@@yazanadnan1977 Exactly, there’s a symbiote apocalypse and it’s played very seriously. The choice system also has consequences and the black suit ones can get Spider-Man to make some pretty dark and lasting choices

I've replayed the Deadpool level a thousand times. I did it to squeeze every single bit of dialogue from his golden mouth. Best game ever.

I remember when this game first came out, I was so hyped. They would reveal each different Spider-Man every other two weeks, it kept us guessing which Spider-Man was gonna be used in the game. Great memories 😌

They tried to "Noir" up the stealth in later Spidey games, particularly in Insomniac's take. But man, there's just something different about the way Spider-Man noir takes enemies to quiet pound town. His takedown animations are brutal, and his combat moves feel more like you're killing enemies with your fists realistically than a simple nap time, and the villains are darkly colorful. Also had some of the best soundtracks for each boss.
The Batman Arkham games played similarly with the stealth gameplay.
Fun fact: I had a lecture with the storyboard artist who worked on the cutscenes for this game. The museum in the opening is based on my local art gallery in Glasgow.

Spiderman, the animated series voice actor from the 90's, Christopher Daniel Barnes, will always be the real Spiderman to me. I STILL feel like the end of that show needs a proper real ending. When I saw X-Men 97 announced...I was like.. "What about Spiderman?!" Lol. Great video!

After No Way Home I was wanting to watch some Spideyverse so went to watch Into the Spiderverse, but couldn't find it free online. Anyway I found the '90s tv show and decided to watch through some eps of that and have been enjoying it. I'm literally in the middle of the Finale pt.2 today!

As a kid I watched Sam Rami's Spider man (1,2,3) more than 200 times, no cap, my whole personality is based on him. The number of times I've got that I am like Peter Parker is astronomical.

That is how well it holds up today. To this day Shattered Dimensions and Insomniac's Spider-Man are my two favorite Spidey experiences.

I really loved Shattered Dimensions, but after the end without an actual city to explore in each timeline, it was done with.
Imagine swinging as Spider-Man Noire in the '30s and shutting down a mafia and seizing illegally made alcohol and stuff. It would be really cool.
Then ww2 comes along and you can hunt for an Evil Hanz spy in America. It would be certainly more adult-themed but i would play the crap out of it.
I would honestly just love a noir Spider-Man game. The potential is certainly there.

One of my most favourite Spider-Man games of all time. Despite some flaws here and there,but this game has really made this game look so memorable in the first place. This alone really brought back Spider-Man back in its popularity and they also brought the recognition of the spider verse to begin with. Which brought the the spider verse comic series,the animated Spider-Man movie and now they’re bringing it to the MCU at No Way Home. Don’t know what future will hold for Spideys big adventure.

I picked up Shattered Dimensions when it first came out and 100% completed it cause I loved it so damn much. I even still have a copy of it for the PS3 now. It's easily in my top 3 favorite SM games of all time, maybe even #2.

I loved how as soon as he mentioned noir was forced by the same guy from the 90's animated series I knew he would of brought up the "I will chase you to the ends of the earth" scene

I played the DS version of the game, and I can say it's also absolutely excellent. A lot less content which is to be expected, but it's a nice little experience.
Spider-Man Web of Shadows made we want to get into game development, just the fluidity of his movements. Aside from the acting, I think it's second to Spider-Man 2 in terms of combat, swinging, and innovation. Thank you for including it!

Received Shattered Dimensions as a gift in middle school back in 2010/2011. That game introduced me to 2099 and Noir and the general concept of multiple Spidermen living in different universes.
I liked how vulture was a bit like a vampire because he didn't like light
You definitely should've mentioned the horror aspect with Hobgoblin (2099), Vulture, Carnage etc. The first person sequences really drove in that fear factor. And the sound design for Noir and 2099 was immaculate, especially the former one

I love this game I remember playing this with my two uncle’s we would each play one spider-man i would play the original my younger uncle would play 2099 and my older one would play noir and we would each take turn play the ultimate
