@@Farisss11 I think they are planning to do something similar for every region, seems pretty self explanatory to me, but they might do some gaps between them. If it's only this, the banner is obviously terrible, but wait until it's the latest 2 regions, and ppl will love it, the concept is good, it's just that Monstad is powercrept at this point. Also the game is a few years old know, so you are expected to have a Bennet, Sucrose, Fish at this point and the first two get their biggest power inc early. Also most New 4 *s get their value at C6, by the time you have enough wishes and actually pull a C6 4* again you are expected to have a C1 Beni or C sucrose which means them being on the banner is not really good. If Gouro for example get the cdmg on C1 his value on the banner would massivly drop, because there is no real reason to pull for more, thats why early con characters are generally not welcome on banners. What you can do, and what I usually do on weapon banners, is that I try to build pity on weapon banners where I want the 5-4* s if they come early it's great if not, then I can save up for a later banner where I try to snipe the 5* or have enough to pull for another one, which is still not guaranteed, but it's f2p life and the odds are okay. (Obv on this new one the second 5* is guaranteed)
I thought the primary benefit of the Chronicle Wish was being able to selectively go after 5-Star weapons that no longer appear on any banners and not having to deal with the 1 out 3 bullshit of the regular weapon banner.

Yeah, that is the benefit. Zajeff is just too tunnel visioned on trashing the banner because it's not good for *most * people. But it's actually good for Hunter's Path and Beacon. And losing a 50/50 to a mid limited 5*, is still better than losing it to Qiqi.

The next one is likely Liyue, then Inazuma, etc. It's also nice to have a way to selectively target standard banner 5 stars if you want them. To be blunt, anything that lets you bypass the RNG of the standard banner and the weapon banner should go in the win column.

If we wait till he's on a Liyue themed chronicled banner, we could potentially lose 50/50 and get Limited Liyue 5*s like Ganyu, Childe, HuTao, ect. (or get cons for them). That sounds so much better then wasting my guaranteed on Xiao now, so I'm picking up Chiori instead since she'll be an amazing addition to my Itto team.
Yun Jin just doesn't feel good to use. She really needed multiple hits on her skill to make fav feel good. Her ER requirements are still really high for a solo geo to slot her into multiple teams. I was excited to get her c6 finally for about 5 days until I stopped using her again.

Yun Jin will be good once we get a character that deals Normal ATK damage while off-field. Currently, you're wasting 90-100 stacks of her Burst everytime you use it since no one can make use of those stacks outside of Co-op. Will we ever get that kind of character? Probably... it's not completely out of the question since we do technically have an off-field Normal ATK in the game. It's Childe's Riptide (death & bow CA only).
Oh I completely agree and at THAT point you should try to pull for her.... She does work for ONE character, Yoimiya , so if you have that character shes great
Maybe she will be good with Arlecchino (COPIUM). Arlecchino is a normal attack-heavy dps character and well, playing her with a shielder is massive dps loss and her best teams has no interruption resistance while Arlecchino wants the atk buff given by bennett or/and Chevreuse. Maybe the additive dmg bonus will help Arle in double geo teams just enough to push her shielded teams with the vape teams with Bennett

What would be c6 dori’s with furina best f2p weapon outside of fav, is it forest regalia (sumeru craftable)? And would bell be kinda competitive (the shield might be sometimes useful to not get interrupted and the hp is nice)? I kinda just want to use on at least one character and not feel like crap haha

I want Chiori, I want Yunjin cons as a Yoimiya main and I want to play C6 Dori 'cus of that exact team with Fischl, Furina and Nahida since it leaves my other side perfectly clear to run Yoimiya, so this is a pretty good banner for me. Here's hoping things can go my way tomorrow.
Imagine getting a stringless... I'm really trying to ._. Was thinking about getting Chiori to finally give my Itto an actual team (and because she's just really pretty) but have to delay her to the rerun because I want Kazuha more. Tired of relying on Sucrose all the time.
I really hope Hoyo reruns Chiori somewhat soon-ish even if she's a Geo sub-dps because I desperately need Kazuha and am also saving for Arlecchino so I can't afford Chiori this time around but I definitely want her.

My c6 itto and c6 gorou disagree with this banner shaming. We dont gotta do calculus to do as much or more than you. Plus, any content that mono geo cant handle i got a diluc, wriothesley, childe, and alhaitham in my pocket.
if you on field dori she needs almost no energy because her burst just fills itself back up. she also benefits a lot from interruption resistance, so I tend to prefer xingqiu or beidou over fischl.
As a Noelle main who doesnt have C6 Gorou, I hate it that they always combine him with Itto and also release a 5 star where I dont see value (only speaking for my Noelle team here, I dont have Itto and Albedo. I run Noelle, Gorou, Zhongli, Furina). But hey, atleast I can save for Arlecchino
Chiori is better than Albedo with Noelle, even at C0 with no constructs. At C1 she is much better of course, tho Navia is still better than both. But Chiori's rotation is longer than Navia so Noelle actually on fields for longer and so a full stamina spin becomes viable and she can even finish it off with a plunge, its a fun alternative playstyle.

For me the character banner is perfect: I do play Geo teams and my Gorou is only C1, my Dori is C5 and I intend to play her once I get C6, my Yun Jin is not C6 and I honestly can't remember the last character banner where I didn't have C6 on any of the 4*

Hoyoverse is really trolling now. First they lock a condition behind Chiori working with Navia by giving her the c1. But they really slap us in the face by giving us no usuable 4 stars for a Navia/Chiori core. So now we are forced to possibly go into pity 4 times and get nothing useful after all those pulls.
even worse is the fact that (1) a navia main looking for vertical investment would gain better returns from furina c1+c2 (not withstanding the fact that furina is used in like 100 other teams that they could also put her in while c1 on chiori would only benefit like 1 other team: noelle) (2) a newer player looking to pull itto might possibly even be tricked into thinking yunjin is good with itto just because she's also geo om

As many four-stars I have built up, and eyeing Chiori and Itto, I've got an interest in building Yun Jin (finally something of a Yoimiya main myself) and Gorou (aforementioned Geo characters), and prolly Dori for the flex~ Helps that I already have Kazuha and Neuvillette, though I am tempted by the latter's first constellation...
There is so much wrong with this video. You've had serious lapse in judgement. The chronicle banner is SIGNIFICANTLY better than the weapon banner or the character banner if you want something that's on it.

Noelle was just on a banner. I agree that she is more versatile than Itto. This girl can keep you alive when everyone else is getting one-shotted by a weekly boss. And unlike Zhongli, you can get Noelle for free, and her shield is nearly as good.
I don't know what's with Hoyo always half-assing every X.5 version. Like, most if not all characters from this Chronicle Wish are bad anyway, they might as well add them to the standard banner.
Navia is the only geo I use so I'm going for chiori. I'll run them together and also use her with Ayaka, raiden, and Yoimiya. Plan on doing a vape team of her, yelan, furina, and Bennett too.
A bit curious about Chiori's weapon if you use it on furina (+ another geo on the team) is it her new bis compared to her signature ? 24% skill damage + 28% hp vs 32% NA damage + 48% skill damage ( if you already have 40K hp from artefacts )
feel like the chronicled wishes banner could not be too bad for some new players, if they're not too fussed about what five stars they get, getting their first copy of sucrose, Bennett, Fischl, diona, or rosaria at a heightened rate could be pretty worthwhile, though obviously none of that is guaranteed lol. also losing your 50/50 to eula is pretty funny.
Yes, for the majority of players, these are an easy skip. However, a friend of mine only likes Itto and Geo in general, and he managed to get both Chiori and Itto as well as their weapons within a RIDICULOUSY low amount of pulls. Love to see it.
I love chiori's design and originally planned to get her but i'm saving for clorinde. If clorinde didn't exist then i'd pull chiori bcus idc about any other chars lol
they pay attention enough to know what characters are good so why give us dori on a double geo banner with the other two geo supports...... like make a new support that works for geo really well. idk
Dori at C4 is good. Dori at C6 is great. And SacGreat with an ER sand pretty much sorts out her ER requirements. So at C4 you have a healer who can Insta heal people. We're talking 10k+ heal ticks. Saved my ass many times.
this chronicled wish is kinda bad however i do think it has potential to be very good depending on the lineup, if they did a liyue version for example it would be much better, theres only two standard liyue 5*'s so there would be 4 limited (better odds to get a limited 5* if you lose 50/50) and the 4*'s for liyue are generally much better than the ones were getting in this chronicled wish.
For anyone still thinking, here's a tip if you should pull or not: Do you feel like playing itto for the next year and just him? Do you love smashing everything with huge attacks? If you think it's worth it go for him. If not, just skip, because Chiori sucks by herself and Itto needs a lot of time and primogems to pay off. But he pays off a lot, since he is viable / very strong on pretty much any abyss that is not super super hard, when you have his team.
ive been grinding since a week before the banner and i got chiori super early in im now midway through inazuma and she was stuck underleveled because couldnt get materials and as a beginner who has been playing a lot with these banners they are not good lol everyone is kinda niche shes pretty and is kinda fun tho but im stuck with ninguang xiangling and bennet because i dont have anybody to use her with but i like her so wtv
Itto and Yae Miko will always be the 2 character I want but I can never wish for. Arlecchino is now a priority although from the recent leaks I don't like her so much. Also. Chronicle wish is one of the biggest scam ever. Hope none of the chatacters I want will end up here but I can really see Kokomi on this banner 🫠
I'm going for them. I love Itto as a character, so I've wanted to give him a shot forever. But I'm the kind of player that would rather play characters I like, than characters that are meta or even good, in some cases (looking at you Dehya, you badass pathetic creature). So I'm jazzed to finally have one of the last units I've wanted to have on my account finally coming up. I'll give rolling Chiori a shot if I have any wishes left, because I don't like Albedo. I do think this banner is strategically placed to see what people do about the chronicled wish, primarily, or that they might squeeze a bit more on the upcoming Neuvillette Kazuha banner.

Question, if Dragon's Bane's passive was double of what it is now, would it be a good weapon? Because currently it feels like literally nobody (other than Hu Tao and the Polearm Archon) cares about the passive, the only reason people use it is for the EM in teams that use transformative reactions. So I was wondering if doubling the passive would make a very big difference in its usability (especially considering that, unlike every other weapon, there's only 2 standard 4* polearms, of which one is useful and the other is Dragon's Bane)
It's already a good weapon right now, just narrow in focus due to the specific element check. Hydro or pyro aura limits the passive to reverse vape (Hu Tao and XL) or reverse melt (Rosaria).
For Yun Jin. I know Navia's main DMG contribution is her Skill but she has a multi hit, gets free 40% NA damage from her Ascension. Would Yun Jin be a good option to get the Geo Resonance?

Was thinking about getting Chiori to finally give my Itto an actual team (and because she's just really pretty) but have to delay her to the rerun because I want Kazuha more. Tired of relying on Sucrose all the time.
I really hope Hoyo reruns Chiori somewhat soon-ish even if she's a Geo sub-dps because I desperately need Kazuha and am also saving for Arlecchino so I can't afford Chiori this time around but I definitely want her.

but yeah, this is remarkably meh.. Thing is, I have like no Geo besides MC and Ning for a team, so my Chiori would really like to have Itto, but there is NO way I'm pulling for him with the back half of 4.5 and Arle in 4.6 coming.
I do want Chiori's sword too though, and at least Itto's is not absolutely terrible like SOMEONE'S WEAPON (glares at my two Baizhu donuts in disgust), but I really have like nobody to use it on, so if I do pull, I REALLY hope things go better than they did getting Furina's sword..

Also nothing wrong with 4.5 first half being a full skip and save banner phase. Everyone can stack wishes for Kazuha and Neuvillette or if you already have them you can save even more for Papachino coming in 4.6, which imo is fantastic for players

As a Itto/geo lover, this banner was amazing. As a f2p I saved enough pulls to get c1 chiori, c6 Gorou, c6 yujin, c6 dori. I am super happy.
My c6 itto and c6 gorou disagree with this banner shaming. We dont gotta do calculus to do as much or more than you. Plus, any content that mono geo cant handle i got a diluc, wriothesley, childe, and alhaitham in my pocket.

if you on field dori she needs almost no energy because her burst just fills itself back up. she also benefits a lot from interruption resistance, so I tend to prefer xingqiu or beidou over fischl.
It's fun how Dori C6 probably will be great in some stupid scenarios.
As a Noelle main who doesnt have C6 Gorou, I hate it that they always combine him with Itto and also release a 5 star where I dont see value (only speaking for my Noelle team here, I dont have Itto and Albedo. I run Noelle, Gorou, Zhongli, Furina).
But hey, atleast I can save for Arlecchino
Chiori is better than Albedo with Noelle, even at C0 with no constructs. At C1 she is much better of course, tho Navia is still better than both. But Chiori's rotation is longer than Navia so Noelle actually on fields for longer and so a full stamina spin becomes viable and she can even finish it off with a plunge, its a fun alternative playstyle.

For me the character banner is perfect: I do play Geo teams and my Gorou is only C1, my Dori is C5 and I intend to play her once I get C6, my Yun Jin is not C6 and I honestly can't remember the last character banner where I didn't have C6 on any of the 4*

Sorry if I am mistaken, but doesn’t gorou’s burst move with him, while the skill forces you to play circle impact? I always assumed that is the main reason why the burst is good.
Hoyoverse is really trolling now. First they lock a condition behind Chiori working with Navia by giving her the c1. But they really slap us in the face by giving us no usuable 4 stars for a Navia/Chiori core. So now we are forced to possibly go into pity 4 times and get nothing useful after all those pulls.
even worse is the fact that
(1) a navia main looking for vertical investment would gain better returns from furina c1+c2 (not withstanding the fact that furina is used in like 100 other teams that they could also put her in while c1 on chiori would only benefit like 1 other team: noelle)
(2) a newer player looking to pull itto might possibly even be tricked into thinking yunjin is good with itto just because she's also geo om

Conceptually the chronicled wish is interesting, once it gets to other regions, but with the fate point system idk if I'll ever be pulling on it.
As many four-stars I have built up, and eyeing Chiori and Itto, I've got an interest in building Yun Jin (finally something of a Yoimiya main myself) and Gorou (aforementioned Geo characters), and prolly Dori for the flex~
Helps that I already have Kazuha and Neuvillette, though I am tempted by the latter's first constellation...

There is so much wrong with this video. You've had serious lapse in judgement. The chronicle banner is SIGNIFICANTLY better than the weapon banner or the character banner if you want something that's on it.

Noelle was just on a banner. I agree that she is more versatile than Itto. This girl can keep you alive when everyone else is getting one-shotted by a weekly boss. And unlike Zhongli, you can get Noelle for free, and her shield is nearly as good.

Like, most if not all characters from this Chronicle Wish are bad anyway, they might as well add them to the standard banner.
Navia is the only geo I use so I'm going for chiori. I'll run them together and also use her with Ayaka, raiden, and Yoimiya. Plan on doing a vape team of her, yelan, furina, and Bennett too.
A bit curious about Chiori's weapon if you use it on furina (+ another geo on the team) is it her new bis compared to her signature ? 24% skill damage + 28% hp vs 32% NA damage + 48% skill damage ( if you already have 40K hp from artefacts )

feel like the chronicled wishes banner could not be too bad for some new players, if they're not too fussed about what five stars they get, getting their first copy of sucrose, Bennett, Fischl, diona, or rosaria at a heightened rate could be pretty worthwhile, though obviously none of that is guaranteed lol. also losing your 50/50 to eula is pretty funny.
finally, time to get back and pull my c6 dori
Yes, for the majority of players, these are an easy skip. However, a friend of mine only likes Itto and Geo in general, and he managed to get both Chiori and Itto as well as their weapons within a RIDICULOUSY low amount of pulls. Love to see it.

Dori at C4 is good. Dori at C6 is great. And SacGreat with an ER sand pretty much sorts out her ER requirements.
So at C4 you have a healer who can Insta heal people. We're talking 10k+ heal ticks. Saved my ass many times.

Quite funny how in all those units Dori is the most playable one by far
this chronicled wish is kinda bad however i do think it has potential to be very good depending on the lineup, if they did a liyue version for example it would be much better, theres only two standard liyue 5*'s so there would be 4 limited (better odds to get a limited 5* if you lose 50/50) and the 4*'s for liyue are generally much better than the ones were getting in this chronicled wish.

With what 4* characters are in the chronicle banner, I'm a bit curious how it would look like if they really make region based rotation.
For anyone still thinking, here's a tip if you should pull or not: Do you feel like playing itto for the next year and just him? Do you love smashing everything with huge attacks? If you think it's worth it go for him. If not, just skip, because Chiori sucks by herself and Itto needs a lot of time and primogems to pay off.
But he pays off a lot, since he is viable / very strong on pretty much any abyss that is not super super hard, when you have his team.
ive been grinding since a week before the banner and i got chiori super early in im now midway through inazuma and she was stuck underleveled because couldnt get materials and as a beginner who has been playing a lot with these banners they are not good lol everyone is kinda niche shes pretty and is kinda fun tho but im stuck with ninguang xiangling and bennet because i dont have anybody to use her with but i like her so wtv

I'm going for them. I love Itto as a character, so I've wanted to give him a shot forever. But I'm the kind of player that would rather play characters I like, than characters that are meta or even good, in some cases (looking at you Dehya, you badass pathetic creature). So I'm jazzed to finally have one of the last units I've wanted to have on my account finally coming up. I'll give rolling Chiori a shot if I have any wishes left, because I don't like Albedo.
I do think this banner is strategically placed to see what people do about the chronicled wish, primarily, or that they might squeeze a bit more on the upcoming Neuvillette Kazuha banner.

Question, if Dragon's Bane's passive was double of what it is now, would it be a good weapon?
Because currently it feels like literally nobody (other than Hu Tao and the Polearm Archon) cares about the passive, the only reason people use it is for the EM in teams that use transformative reactions. So I was wondering if doubling the passive would make a very big difference in its usability (especially considering that, unlike every other weapon, there's only 2 standard 4* polearms, of which one is useful and the other is Dragon's Bane)
It's already a good weapon right now, just narrow in focus due to the specific element check.
Hydro or pyro aura limits the passive to reverse vape (Hu Tao and XL) or reverse melt (Rosaria).
I want constellations of all of these 4* characters (which is super rare), but neither of the 5* lol
For Yun Jin. I know Navia's main DMG contribution is her Skill but she has a multi hit, gets free 40% NA damage from her Ascension. Would Yun Jin be a good option to get the Geo Resonance?

It seems like they thought Chiori would sell way better than she's going to, should've made her stronger but then, she's also basically just better Albedo so they might not want to power creep on Albedo that hard.
