Wanted to elaborate a bit more on the weapons, depending on your exact team there definitely can be situations where Bacon or even Redhorn can be better than her signature weapon, though I'd argue that the ATK buff to the team would still make it slightly better overall. That being said, the gap between basically all of her good 5* options is small enough that I wouldn't encourage getting her signature if you already have one of them. Akuoumarou can also be much better if the teammates you're using all have high energy costs, and serpent spine isn't as good if you can't maintain the stacks Also, I actually had a surprising amount of fun doing this so let me know if you'd like to see more videos doing pre-release analysis for units released before I started doing them!

Skyward pride is very good on Eula. She's the only one that can fully take advantage of everything the sword has to offer. ER main stat very useful for Eula and the 8 physical vacuum blades spreads out her damage so you don't rely on the pop at the end too much.
I was unlucky enough to get r3 pride from standard over the years and can confirm Eula greatly appreciates it. The front-loading of the vaccuum blades is really nice and they seem to scale really well with refines. I prefer it on her to WGS
Hopefully during the beta they make her burst animation just a little bit faster so that she can synergize with more supports! Would be a shame for her to release in a way where she doesn’t work very well with the characters she’s supposed to work well with!
Whats funny is that when I got Eula I had no idea what she did, I just wanted her because she looked pretty and didn't know if she was even good, so a pre-release analysis on her would've helped me finalise the decision on if she was worth rolling for.
Wait they are adding new element? THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING. I am sure Eula is just the first of many physical units we will get soon to complete her playstyle.
If you guys didnt know, its been leamed that she pairs well with Kazuha as she'll have a unique interation where she allows swirl to lower phys resistances.
For a little bit, I thought you were doing the thing where people called Dehya Xinyan when discussing her leaks... Especially cause Mika's release made me assume a 5* phys carry tuned to his support would come out not too long after him, I'd personally rather see them release a 5* that fixes the Eula + Mika issues. Before Mika's release, I actually mistook him for an Anemo character as phys support, that would've been an interesting way to give Eula grouping and power up off-fielders like Fischl without just wanting to replace Eula herself.
i heard that qiqi is gonna be her best teammate for particle regeneration!! should i build her phys(eye of perception) or as a burst support (noblesse and jade cutter)?
Eula gets memed and shit on so much that a lot of her issues are wayyy overstated, but this is a pretty fair review. As someone who’s used Eula to 9 star floor 12 every abyss since her last rerun (including the newest one), IMO relative to abyss she’s fine, but relative to other teams she’s bad especially with dendro running around. I’m coping for a phys-albedo or literally any phys unit that actually synergizes with Eula. Like, surely Mika isn’t the best they could do.
This is copium at its finest. I’ve had Eula and her signature since her last banner, use her with Zhongli, Engulfing/Skyward Rosaria, and Engulfing Raiden. She can’t clear Abyss without some insane luck. Unless you’ve got Cons on your Eula/Raiden, you’re not 9 starring these most recent Abyss cycles. I was really close with that whale team, but it wasn’t enough. And that’s with a very fast clear on other half because I “somehow” got C4 Ayaka with Mistsplitter, C1 Hu Tao with Homa, C1 Nilou with Key, Yelan with Elegy, etc. Also adding on that she struggles heavily with ER, I’ve got 140 on her and she still doesn’t get her Burst off cooldown sometimes including Rosaria particle funneling and Raiden burst.
@@aquatazer there’s literally a C0 4star weapon Eula clear of the current abyss on the front page of genshin’s subreddit right now, by someone called “vengeance enjoyer” on YT. Abyss is really annoying rn, but if you can’t clear with a whaled out other half and multiple limited 5 star weapons, i’d recommend peeping their vid, they give good tips on grouping and such.
Eula is never the meta option, but she just works in any abyss. Since her release, there was not a single abyss floor 12 where I couldn't use her. This time, I used Kazuha, Eula, Raiden, and Bennett on the first half of floor 12. If you're in disbelief, check vengeance enjoyer YT channel.
This felt more like a Mika diss track than a pre-release for a while lol Anyways, I should use my Eula more, or at least try to. Some Abyss enemies are so annoying that I end up doing the easiest thing available by default, but her gameplay is quite fun to me.
It's definitely not the best team I've played or the most fun, but Eula hyperbloom with Kuki and Yelan is honestly one of the most synergistic and just generally elegant teams I've ever experienced. Getting the superconduct and healing from Kuki combined with Eula's grimheart stacks for defensive utility, Yelan's damage buff boosting Eula's burst and activating on normal attacks, and the blooms allowing Kuki to deal very high personal damage as well. Eula does lose some personal damage switching to Fav greatsword, probably between 20 and 40 percent depending on what your other options are, but it also makes the rotations super smooth if you have it decently refined (I have it at R5). Just a really well built team where everything meshes to form a greater whole.
Man really dropped a legitimate 30 minute character guide for Eula under the pretence of a prerelease analysis I was getting tired of this meme, but I'm in awe of the commitment to the bit here
I was once a Eula main. She's still one of the most satisfying individual units to play. With her chunky normals, the buffs and sound effects associated with her Skill, the Shattered Lightfall Swords going off, and of course the nuke drop, she feels really great when everything lines up right. She's also much more self-sufficient than most other units, considering the buffs she gives herself with Grimheart stacks and her passives, and her numbers are pretty huge. I would argue that, if we look at everything in a vacuum, Eula might the single strongest unit in the game. Unfortunately, this is a game where your supports matter, and enemies often don't cooperate. So many buffs run out before her nuke drops. As Zajef says, Mika was supposedly created specifically to support her, but he's incredibly bad at doing so. There's also a lot to say regarding the way so many enemies will either die to her normal attacks, or become immune or otherwise untouchable, leaving her Burst to hit nothing but air. As for direct buffs to Eula's kit, there are a few I would make if I had any say in the matter. Besides shortening her Burst animation, allowing her to catch particles during said animation, and allowing her Burst to detonate early by pressing Q again, there's one massive change that I would love to see. It will never happen, and it's going to sound like blasphemy to any Eula mains reading this, but hear me out: I would prefer if she didn't have her nuke as the main source of her damage. Keep the 7-second duration and sword drop at the end, but rather than build stacks on hit, instead do coordinated AoE Physical attacks on hit, using the same scaling as the stacks currently do. It would achieve the same output against a meaty, stationary target, but it makes her less reliant on Crit Rate and (much like Skyward Pride) it allows her to more evenly distribute damage against mobs. My two cents.
The other issue with Mika is that he makes the team even worse against one of physical's biggest issues: shields. His cryo application is so horrible. You're better off with someone that applies cryo more frequently, or, better yet, someone that applies something other than cryo frequently, so that you can handle a greater variety of shields. And this is yet another aspect that makes Mika not the support Eula wants/needs. You want that variety of damage... but he does jack all for anything but physical. So you're better off with a general support, like Bennett, who will buff Eula and Raiden. Short of it, if you are interested in damage per screenshot, sure, go pick an enemy that phys doesn't need more damage against, use Mika, and screenshot that big number. But if you want a Eula team you can use effectively in a variety of situations, don't bother investing in Mika.
As far as missing a crit meaning a reset, that's kind of overstated. It is an issue IF you are at the failure line. But if you are clearing the floor in 2:40s, it is not a big deal. Likewise, if you are using one of the better Eula-using teams (aka not a hypercarry one), you just use another character to finish things off. Of course, with the problems phys has, you are more likely to be at that line than if using other, less problematic damage types. But regardless, it is mostly an issue because people's team construction makes it an issue, and can typically be avoided by not building bad teams.
I wanna say, having recently accidentally pulled Eula, I am very glad this video exists. Incredibly informative and helpful. Definitely would love to see more of these post release "pre-release" vids. 😂
I actually started playing Genshin because of Eula because I really liked her design. As for her play style, I like the concept of it, being able to take advantage of physical and shatter damage, but in practice, it doesn't work that well with how Genshin's mechanics work. Eventually, I just stopped using her. Doesn't help that I don't have C6 Mika (only at C3, since I didn't want to go past C2 Ayaka and C2 Shenhe). (BTW, if you couldn't already tell: I'm a time traveler.)
I am from the future! This new character will hold the record for The biggest nuke in the game beating HuTao🔥 Finally after almost 3 years, Hu Tao world record is gonna be beaten lezgooo🤩
I have a Serb step-cousin who is a 3.8 beta tester and has been testing some whacky stuff with the "thighs of winter" as he calls her. So since Cryo doesn't react with Dendro and she needs Superconduct as a Physical carry, you can actually get extra damage in the form of Quicken even if that doesn't really benefit Eula. The same goes for putting a Hydro unit like Yelan who can enable Electro-charged and I guess Frozen+Shatter depending on the enemy. Either way, this ironically makes Eula a competent driver who can still output an okayge amount of DMG even if you don't focus all that much on buffing her. Now this is just what he told me, obviously there's a chance that Hoyo could change things but so far, she's a big flex option.
@@AgnostismPreaching Yes it is All it says is that she will not be available in "Wanderlust Invocation" so they can make another standard banner, name it something else and add her there
Can't wait for the Eula post relesse once she's finally out and people get a chance to test her! I'm hoping her stacks aren't capped at 14 with C0 even if you're able to reach more hits with attackspeed buffs, say like 16-17 hits :) That would be dumb and very scummy, right? Hoyoverse isn't like that!

My brain is stuck in between "this is satire right..?" and "people actually think Eula is a new character??" lmaoooo As a Eula main since her first banner, I can say that she really really SLAPS if built correctly. I love Eula so much that she's the only character I actually went for her C1 on purpose. Now I'm saving everything for her sig weapon.

Whats funny is that when I got Eula I had no idea what she did, I just wanted her because she looked pretty and didn't know if she was even good, so a pre-release analysis on her would've helped me finalise the decision on if she was worth rolling for.
Same bro, I got her just because of her looks and the fact that she's a physical unit made me love her even more.
I kinda did the same but i was a physical main also. I still am lol
This video PHYSICALLY hurt me
Wait they are adding new element? THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING. I am sure Eula is just the first of many physical units we will get soon to complete her playstyle.
so happy that the cryo hypostasis finally has a character after all this time
This analysis was so good, I feel like I'm maining the character for 2 years already. Amazing as always!
I feel like Zajooofff will have a hard time topping this pre release….this is soo damn accurate with predictions
This character looks pretty fun to play! I bet she will have good synergy with raiden shogun for superconduct!
LMAO I love the intro already
i heard that qiqi is gonna be her best teammate for particle regeneration!! should i build her phys(eye of perception) or as a burst support (noblesse and jade cutter)?
Finally, a flex character for my hyperbloom team.
This Eula character does seem promising but my problem with her kit is that I need the damage now instead of 7 sec later
I don't usually watch leaked content, but I guess this will be an exception
Eula gets memed and shit on so much that a lot of her issues are wayyy overstated, but this is a pretty fair review. As someone who’s used Eula to 9 star floor 12 every abyss since her last rerun (including the newest one), IMO relative to abyss she’s fine, but relative to other teams she’s bad especially with dendro running around.
I’m coping for a phys-albedo or literally any phys unit that actually synergizes with Eula. Like, surely Mika isn’t the best they could do.
Eh? Eula already released?
I thought they release her on next patch

copium
10 out of 10 tenten approved
Eula is never the meta option, but she just works in any abyss. Since her release, there was not a single abyss floor 12 where I couldn't use her. This time, I used Kazuha, Eula, Raiden, and Bennett on the first half of floor 12. If you're in disbelief, check vengeance enjoyer YT channel.
It's been over 500 Days since EulASS escaped NPC Jail
Just love how he maintain the sarcasm throughout the video yet still very informative.
This felt more like a Mika diss track than a pre-release for a while lol
Anyways, I should use my Eula more, or at least try to. Some Abyss enemies are so annoying that I end up doing the easiest thing available by default, but her gameplay is quite fun to me.
Are we gaslighting new players that eula didn't come out in 1.5 and was an inside joke all this time? I'm down
Man I can't wait for this character release. She is going to be amazing
Can't wait for her to officially come out. Her leaked model and animations are so pretty... not that I look at leaks or anything.
Damn she's going to break the meta
IM DYING 💀💀💀💀
FUN FACT
One of the leakers got not 1 but 2 STRIKES for old eula leaks this week😂😂😂😂😂
I hear the voice of fate, calling my name in humble supplications
So Mika and Eula suck together in single player, but in co op when they're both on field a lot of the issues are resolved
i'm imagining someone out of the loop watching this video like "wut, i thought eula was out already"
Man really dropped a legitimate 30 minute character guide for Eula under the pretence of a prerelease analysis
I was getting tired of this meme, but I'm in awe of the commitment to the bit here
Eula/Candace hyperbloom team let's go!
can't wait for eula's post release!
proud to say that i've been beta testing her for 2 years now and I love her
You are a genius for making this video
It will never happen, and it's going to sound like blasphemy to any Eula mains reading this, but hear me out:
I would prefer if she didn't have her nuke as the main source of her damage.

I hope this character works with Qiqi as a battery
I am from the future!
This new character will hold the record for The biggest nuke in the game beating HuTao🔥
Finally after almost 3 years, Hu Tao world record is gonna be beaten lezgooo🤩
I am flabbergasted by your ability to play this whole thing straight. I'd've cracked a third of the way in.
Omg omg omg she was teased back in 1.5, finally we are getting her debut banner!! IM SAVING!! thicc thighs save lives REAL
really hope they dont nerf her design before release like they did with rosaria
Wowee new physical carry character! She sounds so unique and powerful I can't wait to try her!!!
I'm on the beta test for her and I can confirm she is very backloaded.
Just look at all that backloading.
Since she looks to be rather mediocre I feel like she'll get the tighnari and dehya treatment and will be added to the standart banner
I actually hope that happens. Her cons are a lot better than most of the standard banner characters we currently have
That's not how gacha laws work
@@AgnostismPreaching Yes it is
All it says is that she will not be available in "Wanderlust Invocation" so they can make another standard banner, name it something else and add her there
absolute madlad
drututt at the end i cant't hahahahahahha
Can't wait for the Eula post relesse once she's finally out and people get a chance to test her!
I'm hoping her stacks aren't capped at 14 with C0 even if you're able to reach more hits with attackspeed buffs, say like 16-17 hits :) That would be dumb and very scummy, right? Hoyoverse isn't like that!
This is probably my favorite zajef video to date 😂
Potentially one of the pre release analysis of all time
it would be amazing if this character got a buff before hitting the banner kek
sarcasm aside i feel that with the power level of other teams going down she might actually be a bit more on terms with characters like yoimiya, xiao, cyno, but i do like running her with aggravate lmao
Editor used the wrong C6 to display when zajef talked about Eula's C6 :pepela:.
As a person who have triple crowned mika i'm sad that he isn't getting a place in meta.
same but double crowned
Man i hope this new character has a healthy and not toxic fanbase!
Surely this wasn't just at release and (not only are there 4 eula mains now) "1st gen" Kazuha mains aren't more toxic Clueless
Gonna start asking in every AskZajef post for his opinion on the best C6 5* cons of the game so far. Honestly would love a tierlist video on C2 and C6 of units. C4 is usually the trash cons so no point in asking for it.
Honestly expected this to be a youtube short of him saying “No.”
My brain is stuck in between "this is satire right..?" and "people actually think Eula is a new character??" lmaoooo As a Eula main since her first banner, I can say that she really really SLAPS if built correctly. I love Eula so much that she's the only character I actually went for her C1 on purpose. Now I'm saving everything for her sig weapon.
bros living in 2025 🗿🗿
Im always jealous of you beta testers. I sign up every time and never make it 😩
OMG! IS THAT A NEW CHARACTER ?!
I hope she finally manages to make Physical DMG good if not... as a Cryo unit she at least can be a hyperfridge driver.
*Shatter*
Damn. Gotta start farming the Pale Flame Domain now. Good to see the 4pc bonus finally be of some use
