thank you for saying the weight in kg. i was about to google what 4.8 pounds are in kg
Divide by 2.2 I'm used to it by now
@be happy no
Simple rule. Since 1 lbs = 0.45 kg = 9/20 kg = (10/20-1/20) kg = (1-0.1) * 1/2 kg, you take half the number of pounds and subtract an additional 10% of that.
In our example: 4.8 lbs. Half of that is 2.4 . 10% of 2.4 is 0.24. So we get 4.8 lbs = 2.4 kg - 0.24 kg = 2.16 kg, which is approximately 2.2 kg.
Of course, you could divide by 2.2 (2.2222222... to be precise), but that will require a calculator for most. This method can be done in your head.
@@hmmob3956 it’s not difficult to divide by 2.2, and I’ve failed maths 3 times in a row, if someone can’t do that they’re more of a failure than I am, and that’s depressing to think about

Plastic, those hinges give me the jitters, they are so easy to break if you drop it, they are expensive to fix. Least make the hinges metal or carbon to protect the monitor cables and wifi antenna.
I agree, those plastic laptops are very easy to break, scratch or even melt...
Do you travel with laptop in your hands, lol
They're most likely metal hinges covered by plastic, like pretty much every other laptop.
Shame because the 17 version in the metal chassis doesn't have that issue at all.
I have a 17g it has fantastic hinges and absolutely no screen wobble.
Own it (Australia). Its bloody awesome. Very powerful.
PROS.. lighter, quieter and smaller than I thought. I really like the look (simple and clean). RGB? No but its now got stickers. Lots of awesome stickers.
Keyboard lights are really nice. Typing is nice.
Monitor looks good to me. Bright.
Power cable is not an issue at all. The right angle connection allows a good fit and won't pop out moving laptop around.
Really I like everything except...
USB's on the right side. They're in a bad place as cables stick right out. Its fine if you get right angle connections or nothing is plugged in when you game. Left side is lacking in ports. This is a left handed people I guess but its fine. Whatever.
Fusion software, its ok but LED keyboard is bad. Lights reset to unicorn spew every boot but opening software turns things back to your settings. No fix for this. For the price ill put up with it. If you love LED light customization you might need to go elsewhere.
Not for unplugging, battery is rubbish. Its a desk and couch laptop.
Also, be sure your seller looks after your warranty. Don't get direct Gigabyte warranty support. They're bloody terrible.
Where did you buy it from and how much? I was looking at buying a gaming laptop not sure this or Zephyrs G15. Need some recommendations 😅😅
Is it possible running the benchmarks on the mousepad could choke the system a bit?
the speed at which the fan turned up is amazing

Now I want to know. Was there ever a sponsored video that didn't come out because the product was too awful?
They probably get sent a top of crap stuff that never make it into video.
what will this be like with 3070 in and also do u know how well external gpu would also work with this laptop over thunderbolt ?
3070ti or 3080ti on external
and do u know if u can use the inbuilt graphics in laptop with external gpu together ?
Has anyone heard about the laptop having screen issues? I have noticed after purchasing that the laptop hinge is wobbly (as shown in the video), and the cables are set up in a way similar to my old laptop, where the hinges chewed through the display cables and broke the screen. I am slightly worried about this, so I was wondering if anyone has had this experience with this laptop.
Thanks!
don't know about that 11th gen chip...Just set the 5900HS in my little Zephyrus G14 to 80W and hit 5022 in Cinebench R20
My guess is the Intel ran at least about 100W to get 4626, but could be more since cinebench wasn't using the GPU. Shows how much of a performance gap there still is.

As someone from Europe, THANK YOU for saying it in kg as well :D
Not that it's hard to pause the video and google it, at least after one learns that "lbs" is the short for "pounds" :S
They're Canadian and Canada uses kg. They only say in "uncivilized units" because of a large US audience.
@@bgezal Canada uses imperial. They included kg for the convenience of anyone too insulted to have to divide the weight in half (roughly).
Source: m.ruclips.net/video/s95cxZkC_es/видео.html
Also, do y’all “civilized people” (as he put it) measure screen sizes in mm? The idea just sounds so bizarre to me.
@@levygaming3133 Your source is a bit imperial minded as indicated by the video comments both Canadian and international.
In Europe screen sizes are usually given both in inches and cm. As well as a car's engine effect is given in kW but most often also Hp. It's those kind of measurements you never really use except for comparisons, so the old style stay strong.
As for Canada I went on amazon.ca and looked up the first laptop I could find. It was a 15.6" screen but the dimensions were 51.6 x 31.6 x 9.4 cm; 2.94 Kilograms. Alex is correct to use kg when talking about laptops.
I also went to Samsung's Korean homepage, where all TV's were only given in cm, like "Neo QLED 8K 214 cm", but had a button for opening a conversion table to inches. When I opened the French Samsung page all TV's were given in inches only.
It's not that hard to switch to a new system of measuring. The metric countries are a proof of this, but think about EU countries switching to Euros. For a few years the prices in a converting country were told in old currency and EUR, then halfway prices were told in EUR and old currency. Then the switch was done and only EUR was used, and it worked fine.
How and when do you cool down the laptop ? Or does it do it automatically?
Does the laptop have its configuration software (Gigabyte Control Centrer) installed by default?
Quick question, can you always replace a router given by your internet provider, or are there some cases where you cannot?
I bought a Aorus 15.6" with a 2060 in January. It is great, I
would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Hows it running after a year? and how hot does the CPU get?
@@jaanjaved4680 It still runs well. The CPU isnt anything abnormal. It does get hot but I haven't noticed performance decreases from thermal throttling. Full disclosure I have fallen back to playing some older games that aren't taxing it too hard. For the money it I am happy with the purchase but in 2022 I wouldn't step up to the next gen
I bought the same laptop worked fine but I get blue screens and displays constantly crashing after the 1st week when the voltage gets too high I’m not sure if it’s just because I have 2 extra monitors or there’s a setting I have to disable I can’t find any help online just updating drivers to see if that helps and disabling hyperthreading
Wow, I was expecting 3k. That looks like a pretty good value.
That fan noise is hilariously Intel.
I got a Zephyrus G14 a few weeks ago with a Ryzen 9 processor and 3060. Fan noise is extremely quiet. I thought I'd maybe regret my decision after seeing this video, but after seeing the build quality, hearing those FANS, and seeing the relatively small performance difference...not to mention the way, way higher price, I think I'm happy lol
