Hi ! How are the temperatures in stress test ? Does thermal throtling ?
Was planning to get this laptop soon. I’ve heard complaints about the control center and rgb on the keyboard. Does a clean install of windows eliminate those annoyances (as in, does it still allow you to use the backlights on the keys)?
yes the control center is a bottleneck, i have not wiped yet.
If you have upgraded the RAM in this one, do you know which one works at full 3200MT/s as bios doesn't provide xmp options?

I noticed that the two front screws on the laptop do not have any threads at 5:22
Do they hold down the laptop shell and prevent dissassembly, or do they hold down something else?
If they do hold downt he laptop shell, how do you unscrew them?

Looks like this particular model 15p XD has no mux switch , I'm very confused between this and msi gp66 rtx 3070, aorus 15p has USB c, thunderbolt 4 but not mux switch, but msi gp66 has a mux switch but no USB c, thunderbolt, does the mix switch really matter if I will be using a external monitor ? Will the performance be highest when using external monitor on either laptops ?
I'm also concerned about the gigabyte control center software, came across many issues online about it being just very mediocre, do you recommend aorus15p or the gp66 considering all these points for gaming on external monitor

How to limit battery wear by setting charge threshold on the battery? Can I make it to stop charge at 60% when plugged in like other laptops brands(Asus, Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI).

look into how to completely wipe out and do a fresh install and see if you are happy doing that. the gigabyte control centee is a nightmare to manage to your setup and what u will be using it for. do u have any specific requirement?
@@Windowslovers tnx for replying & no not any specific usage just for games like dota 2,csgo and etc... I do believe that the performance & power is insane so despite this,it definitely needs a good cooling system to control the cpu and gpu temp...how would you rate the cooling system?

Got the 3070 model about 2 months back and i cant be happier. The cooling is amazing and performance is excellent.

115W + 15W Dynamic Boost = 130W TGP my friend! Quite powerful. But be aware, only the XC (10th Gen Intel) Models have Advanced Optimus/MUX switch. I ordered one and noticed afterwards. oops.
@@nitrobitde2609 you should get the 11the gen coz that one has better ram and better storage and the prossesor is better two.
i would only get the 10th if ist priced lower but that isnt the case in my county
Do you know if Aorus is pulling an Alienware and just disabling the mux feature? I find it weird that intel 11th gen models don't have one yet 10th gen does
There is not mux switch on this one , the laptop struggles sometimes

It has what they call azure ai that boosts and throttles cpu and gpu depending on the apps, not a big fan!
Hey I see its been a year since you Uploaded the video any new updates on the laptop how is holding up
its good given you need to find a way to work it the best according to your needs since it does not have a mux switch to flick external gpu ON for everything. some users say that wiping it clean and removing the bloatware completely fully unlocked the laptop’s capability to 100%. i havent done that yet since its my main work laptop

Have you tested games on it for example fornite and if so can u tell me how much FPS you ran on it
ive only tested forza, gta 5, elden ring, pub g had no issue playing on high setting on my 49” monitor

@@Marty5.0 sucks there’s no mux but performance is still great. The cooling in this machine is phenomenal. Temps have never been above 70-75. Overall it’s a pretty solid machine besides the no mux and the crappy control centre.

@@Windowslovers Hey mate, I bought Legion 5 Pro 3070/5800H instead of this, was trying to decide from 4 laptops, GP66, HP Omen 17, Aorus and L5P. But I choosed L5P, what do you think about which one will be better option? Aorus was 250 bucks cheaper.

Yeah I guess only if you do CPU intensive tasks, you might see a little difference but that probably wont be worth getting the new chip!

Hello, Bought this laptop aorus 5se and it performs well but it will not keep a charge while plugged in and gaming. Help me, is it normal?

hi, can you charge this laptop via usb c (thunderbolt) ?
Yes, it does but you need to make sure that charger can supply enough power to the laptop. I tried with couple of chargers and the charger that comes with the macbook pro worked, but the one with macbook air did not work.
