MMRs right now on CuberTrucks is roughly at $155k-$162k Hoovie it’s still worth to flip them even after the Tesla fine of $50k if you buy one at MSRP directly from Tesla
Even if I had a billion dollars I would never buy a Tesla
You dodged a bullet on this one. If you thought the Ford Lightning was bad when towing, with a Cybertruck, you get less than 100 miles towing 6000 pounds or more, and you have to drop the trailer in order to charge...
@@Rekuzan : Agree. For towing range, buy a diesel. But if you don’t tow (like most current truck owners), this EV truck can’t be beat (no maintenance, highly maneuverable, 0-60 time is nuts, most comfortable air-ride suspension, approximately 80 MPGe, roller tonneau cover, crazy sound system, one pedal driving, etc).
@@toyota420xp This is why everyone should drive what makes them happy. Even if I had $2 billion, I would never buy an ICE vehicle again.
I love the woman who saw her first cyber truck and thought it was home made.
I think is more like a high school shop project.
I'd be embarrassed to drive one
You just know that design was all Elon. Let's make a triangle truck that's not aerodynamic with a compromised shape that's horrible for truck things.. Everyone at the company is like ummm you're the boss
I want one.
I couldn't be paid to drive one. I think they are fugly.
@@jeffpetrimoulx6806 Yeah I get how some may not like it but isn't that awesome we have the choice to buy such differently designed vehicles! Nobody's forcing you to buy one and if you don't like it well, go buy a Ford F150 or something of the sort.
@@jeffpetrimoulx6806 for god sakes I wouldn't go that far I only make 1677 an hour if someone said to hear drive a Tesla cybertruck and I'll pay you I'd be like where do I sign
The Cyber truck owners remind me of the “Hey, look at me. I’m special.” crowd that drove Hummers back in the day.
That is why i am waiting for the 3rd gen RWD with the large battery somewhere around 2028 in Europe.
Except those were about excess and gaudy wastefulness.
Cybertruck is an EV with smaller proportions than an f150.
So true lol

@@Nikowalker007with all the quality issues, i’d say 30k. It’s garbage. Almost like a toy car that your kids ride around the neighborhood. 😂😂😂
I never had a PT Cruiser but I loved that aesthetic. I’d rather have a PT Cruiser than a Cybertruck.
A foot pedal trim coming loose is mad, truly terrible build quality and design. No wonder it's not legal outside the USA with design like that
Its not legal because it doesnt comply with pedestrian safety standards.
Looks like a fridge with a pedal car interior.
Sorry Hoovie, I agree with April, I think you're nuts too.
For sure. A Tesla fan boy. And a fool.
That's why April's land yacht is such a fantastic purchase! 👍🏼🤣
She will be fixing broken stuff on that Town Car for the rest of her life. I don’t know why there is a false narrative that they never break and are cheap and easy to fix. It’s a lie. They are American cars from a time that reliability was just lip service and they are old as dirt now.
Market is crashing because the entire special coolness factor will be gone in a few months
Coolness factor? Hahahaaaa
The hype is already waning, and most of Hoovie’s audience thinks it’s a stupid vehicle. There are much better investments out there.
Agree, there is already loads of content on the Cyberurinal, I don't need to see it on Hoovies garage - and he'll end up losing a ton of money on it at this point unless he flips it within weeks and risks the wrath of Electric Jesus.
So what vehicle is an investment? Unless the vehicle is a collectible (rare) or used to generate income it is not an investment, it is an expense.
@@jerrylundegaard2592 I spoke to my accountant and my financial advisor about "investing" in a 52' ketch, recently. I explained to them that it would guarantee me a net negative return of 10% per annum, minimum, and that I would be able to trade in the security for at least 50% after 10 years. Apparently, according to them, that doesn't constitute an investment.
@@jerrylundegaard2592 He just bought an Ford Lightning - they have apparently gone up a lot in value in the last few years - I don't get it at all as IMO they are just stupid (not as stupid as the Cyberjunk though)- but a lot of people must want them.
You need a vin for an electric waste management bin? Thats the dumbest thing ive heard
I feel sorry for the poor souls who paid 250k for a hummer ev. I saw one listed recently for $109k.
I don't. It's just rich people who want to show their rich friends they have the latest and "greatest" toy.
Considering the Hummer Eevee is now canceled
@@toyota420xp Wait, already? It's only 2 models years or so, isn't it?
That's kind of hilarious but also expected; it's just a marketing stunt and GM knew it.
There were about a dozen of them at my local Tesla dealership in Cleveland. I wouldn’t pay over MSRP for one, either.
My wife does exotic car leasing contracts and they had a customer just two weeks ago 249 k
I paid $3,000 for a 2001 Dodge ram truck with 170,000 mi. I put 60,000 mi on it and it's still runs perfect.
Better than I bought it because I like to fix stuff. I can work on that whole truck, no problem but I'm sure I could not work on a Tesla truck.
The money that I theoretically saved by not buying a Tesla truck will get me about 30 years of gas.
I know I know I'm not saving the environment but I like my truck.
Electric cars are WORSE for the environment the ICE cars. You can hold your head high on the conservation issue. 😃

more like Cyberturd. Definition of over-promised and under-delivered
Not to mention it's the ugliest thing riding on four wheels.
It could be the greatest automotive bait and switch ever pulled off. The fanboys bent over and took it with a smile.
You'll love yours (eventually).
That's not the only thing wrong with the Cybertruck. Dozens of people have had their truck's computers and displays just die after only 3000 to 4000 miles of use. The truck just sits like a dead blob because you can't start it or access the electronics.
Where did you get this information? I haven’t heard of that anywhere and I’m sure anyone this happened to would be running to the news to tell their story.
150 thousand dollars and there's glue holding on the acceleration pedal??? It's an even bigger P.O.S than I thought it was.
Wait till you pull apart a BMW and realize the fenders and structural members use glue.

Actually, it turns out that glue doesn't hold on the accelerator pedal at all.
@@davidbrayshaw3529 Yeah, apparently its put on like a rubber cover for a Roku remote, fine for Roku tv device but not expensive EV🤔😳🙄😏
No truck people that use a truck will ever want a Tesla cyber truck. Range, range while towing, charge times on road trips, total mileage on the battery ect.
Kinda just joking but no construction worker who wants to put his thermos bottle on the roof would want his thermos to roll/slide into his pickup bed😂jk because this isnt being used to build a house, cmon, impressive 0-60 times aren't nearly as important as hauling capacity for a work truck....
I mean...it's barely a truck. I bet a rough dirt road would damage the cyber truck.
@@finderskeepers1993 kinda joking but hitting a rock would probably jar a computer board loose, because look at the accelerator pedal recall going on 😳🙄😏
Drill one or two holes thru the pedal and use pop rivets.
I drive by Tyler's Cybertruck everyday on I-130. Well, I drive by the lot full of them sitting outside at the factory waiting for something.
Probably a couple of screws to hold the pedal on properly - like every other car manufacturer would do.
@@Beer_Dad1975 I've seen accelerator pedals that were a rubber sleeve over a piece of steel and they worked for 20+ years; no idea why Tesla couldn't just do that.
@@deanchur Yup, literally every 70's car I owned was exactly that.

Mass produced vehicles are not investments, the Ford lightning… remember that one , can’t give them away now… the exact same thing will happen to the cyber turd . Electric steering… that makes real sense..
Actually the Ford lighting turned out rather good for something not designed from the ground up as an EV. While it is a basicly a converted ICE vehicle it was a well executed conversion.
@@robwalker4548And yet it’s worse at everything than an ICE F-150
I was never really sold on the CyberTruck. Still not. And it can kill me? Noooooo, thank you.
Duh the market is crashing because people found out that you need to accept your complimentary swirly when you take delivery.
Who glues the trim on the accelerator pedal?
The glue must be a few cents cheaper than a pair of screws, so Tesla.
Monroe penny pinching special. Glue or clips are better😂.

I’m a truck driver, and I’ve done 4 trips so far with nothing but cyber trucks going to California! there was several other trucks there each time I was loading up heading to California
I still think it looks like a Urinal
The market is crashing because there really shouldn't be a market anyway, the Cybertruck is a new vehicle that's currently in production, more are rolling off the assembly line every day, Tesla will ultimately be building as many of them as people will buy. Paying over MSRP for a used one gets you one a bit faster than waiting, but all anyone who wants one for MSRP has to do is wait a bit longer and they'll have it. Thinking a pickup truck that's like a month old is going to appreciate like a rare classic car is asinine
Really!!! Why did they just laid off hundreds of plant workers today?
@claytempleton455 Tesla is laying off 10% of their workforce worldwide, across all departments and facilities, it isn't specifically Cybertruck related, the layoffs at the Austin plant are due to the Model Y not selling, they have 833% more in inventory worldwide now than at the same point in 2023, they overproduced Ys and now can't sell them. The Cybertruck has a waiting list, the Model Y has the opposite problem, they're not moving
Fun episode, keep up the great work!😀
RWD is supposed to be 61K. From $39.995 promised in 2019. And it's a LOT worse spec'd than in 2019. Range, seats, space, all of it.
And the competition is still coming. Strange…
"truck" with a useless bed.
Elon promised 300 mile range for the AWD and it gets 320 miles. Also, steer-by-wire with rear wheel steering is a game changer. I think my CT is incredible. But I understand it’s not for everybody.
@@jimusa9330 "Also, steer-by-wire with rear wheel steering is a game changer. " No its not.
We had steer or fly or drive a ship or a Zeppelin by wire in many applications - just not in passenger vehicles because of regulatory disapprovements - for many decades.
The CT is currently in its class unique and - imho - best of class. Ford did have the opportunity to make a better car. They missed their target.

I foresee a years old normal car valued at 40k$ in around 1-2 years.
Regarding current state - the bloke's: yea, it can kill me, yea no quality control AT ALL (it rolled off the production line faulty and noone has driven a single KM in it). But I still want one.
When the newness wanes its basically done for it. Do you think ppl will wait for years to get one? I dont thinks so.
I had a Dodge Colt that cost me new $1450. The accelerator pad never fell off. Just saying.
In California, do the Cyber trucks have pink and blue balloons floating over them with neon day glow arrows pointing at the trucks😊. One side of the balloon says "Look at me" the other side says "Respect my privacy."
That piece is just a decorative cover, of course its glued on but its not needed, its for looks and removing it would be a simple fix.
Dapco 2200 B2 would fix the accelerator pedal. We have had a Cybertruck up here in Sandpoint Idaho for awhile now, I see it almost every day, you should get yours as soon as they resolve the accelerator pedal issue. As far as prices, good, I'm glad it falling. They weren't supposed to be over a hundred grand anyway, I like seeing the flippers getting screwed.
Glue hell!! If I owned one it would instantly get 4 holes drilled, countersinked, threaded and 4 flat-head fasteners installed with red thread locker.
Simple as that, done!!!
Note that if this was a Ford GT500, this would already be done. Trying to glue aluminum to anything is an automatic fail - almost nothing will stick to it. Weld or bolt it.

I actually saw a cyber truck in Chelsea Michigan about three weeks ago. It had a manufacturer plate on it, which was interesting.
Where on the accelerator pedal is the pick up sensor, What is the fixed for the recalled CTs.
You have a flaw in your analogy of the cyber truck prices crashing it's because Tesla said they're going to go after people who have sold them so it's putting a more of a damper on the resale because they know they're going to get sued by Tesla so it's a half truth the worst of them all
Fast becoming the Stanley Tumbler of the auto world.
Production number claims...delivery numbers and recalled numbers don't compute.
They haven't crashed in value! Just cause some dork buys 1 for $245k, all the others are probably over what the owners paid especially if they had connections and bought at MSRP. Then if they paid $100-115k and sold even at $145k they made quite a bit of money!

The Silverado EV that's about to come out/just come out has been getting great reviews as well; JerryRigEverything hit 400mi on a single charge in one and it looks pretty functional (removable rear panel for long loads for example).
Cybertruck was never going to appeal to people who need a truck for doing truck things; it's a meme car and memes don't stick around like they used to (how long did we all put up with Baneposting and getting RickRolled?)
The HHR Panel is better looking!
I am excited to see one in the wild but I'm scared I'll flood my basement from excitement!
60,000 sub’s . Congratulations
If you press the CT’s brakes, it overrides a stuck accelerator pedal. Tesla does need to fix this.
I still can't get over the fact that these stainless steel trucks are rusting out. Have you ever seen a rusty DeLorean?
The truth is, they're not even rusting, much less "rusting out". Only surface stains, easily wiped off.
They're not rusting. RUclips channels make a ton of money for viewclicks so you'll see lots of things.
While they aren’t rusting. There are different grades of stainless. They can and do rust.
DeLorean's suffer terrible rust issues on the mild steel underbody if they aren't well cared for - but the stainless body panels are pretty durable - of course they are just a thin veneer of stainless over plastic, so they were able to use a different grade of stainless that is more resistant to corrosion - Tesla kinda had their hands tied by having to use high tensile stainless - the whole thing is just a terrible design.
Yes, all Deloreans are rusty lol
You probably agree that GMYT is best at auto talk and related game show episodes, and for me, that works.

Nice couple.good programme. 🎉
I’m with April
Yes you’re nuts 😂
This news was typical. I’m canceling my order because it’s simply too big to fit in my driveway. I need a more midsized truck. With the issues and near price doubling, this truck is more smoke and mirrors.
Cheapest I've seen recently is several in the 136k range. Ebay and Cargurus. Price is dropping fast.
The Cyber Truck is a "Truck" for people that never owned a truck, nor need a truck. It's an oversized car.
It's a solution for a problem that doesn't exist.
Real trucks have diesel engines.
True, and I hear they have lots of torque, beam it back in time and it could probably pull even a wooly mammoth out of a ditch 😂jk but how much sci-fi have I read in over 50 years?!😊
PT Cruisers are still cool and still have a huge following. Also they really don't deserve the hate, they are super tough little cars that often just get neglected. I literally use one for a snowplow and my parents daily drive one.
Oh my, and the irony is that we can't see the same thing happening now.
THe Cybertruck is the Apple Vision pro of cars ;)
Not surprised. Congrats on getting a VIN Tyler....get your $100 back. Spend it on a nice lunch with April. I'm not impressed with the Cybertruck. I saw one on the road here in Texas last week. Whatever. The electric truck that has impressed me? GM's Chevrolet Silverado! 440 actual miles on range....as driven by Dan at What's Inside. He actually got 460 miles on a single charge.
It should be redesigned with two screws. The tech would just need to drill two holes in the accellerator plate, screw in the two screws, and it would be done forever. Any kind of glue could be a future problem.
Elon says ONE rivet...not TWO. He says that is adequate, and owners need to stop whining!

Is the OS on the CT the same as the other Tesla models? Does each auto manufacturer develop their own OS?
How about two counter sunk screws to hold the pedal?
That accelerator pedal is such an unforgivable fail. Potentially deadly too. I can’t believe that wasn’t picked up as a serious problem far earlier!
The fix is a single ugly rivet mounted 1/2 inch above the bottom of the accelerator. It's exposed and a mandatory fix.
