    @Spaguy @MMK and @GoodStuff Excellent Job my friends!! "Family n friends is what its truly all about not anything else." To me this shows that E.P. was only human. Its actually somewhat closure knowing Elvis's last ambulance ride 2 Baptist Hospital that "Marion Cocke" was the head nurse of all those years. "Our Southern Boy Elvis is one of the things us true Southerners r proud of here in the south." From N. C.myself.!! To everyone who helped in this Fantastic Event @Thetigerdobro !!" "I am Very Greatful to everyone and Excited at the same time for the Opening of the Museum!! @Spaguy So glad u tightened up, my friend!! "Omgosh, almost forgot that the real Elvis Blood Family Jo, Billy, Danny, n Joey Smith will b there to, to talk wt all the Elvis Family!! What more could u ask for.?" "God is Good."👀😁💪🤘⚡❤⚡😎

      @@famous21me - There's no reason to assume that Elvis ever had seen this ambulance before, or ever really ridden in any ambulance as a patient.
      His earlier hospital stays were not critical emergency situations, they were outpatient situations where you go to get admitted at a much more casual pace and arrive in your own vehicle or someone else's.

      As to the question of WHY the Paramedics did Not talk about their experiences on that Day...well, the most probable answer must be that the Presley Family, Graceland Estate attornies or some other very influential mover/fixer person(s) that were related to Elvis...they must have compelled the paramedics--fac to face--to Never repeat anything about what they saw, did, heard and felt during that sad last call when they were trying to revive Elvis.

      @@markperkins8858 - That definitely would be like a needle in a haystack.
      Gurneys are treated like other interchangeable items for an ambulance, like the tubes connecting equipment or the fire extinguishers, and any other gear not part of the actual body of the vehicle... They get rotated out for maintenance or full replacement over time.
      This ambulance was still in service right through the 1980s, so it probably went through numerous gurneys that whole time.
      The only way that that exact gurney would be traceable would be if the department or someone at the hospital marked it as being the one, and even then they'd have to have kept track of while it was still being used, and then set it aside for keeping. It's not impossible but not too likely.

    The showing of the VIN of the chassis proves it was both a Chevrolet originally and a 1975 model chassis. The VIN is C for Chevrolet (it would be a T for GMC), C for 4x2 conventional cab, Z for 454 V8 with four barrel, 3 for 1 ton rated, 3 for cab and chassis only, 5 for 1975 model year, S for St. Louis, MO assembly and the rest is the production sequence. It appears to have aftermarket air conditioning added for the chassis since the lower control panel doesn't have an AC setting.

    Gee, 247,000 miles on the clock. This old girl has been around the block and then some I’d say. But if the provenance is proved and solid, this is a find alright. When this truck is properly cleaned, have the trucks emergency lights replaced and working. Also, the original siren too. Find an exact replica gurney to put in it. Have the trucks headlights working too, but THATS IT! Nothing else! The engine does not need to run. This piece is a time capsule. Treat it as such. Whatever you folks do, DO NOT include an Elvis maniquin! Keep it very respectful. Good Luck.👍😁🇦🇺

    Personally I don’t agree with these videos on the ambulance. Why would we want to see the ambulance that carried Elvis to hospital. Bad taste in my opinion and grim to say the least

      Some parts of history are grim. But we can learn even from those parts.

    My lord,At least paint the damn thing. That’s about on the level of the car Bonney and Clyde were killed in.Elvis deserves better.If you had Elvis Stutz would you show it all rusted out,broken windows,4 different tires??He place of death should be held in high regard.Not a schrine. But not a ghoulish place just to see where he died. It would be like Baptist hospital closing the treatment room right after he died now open it up and everyone can see we’re died. Hey it’s all yours whatever twirls your Beany.

      It is a higher level than Bonnie and Clyde. The Ambulance is cleaned up, but at this point the museum directors want it to remain in aged condition to show the history. And the owner explained the thought process in the first episode.

      @@GoodStuffVideos I can understand that 100%. Just seems like it should be held in high regard like a hearse. You can get it wrapped in vinyl with all the same markings. Don’t need to do any body work. They can do it in 2-3 days. Down the road it can all come off. I know Spaguy said some day he’d like to drive it. Wasn’t meant to be disrespectful sorry. I appreciate your reply. and speaking civilized . Have a good summer.

    This ambalance holds no value, he was dead when he was hauled a short distance in this shagg wagon ,nothing special about it at all , when you loose touch with reality over something like this you are insane

    • @GoodStuffVideos
      @GoodStuffVideos  3 года назад +4

      I would respectfully disagree with your suggestion that value is only attached to the living. Elvis has generated more value since he passed than he ever did while alive. Also, history has an incredible amount of value. But I appreciate you taking the time to engage.
