My mum was so lucky she was front row at Elvis last concert at Market Square Arena, she was given a towel that was wrapped around Elvis neck. She passed away in 2009 and the towel went with her when she was cremated, it was a nice way for Mum to go knowing that a bit of her hero was with her. Great video thank you.

Thank you for bringing us Sams words. As I have told you before, I saw Elvis in concert in Atlanta in 1977. People were angry for the bad performance, but I was sad. I could see a man on stage who was very sick. Of course most of us had never heard of the drug addiction, so I saw sickness. Here was a man trying to perform, who should have been in a hospital. Sam makes it even more clear. Maybe in that hour, I knew Elvis as the man, and not the singer. Thank you again Billy. You once again brought us a piece of the man.

That was AMAZING! That man loved Elvis!! Not the entertainer but the man!!! That was so wonderful that he brought that out!! I know as a fan I forget that Elvis was a MAN. He had feelings, he had a heart and he wasn’t untouchable. I am so guilty of thinking that man he had everything and was everything and man he was perfect. But he wasn’t, and I have to be so careful and not put him up on a pedestal that I can’t take him down from. He was a great entertainer, but he was still just a man. You show the positive side of him, which is so much greater than the negative that I’ve seen recently. My parents were able to see him in concert in Fort Worth , Texas in 1976. I was 6 yrs old. I totally agree.. Many of us Southerners were raised the same way. I am greatful to be Southern, a Christian, an Elvis fan, and worked in Law Enforcement for years so I do understand the 40 second rule, and more. Also David Foster is another music genius! I loved this story. I just enjoy hearing people who took the time to get so close to Elvis. Spa guy I think I love Elvis so much because he remind’s me of a simpler time in our country where family & friendship was so special. I totally love watching all your videos, thank you.🌻

I am greatful to be Southern, a Christian, an Elvis fan, and worked in Law Enforcement for years so I do understand the 40 second rule, and more.

It’s amazing how Elvis’s life and music brings all of us together as one Big Elvis Family.. I’ve meet some many people I call friends now because of Elvis.. He’s still TCB after all these years...
