Hi guys, first time watching and really enjoying it! I want to travel to Serbia and Ukraine early next year, this is making me even more excited. And hungry. Subscribed! Cheers!
The basic (by me the best) 2 condiments for pljeskavica are cabbage and onions . Sometimes add urnebes salad. Mostly important is the meat mixture inside .
You're kind of wrong on the pizza, we usually don't put that many sauces on our pizzas, I don't know why she put that salad on there, it's usually not a thing, I think it's the places style of making pizza
The city of Niš is birth place of Burek. And there you can eat the best burek in Balkan’s. Pekara/bakery Anton in Niš has the best burek. You need to know, when you eat burek, be sure to buy yogurt with it. The best way to enjoy burek is to always take one sip of yogurt with a burek bite. It is the best combination in your mouth, that's how everyone here eats burek. And the most important thing for yogurt is to shake it before use. Enjoy 😉👍🏻
If you wanna to try real pljeskavica in Serbia you should go south, to the city of Niš or Leskovac. Certainly not Belgrade. If you liked that much pljeskavica in BG you would be blown away from the original taste of it. Just go to any local kafana in city of Niš or Leskovac and order next: "Pljekavicu umešanu sa lukom, prociju uštipaka, moravsku i albansku salatu." Enjoy. You can thank me later ;-)
@@chickenlover657 Aahaaa... So thats why people from Belgrade, Novi Sad, and rest of Serbia first ask where is kafana "Mrak" ,or "Mehana" when they come to Niš... They just wanna doublecheck (every time😁) that BG has the same quality barbeque as South of Serbia... You are right "Leskovački roštilj" that you can find im Austria, Swicerland, Hugari, Croatia, Bosnia, Grece, Bulgaria, etc, is the same as in Leskovac.... Hell we have so many people in Germany they must have better pljeskavica in Munich then Leskovac for sure. 😂🤣
Bucko is the legendary pizza corner. Their pizzas are just average without toppings, however, toppings have unique taste and work they magic flawlessly. I suggest you try out the „beef salad topping“, you will be amazed. As for pljeskavica and grill meat in general, go check out „Loki“ at Dorcol‘s part of the town. Also, you wanna try „pancakes“ at „Glumac“ and burek at „Trpkovic“ (Slavija). Have fun and eat well 🍽🍻
The next time you go to Serbia, go to the Kapitsa restaurant. It is located in Dimitrovgrad near the border with Bulgaria. The food there is unique and you won't regret it
Try chicken or beef salad next time, you'll like it even more. Best though are the meaty foods like "cevapi" and "gurmanska pljeskavica". Welcome to Belgrade, hope you enjoy the stay.
You said it right, pljeskavica is more handy to eat. Why burger rise on 3-4 floors, how to bite it? And the most important thing, besides fresh food, the most important is good and fresh bread...lepinja, pogača...
Just got to interrupt.. For authentic food you got to investigate.. Even though u can find most things in Belgrade, Different food is best in different cities and restaurants /fast food places... Not just wander the capital and try out things (which isn't bad but can lead to a misinterpretation) as for the bucko pizza.. Like.. Nobody serves it like that anywhere 😅
so as a guy coming from serbia, you hit the jackpot with that burger (pljeskavica) in most cases buns tend to be covered in flour and not roasted enough, while meat can sometimes be a bit dry. There's also cases where there will be too much bread going on which would ruin the flavor. This is one of the rare places where the bread seems to be right while it the meat seems tasty! If you find your self in a serbian restourant tho, i reccomend you tried filled burger (pljeskavica) it's usually spelled like this on the menu "punjena pljeskavica" or like this "Пуњена Пљескавица"
Very good thing to say in first 5 min of video is how something is better in Albania then in Serbia. Go on the street and tell that to some people so u see how they react.
Guys, thanks for this, you are very nice people, but of course this is only a really small part of street food you can try at Belgrade,my hometown, which I meess so mutch❤️

I am from Serbia and never had that kind of pizza.....something to try for sure! When in Serbia, try to get to know people and get invited to someone's house for dinner. That is another level. I mean, restaurants are good but homemade is way better. You will see. Plus, you will make friends. :-) If you ever go to Novi Sad, visit restaurant Vrdnicka Kula (about 30 min away from Novi Sad, in Vrdnik). You will never wanna leave. Food, live music....trust me.
Don't experiment with toppings if you don't know - take onions to the "pljeskavica", and / or kaymak (sr. kajmak), a kind of cream-cheese. Similar to here: ruclips.net/video/sc-fF9Li1vQ/видео.html ^^
U should try some of the local food if u are up for that . Most of that u can find in Belgrade but for domestic specialities u should move south. .. Something like " SARMA , PIHTIJE, CORBA , PASULJ SA REBRIMA , SVADBARSKI KUPUS, KARAĐORĐEVA SNICLA, . Many salads . U are in time now we have winter salads.

Hi guys, first time watching and really enjoying it! I want to travel to Serbia and Ukraine early next year, this is making me even more excited. And hungry. Subscribed! Cheers!
You are making me hungry with all the nice street food.
The basic (by me the best) 2 condiments for pljeskavica are cabbage and onions . Sometimes add urnebes salad. Mostly important is the meat mixture inside .
Tucana paprika i eventualno luk..Klasik :D
You're kind of wrong on the pizza, we usually don't put that many sauces on our pizzas, I don't know why she put that salad on there, it's usually not a thing, I think it's the places style of making pizza
After watching you vlog I have to go eat because you make me hungry. Good job
Enjoy 😉👍🏻
"birthplace of burek"??????, pa ne siri dezinformacije, mladozenjo :)))))
A sta bi sa Bosnom😂, najbolji burek ubedljivo.
I started modding a video game on my PC, somehow I ended up here and now I'm hungry, cheers from Serbia :D
You need to try Šiš cevap - shish cevap in the street called - Ulica Gladnih in Belgrade 🤞
If you wanna to try real pljeskavica in Serbia you should go south, to the city of Niš or Leskovac. Certainly not Belgrade.
If you liked that much pljeskavica in BG you would be blown away from the original taste of it.
Just go to any local kafana in city of Niš or Leskovac and order next: "Pljekavicu umešanu sa lukom, prociju uštipaka, moravsku i albansku salatu."
Enjoy.
@@chickenlover657 Oh no, no, love... I don't get annoyed by haters. 😄 Neither on social media or in real life.
But I'll give you credit for trying. 😁
No wonder the Joker wanted to go home as soon as he won the 2023 NBA championship 😋😋😋😋😋 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’m watching his from London and I miss Belgrade food now I’m hungry 😄😁😭
Amazing video! You guys are full of positivity❤️
Im so happy that you gave a great compliment for our food:D
Bucko is the legendary pizza corner. Their pizzas are just average without toppings, however, toppings have unique taste and work they magic flawlessly. I suggest you try out the „beef salad topping“, you will be amazed. As for pljeskavica and grill meat in general, go check out „Loki“ at Dorcol‘s part of the town. Also, you wanna try „pancakes“ at „Glumac“ and burek at „Trpkovic“ (Slavija). Have fun and eat well 🍽🍻
At Bucko you should have tried different salad called "Govedja"...
You have to go to Bosnia and try Burek there and eat the others Foods in Bosnia 🇧🇦
And Republic of Srpska also
And btw the pizza restoraunt u went on is called bucko and that in english means fatty so yeah
a provalite isti je onaj nas glumac iz filma potera za sreckom, original, long lost brother :D
Isti Srećko 😂😂
Get rostilj and pig meat and please eat . That is very popular in Serbia.Hy for Serbia brother.
Hi nice to see everything Enjoy
Romanians say our pljeskavica is better? That's such a nice thing to say! I'm sending love waves to Romania😄: ❤💗💖💓💕💞
Romanians always hove nothing but love for Serbia! Look at other videos Serbian related and comments from Romania
I love the energy of your videos, and I found it amusing you spoke in Spanish to the lady 😂I felt my brain would betray me like that too
The fact that you say foarte bine ( very good in Romanian ) to that lady in Serbia proofs to me that you became a Romanian :)) . ❤
I don't know who recommended you that bakery but it's one of the best I've eaten at in Belgrade.
I love discovering these small hole in wall places thanks for recommendation will try go
The next time you go to Serbia, go to the Kapitsa restaurant.
Looks great! We ´ll go there just for this pleshkavitsa😀
I love this video I want to eat all I am hungry already 😅😋😅🥰🥰🥰
I want to eat plescavita
so as a guy coming from serbia, you hit the jackpot with that burger (pljeskavica) in most cases buns tend to be covered in flour and not roasted enough, while meat can sometimes be a bit dry.
When you eat burgers and bureks all your life, you get bored just like you roast beef ribs, greetings from Serbia.
😂😂😂
Just have to rewatch this video... couldn't concentrate in the premiere last night coz of....?? sort of busy reading the messages sent 😂😀😀
Good review by you guys on all the street food...wow, the 2nd burger was a huge one. Thanks for showing and sharing with us Serbian street food. Bravo guys !!!
Next time you go, try burek in Trpkovic, cheese and ham burek to die for
Bruh, they really stumbled upon bucko.
That's a prime hangover food.
It just hits different when you are kinda drunk.
Welcome to serbia guys , thank you for this great video next time try the best pljeskavica in Leskovac 😘❤😘❤
that burger thingie DOES look delicious!
soooo good!!!!
Don't experiment with toppings if you don't know - take onions to the "pljeskavica", and / or kaymak (sr. kajmak), a kind of cream-cheese.

You guys are fun. Enjoy Serbia
She should give him urnebes salad with pljeskavica and nothing else!
