- Sunny Hostin says she has not read Meghan McCain’s column where she criticized The View and said the show keeps getting worse, adding that the show is a wonderful place and ratings have always been great. Sunny also points out that Meghan’s husband writes mean tweets about her, but she and Meghan have remained friends.

Wouldn’t be surprised if this interview causes a rift between them. Sunny is smart and strategic about her career, her being ‘friendly’ with Meghan is more about keeping her enemies close. Meghan tried getting Sunny fired from The View in 2019, it was reported on many outlets back then. Meghan probably actually believed they were friends now though, because even if her husband mean-tweets about you, Meghan still expects you to look past all of that and still be her friend. Obviously Sunny was never NOT going to notice his shade. He said vile things about Ana Navarro too. Bet Meghan was fuming as soon as she found out about this interview. Exactly she mentioned in her column "only way to be on that show is not voice your authentic opinions" and it's like no there is a way to voice your opinions without doing it in a toxic negative manner which is what she did . Alyssa pushes back all the time on the view in a respectful manner. The problem with Meghan is with every topic she would argue her point as if she was being personally attacked vs just giving her opinion on the topic. She turned almost every topic into a personal attack on her .

From what I heard, she was completely nasty to Abby on the show. I think maybe she was jealous of her and also the fact that Abby would not gang up on the other women with her. Abby was a sweet person and even Joy liked her. Meghan was mad she was so liked by the others, I think. Jealousy.

Meghan was always in a state of fury and couldn't engage co-hosts like a rational adult. It was too draining to watch her bi-weekly outbursts, and said outbursts always detracted from topics deserving on meaningful discussion. Alyssa has been a terrific replacement who carries herself extraordinarily well in spite of her party's current lunacy. The energy of the show is entirely different with Meghan gone (thankfully).
No one on that view show is rational.
Meghan McCain was not the right fit for the view. She didn't debate, she just always took a confrontational view. It spoilt the show when she was on it. I'm not surprised that Joy didn't miss her. Whether she was pregnant or not is irrelevant.

Having drama for ratings is going to be looked at as Archaic in the next century. One day our society will be enlightened enough to actually discourage drama and to be look to resolve our personal traumas and evolve ourselves energetically as mainstream aspiration. I like Sunny, I don't always agree with her, but that's ok. She is very well educated, intelligent, thoughtful, kind, considerate and careful with her statements. I have a tremendous amount of respect for her. Her comments about Meghan were measured and thoughtful. Now after she finished her martini she might have some more to say, but hey, that's for later I bet when she's talking to her close friends. I was glad Andy didn't goad her into saying more. 😀

I promise you, people miss Elisabeth Hasslebeck more than they miss Me-Again McCain. No one misses her throwing temper tantrums when she’s losing an argument, constantly interrupting then getting pissed off when they do it to her, or her evoking her father’s name every other minute.
Meghan is appealing to her audience. I’m not defending her. I personally can’t stand her. However, she’s married to a Q-Anon bigot and knows the game that comes with it. I’m sure she believes half of it. Alyssa has her own issues but she can behave herself while on air.

NutMeghan McCain MADE "The View" unwatchable when she was on there, she could never get her points across without becoming angry and combative, she frequently snapped at her fellow co-hostesses (INCLUDING Sunny), she talked down to and degraded guests who appeared on the show and could never take what she DISHED OUT. NutMeghan is only trying to make herself relevant again by riding Rosie O'Donnell's coattails after Rosie went viral with sharing her experiences as a "View" co-hostess on Brooke Shields' podcast. Joy Behar spoke for ALL of us when she told NutMeghan that she did NOT miss her and we STILL don't miss her
