Lorelai was a great mother in the way that she was a role model and wasnt judgmental towards her daughter, but am i the only one who thinks Lorelai wasn't that great of a parent? Constantly acts like her daughters friend and her daughter always have to be the adult, slept with Rory's teacher and everyone found out, constantly fed her child junk food (as she didn't even know how to cook, if Rory was obese it would be seen as abuse), and many other things.
