate blessings that the church offers?? Now does this sound like something that God would authorize?? The church authorities can rationalize this away forever and it still is not right. What that amounts to is holding back so called blessings until you pay up !
Yeah, if times ever gets bad, do you think they’re gonna help the average Mormon family with anything? Hell no you’re a fool to think so that money is for just a few top families and whoever the church wants to help.
If you want perfecting the saints you don't need money. If the planet explode your money is nothing. After life didn't you think money is needed. The true church don't need that kind of money. The only thing need is ture Faith to Heavevly Father and Jesua Christ amen.
In your fact checking where you present the threefold mission of the church you failed to mention in 2009 they added a forth "serve the poor and needy" This isn't to say they were not doing that before but they decided it was now important to emphasize. Anyone familiar with the scriptures knows that there will be more than a rainy day before the Second Coming and not everyone who has food storage will be able to use it due to evacuations etc.
When I graduated high school I worked in Salt Lake City and when I got off the bus I was bombarded with a lot of anti-mormon literature. I always wondered why they spent all their time and resources to print anti-mormon stuff instead of print stuff about what they believe. I love the bumper sticker coexist. I wish we could put positives out in the world instead of cutting others down.
All they have to do invest 50 billion and get a 20 percent back they will have enough without tithing. I'm sure they will recieve revelation on when to buy and sell
And remember the financial specialists, advisors, accountants, and legal counsel are delivering adequate 𝘙𝘖𝘐 to the Lords portfolio - the last thing the Almighty wants is an audit from the Feds; I'm sure he wasn't too pleased having cough up 5 mil last time.
This church does a lot. I saw the hurricanes in Florida where tons of food and supplies were given for free. The pandemic saw lots of funds going to help countries that needed help. My mom had a friend that was a member of the Mormons and they got food and help with their bills because they were poor.
As full tithe paying member...you should know...that once you tithe...that is no longer YOUR money. You aren't an investor in the church. You freely donate without strings your tithe to the church. And you should know the act of tithing is NOT to fund the church but is an exercise of faith for you as an individual. Do you think God needs your money? Do you think the church should change it from tithe to ninthe? How are you going to live the law of consecration if you can't understand the law of tithing? Also, ask yourself...cui bono? Is there a Joel Olsteen of the church? This notion that the church doesn't need the money is foolish. WE need to tithe. The Church needs to prepare. I think where you get confused is by the term "church." This is not merely the church of God but the Kingdom of God. It is his government and his servants are preparing for what is to come in the latter days which money will be quite useful to have. I mean...if they had a billion dollars in food would you complain? I don't get the beef here. The mission of the church is to push the work of Christ...who cares how they do it if it is legal and ethical?
Yea. A lot of people didn’t get the memo. The law of tithing is a commandment from God. God promises that if we pay our tithe then He will open the windows of Heaven and pour out a blessing upon us that we will not have room to receive it. What the scripture doesn’t say is that you should pay your tithing if you feel like my servants are using the funds that are gathered in manner that you think they should be used accordingly to you logic, reasoning, and in your way. The leaders of the church will be responsible for how they use the Lords funds in their respective positions weather as a bishop stake president or even apostle or prophet. That being said the presenter of this video and many in comments section don’t seem to believe that the ordinances performed in the church are necessary for salvation. Bringing salvation to Gods children is priceless and of far more worth then money. Paying tithing means you have more faith in God then you do money especially if your in a tight financial situation. Many who where once in those positions of poverty now continue to pay tithing because they did so when it was hard and they have faith in the principle of tithing because they lived it. Money is not evil, money is a tool that shows people what you value nor is money the root of all evil the love of money above all things is the root of evil.

The money goes to further the Lord's work and that is it. Anyone that serves in the Church can tell you...the Church does not spend its money easily.
@@cabarete2003 I haven't been around many of the Apostles, but as far as the cars go they have been average. They have not been fancy sports cars or some high end expensive car. Their manner of dress is like those of missionaries. In terms of finances the prophet Russel M. Nelson could make more as a surgeon. Many of the apostles could make more by leaving their calling. As far as the money they do receive goes it is small in comparison. They have to travel a lot and the way they do that is through paying for it by money. Why do they travel? To preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is a non-issue as are many things that people make out to be issues. Do people gather fruits or thistles ? This channel gathers thistles against the apostles and prophets of God. It's works speak for it self.
@@andrewdurfee3896 I agree. Also, when they do travel, they do not do much, if any, sight seeing. They go "for work" if you will and then head off to the next land. It is interesting that people that leave the church feel the need to then attack the Church. The Church essentially lives rent free in these peoples' heads. If I were to leave a church...I'd leave and never turn back...since the reason for leaving the church is to get it out of my life. They seek to tag the Church with some nefarious goals...but there simply aren't any. Having a lot of money saved up is wise...not insidious.
The members who can barley feed themselves can also go to the church and their faithful comunity to receive help. This happens all the time if they just swallow their pride and seek out help. Stop lying.
Also, 100 Billion for a member base of 17 million is really not that much. #Make_it_a_trillion We truly believe that there are hard times ahead, so this rainy day fund is a good thing, and a smart thing.
Not really, I just know they're not doing with our money what they would have us think they are! And certainly not doing as much as they could charity wise.
If you recall the scriptures, the Lord asks that we give a honest 10th of gains to tiths and offerings. By doing so the blessings of heaven will pour out to you. In my life it has been proven many times. I have been on both sides of this, not paying tithing and paying tithing. When I do pay my tithing, my life goes much better. I have been blessed far beyond what I could've expected. When I don't our family struggles. I have a very strong testimony of paying tithing and will never stop paying tithing and offers because of those blessings and small miracle that has happened in our lives. I don't question why because when the Lord makes a promise and we obey, he is bound to that law. May you find your own testimony of tithing by putting it to the test. Trials do come and you will be tested to see how strong your faith is, but it is worth it all. The Lord gives us loaf of bread and he only asks for a slice. Is that to much to ask. Trust that God has a plan whether we see it not. God bless us all.
Sorry, you sound like a nice person but your comment is exactly why I left the church and I feel that the only person you're trying to convince is yourself. Encouraging people not to ask questions is the mark of cult-like organisations. This video highlights just one very small aspect of how the church deceives people.
The pre-eminent Scripture on tithing is in Deuteronomy. It says to tithe on your net increase. That means tithe 10 on what you have EXTRA, not gross income. The church's greed and lies.............makes me sick,
Thanks for your sincere input. Well said. And I support your decision. I do have a question though, and I do mean it to be respectful - Do you think you would be blessed any less if you gave the money directly to the poor, instead of a super wealthy church? Jesus stressed giving to the poor much more than to the temple treasury during his ministry. I'm just curious what you think. This is how I've decided to go and I think God is just as kind to me. No pressure to change you. You seem to be doing well. And thanks again for the respectful comment.
If I take my 10 percent and donate it to a worthwhile cause for needy individuals and obtain a receipt for it, when I present it to the bishop, it won't be valid, even though I gave 10 percent to the Lord. Why do you think that is?
@@alanabills5370 Because the mission of the church is not to give to the poor like Jesus said. Don't get me wrong. Every penny the church approves for charitable purposes is appreciated, but the members would help the poor so much more if they listened to Jesus above anyone demanding money. The poor don't demand money - Only the powerful can carrot/stick people into giving them money. If the hungry refugee tells people God wants them to give money, people would view the poor as presumptive and give less. But a rich guy at the head of a church tells people God wants them to give money into his authority, and millions of people decide they had better do it.
If you have watched this and see nothing wrong, then that's absolutely fine! My purpose is to create informed members, if members see this and they are ok with it, then that's their choice. Thank you for your comment, you have a great day too!
I think the main problem is the investments are called a rainy-day fund, but that the church never specified exactly when/how that fund is to be used. So people assume that the fund kicks in if the Church is unable to sustain its operating expenses purely on tithing, so that the Church doesn't have to touch other budgets (ex. ward budgets).
@@moonman239 I don’t know if the fund is specified as such but I think any organization with the least degree of common sense would have money saved up for emergencies. I still don’t see a problem here. Not all the donations are meant for humanitarian purposes and most tithe-paying members know that.
Imagine I lease 300 apartments for $750/month, with the understanding that it all goes toward apartment upkeep. Then you find out I set aside $10 of each of every tenant's monthly checks for a "rainy-day fund" - the rest goes to apartment upkeep. You might think "OK, good - things happen. I'd like a fully-functional living space even when they do." 18 months later, the apartment complex's electrical system goes kaput over a cold winter and I say "The repair bill's going to be $10,000. I can't afford that, so here's a blanket, a camp stove, some propane, and a camping shower kit." Then you receive information from other current/former tenants and maybe from my financial advisor that that $10/tenant/month was invested in an account that pays 10% compounded monthly,so by now that fund should have more than enough money to cover the bill. How would you feel?
@@NEMOTHEMORMONTry and prayer for yourself nemo and ask him, but its all linked to the preparation for the second coming and preparing for some major steps the church knows it needs to make in the next few decades in relation to prophecy etc.
Jared Dunne any particular prophecies? They’ve stated in the video that these funds are for a rainy day, like 2008, yet we know, because the church themselves said, that in 2008 the church just reduced expenditure. So unless you have any quotes from leaders of the church about uses for this money other than the ways I’ve mentioned, then I’m more inclined to believe the official spokespeople for the church.

Excellent.. thanks Nemo.
This is so sad. So much for the true Church. I guess it can be called the truly stingy church.

You can't become a God unless you give the church ten percent of your income and if they didn't have so much money the general authorities wouldn't get so many free trips.
One more reason to of had my name removed from the records of the church.
Thanks for watching!! We absolutely have a right to know, and so we should continue to campaign for honesty and openness.
How do they pay for all of those "off the books" CIA operations? Memory holed. You have no power to demand knowledge of anything and the government should keep some things secret from citizens.
A correction to what you said taught at the end. The church can run forever, not just 17 years.
100 Billion dollars is definitely too much for the rainiy days. it is more of greedy and not about the pure love of Christ. If Jesus Christ are here, He would have ordered to use the money right away to feed the hungry people worldwide.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

If you paid tithing you can ask and you will get back
All they have to do invest 50 billion and get a 20 percent back they will have enough without tithing.
Investments? Looks more like hoarding vast sums that could help the poor and needy to me.
This church does a lot. I saw the hurricanes in Florida where tons of food and supplies were given for free. The pandemic saw lots of funds going to help countries that needed help. My mom had a friend that was a member of the Mormons and they got food and help with their bills because they were poor.
If you watch the next video, you'll see that it's rarely the church that does this, rather the members and an organisation called LDS Charities.
What is the condition with your eyes
bye bye Nemo.....
@@andrewdurfee3896 When was the last GA you saw in a fancy suit? Driving a fancy car? Who is making more now as a GA than they were making in their former profession? Cui Bono? Not the leaders of the Church...that's for sure. To these critics I say...show me cui bono and if that is a rich fat cat...then we can talk. There are no Joel Osteens here.
#Make_it_a_trillion
We truly believe that there are hard times ahead, so this rainy day fund is a good thing, and a smart thing.
Who else loves Nemo's eye?
So you know how the Mormon business should be run better than the actual leaders in their own church?
Nemo, I honestly see nothing wrong here. Just intelligent and careful money management by the church. I hope you have a good day.
@@moonman239 except the apartment owner has never once charged me for a repair.
You guys have no idea the actual purpose of the reserve fund, if only you knew.
Jared Dunne if you’d care to enlighten us I’d love to hear about it!
