I was there, maybe 3-4 rows of people between me and the front railing. Being a daft punk fan at the time, but unaware of the rarity of such a tour and having no idea what to expect -- it was a transcendent experience, and can safely say no concert since has topped it. I recall hearing local Chicago radio station Q101 DJs talking about it the next day or Monday after, saying how unbelievable the show was (chills/goosebumps), and that they felt bad for Iron and Wine, or whoever had to play at the same time on the Northern end of Grant Park.
I was there, had just turned 28 and getting hugely into the music festival scene (late bloomer). Liked Daft Punk at the time but didn't realize how much history I was witnessing. Nobody ever thought that not only electronic music would EXPLODE over the next few years but 2007 would be the last year they would ever tour.

Thought this dude was clutch then I clicked the times to realize all his shit was wrong smh
Gfus
Seeing now cellphones in the crowd what a time that was. God I miss that.
Instead of cellphones there were cameras
Throw your phone away then
Together and One more Time - so damn good
I got to go, this was exactly a month before I got sent to prison also. IDOC sucked but shit happens and it will never happen again. Books, movies, and music got me through the 2 1/2 years. Daft Punk has been a huge part of my life since the early 90's up until now. Gotta LOVE them.

Georgio sir THANK YOU
I was there, maybe 3-4 rows of people between me and the front railing.
47:32 wow that switch up incredible
i remember hearing this exact part for the first time listening to alive 2007 album. i got goosebumps all over
I was there, had just turned 28 and getting hugely into the music festival scene (late bloomer). Liked Daft Punk at the time but didn't realize how much history I was witnessing. Nobody ever thought that not only electronic music would EXPLODE over the next few years but 2007 would be the last year they would ever tour.
Incredible footage. Wonder what's up with that double audio glitch but hey, still incredible!
29:30 brings more tears to my eyes every time I watch this set
Mate this is just sheer euphoria I had to repeat it about 5 times 🖤
i was 4 in 2007 but DAAAAAAMN I WOULD DO ANYTHING TO LIVE THIS it’s the craziest thing
damn niggas really out here being 4 in 2007😂
51:23 proof this is the real loopalooza audio, this is special for anyone in loopalooza at the time
55:14 and this is where the weird echo stops and the audio quality goes to mixer
oh hi there
@@pciphidic hi Mr box island guy
cewl
Switching to the mixer just in time for the biggest banger of the entire set too. Praise to thee, our robot overlords!
Can you explain what you mean by real audio? Genuinely intrested
Daft Punk in a realm of their own
It's between them and Kraftwerk in terms of most influential electronic groups ever. Nobody even comes close to them. Aft..
That build up at 57:06 and Guy man banging his head at the drop will always put a smile on my face
Legendary set
This footage is so CRISPY for 2007???
the internet lied to you.
You’re acting like HD, 4K and 8K didn’t exist back then, or decades prior. They did
Do you think 2007 was the Ice Age or something. HD was a thing this isn't the 90's lol.
time where capturing video was stored lossless .
Gen Z acting like 2007 is 1987
Porque ?
Ya no existen como tal@@Fer69flamenco
I'm bummed I didn't discover electronic music until I was 29. I would have been 19 years old in 2007. I could have been here 😢
i love that we hear Thomas before it starts lol, his voice is so soothing
Saw this show in Portugal back in 2006. Still in the top 5, easily.
Lolla 2007 had one of the greatest lineups
this goes hard
HAPPY 15TH ANNIVERSARY

@@BiggusNickus 😅coulda been an engineer, u know what i meant
@@s1me007 Nah, I just made a (admittedly stupid) joke as Bonnie Tyler's I Need A Hero was playing in the background :p
Talent pure !
1:51 2:43 not a phone in sight - just people enjoying the moment.

Seen this show in Dublin 2007....unbeatable.

No phones, what a beautiful sight
Yeah I noticed that too. People just enjoying and being in the moment, not recording anything with phones..
Almost.. I was there and recorded about 30 seconds of this concert on a Razor flip phone. 🤖
39:35 sorry buddy
