Buying a person a car is Incredible!!! Buying a person a House is Love !!! It gives stability, to that person as far as Financial Mental, Sense of Wellbeing, etc. Elvis Presley was Super Human !!!
Houses, cars, motorcycle’s, paying medical bills, charities, money, jewellery and so on - it’s no surprise that Elvis didn’t have much money in the pot when he passed. He gave it all away and not squandered on himself and he worked hard for it! That’s one of the many reasons we love him - a Great Humanitarian & philanthropist! Thanks Sir Billy 😇 & Sam! Great stories and insight.
Seems Elvis made sure everyone around him was taken care of. What a human being
Very interesting to hear Sam tell how much Elvis' glaucoma affected him on stage. People talk about his other ailments but don't mention the glaucoma often.
That story about him buying Mr. Thompson made me cry. Then laugh. "Honey, I'm rich I can do whatever I want to." What a man.
There will be no one like Elvis on this Earth again so giving and humble🌹❤🎶🎤
You are so right!
No one ever 🙌🏼
Amen to that! The day Elvis left us a great light went out all over the World never to return.!!!!
Instablaster...
Wow somebody to gift a house and a motorcycle! And Caddy! I mean just takes my breath away! ❤️
Thanks to Sam for memories he could share. Elvis will never die in our hearts.
What a wonderful person Elvis was! So kind and giving. ☺️💜
Elvis Presley was One Class ACT !!! What a gentlemen. He was so good to everyone. You could look the World over and Never find anyone Like Elvis.. Thank you Spy Guy another One of Elvis's Great Stories..The KING!! I Love You Elvis Forever..
Another great interview! What a genuine nice guy..so down to earth... Can’t help but wonder if Linda and Elvis married if he’d still be here today... She was so good for him...She loved Elvis the man not the Image...!
yes linda was traded in for ging 8 years her junior
Yes I wish they would have married, but she I read where she left, because he almost shot her by accident so she left!!! She was with him both times he overdosed and held his hand when he had to be put into a medical coma to save him. If he had been able to kick the drugs that the war got him hooked on things would have turned out differently. You could tell how much she really loved him, but his one true love I believe was Ann and it haunted him after he lost her. So sad!!!!
@@mosoofi9903 just like everything else ! It was time for a newer model lol
@@wondon2992 she left. Did you miss it?
Elvis was so generous in life. Wish alot more people was like it. Glad you got to meet him Spa Guy 👍
What a down to earth fellow Sam Thompson is, great stories with no bragging on himself or exaggeration, just honest recounting of his experiences.👍🏻
Elvis's generosity knows no bounds. What a privilege for those people to have known Elvis. Elvis brightened everybody's life who he came in contact with. Not only that, he brightens my day today and every day because I have lots of pictures of him on the walls of my house.
Hi dear,i hope your doing good?
Sam is one of my favorite "Elvis people." Sam is a great story teller and speaker. Great interview, Billy.
Sam Rock's and is very well spoken..
I can relate to Elvis giving. I came up very poor in Mississippi myself. I’m a giver. No where near the giver Elvis was. But I’ve bought several cars for others, iPods for my friends, a battery or whatever for a stranger, things like that. Receiving for me is 100% about the thought. Giving brings me far more pleasure. What can be more pleasurable than sharing with someone you want to share with?
I’ve always thought the biggest MISS with Elvis legacy is his generosity, I understand Elvis is still donating to charities and that is a wonderful and right thing to do. But they should give a car away here and there, even a house. I think he would have felt this to be the greatest honor, probably second to impersonators.
Thanks Mr Thompson for having great conversation with Billy. Best wishes to you and yours.
I totally agree with you.
Me too. I think the biggest givers in life are people that have gonr without. It hurts to think of someone going through the same thing.. God Bless you
Is there any way you could help me? I just need a little help to feed my family
Sam Thompson is one of the nicest men around Elvis I think. I love his sincerity.
@@gracieg7601 yep he needed more people like sam
“I just felt a presence” has been said sooooo many times 🥰🥰🥰
Wow image being on the back of a motorcycle with Elvis... now that's a memory. What a generous humble man Elvis was... He was a true LEGEND! Another great video Spa Man.
I could listen to Sam tell Elvis stories all day. Great job Billy.
Elvis had a heart of pure gold
Good to see Sam again. Love his stories! Sam hasn't aged at all from the last time I saw him. Thanks Billy!
What exceptional people! Spa Guy you have outdone yourself again. Keep um coming y'all. Gold 🌟 🌟 🌟
Just when I thought I'd heard ALL of the stories about what a generous, kind hearted person Elvis was. I bet there's thousands more and many of the people who could have told you much more...have already passed away. Linda's brother is such a nice guy. I'm so glad you did this interview with him. Thanks, for all you do, Spa Guy! God bless you 💙
Elvis was do generouses.Who have this heart today? Nobody is the answer. Greatest Artist Greatest person wonderful man.
I know quite a few very generous people. It's comes out in different ways.
so generous he left himself not much left
Wow Elvis was truly something. What a legend! I could listen to these stories all day. Thank you soooo much for this! 40 sec rule. Wow how cool !! 🖤⚡
Good Lord, how many people who knew Elvis have I heard say, "we clicked immediately".
Love Sam and Linda. Sam’s always so sincere and factual in his reminiscing. Enjoy his interviews very much.
Yet another wonderful video,Billy!! Thank you Judge Thompson!!! Wonderful Elvis stories!!!
Decent man. Respectful interview. A living archive.
Ive watched and read ALOT about Sam and Linda. They are wonderful people and are very down to earth. They seemed to me like they genuinely loved Elvis, just like Billy and Jo smith. That speaks novels to me. God bless Sam for doing this and God bless you Spa Guy for bringing it to us. Cant wait for part two! Thanks brother!
Another great detailed interview SG, & Thanks to Mr Sam for taking the time to tell these stories. Wow,,this really puts into perspective how generous Elvis was. As many have said in past videos of yours,,Elvis REALLY did think of others before he thought of himself. Very few human being on Earth like this,,especially in these modern times. Keep these great Elvis pieces of the puzzle rollin SG.
Wow! Best video yet! I got teary-eyed when Elvis gave homes to people. Chills, too. Thank you for this. I was only 9yo when Elvis passed but my parents made me a fan of his.
Elvis what a man!!!! The only real star with a real heart!! ❤️ you won’t hear of any of these new musicians doing anything with heart like the KING OF ROCK N ROLL..
Now that's what I call a fantastic interview. What a great guy and so talkative . The storys he had well what can you say. So different to the David Briggs interview. Really enjoyed that one. Brilliant
I get the feeling Elvis made David Briggs' life very uncomfortable , upon discovering that a member of his band was involved in a dalliance with his girl. Either David is a super private person or he was shaken to core by Elvis or the MM.
Sam you were so good to look after Elvis thanks spa guy
Hello dear, hope your good over there?
🕺 Elvis sure was one special man thanks again for another awesome video enjoy your travels my friend thanks Mr Thompson for sharing the wonderful story 🕺
Hello dear, hope your good over there?
AWSOME I love Sam Thompson ,and Miss Linda shes a sweet Lady was definitely in my OPINION the Best for Elvis
Great stories from Sam very genuine man,
To hear and realize that is what the movements Going on between Elvis and the guys on stage meant and seeing Elvis end the concerts in just that way Sam described great inside knowledge,
Thank you Billy great interview as always the best😃👍❤
Salve , credo che l'America e solo un film senza limiti il nostro eroe del rock adesso

Nice story and what a wonderful guy Elvis was.
Thanks for sharing
Hello dear, hope your good over there?
Elvis handed her the key,and said this is your new house.Another awesome interview Spa Guy.
I love listening to these stories about Elvis Presley. All these people have their own personal experience and willing to share with us. Thanks so much.
Such a deep down good person Elvis was!
I absolutely love all these different people sharing their story about Elvis. Things we wouldn't know about otherwise. Thank you SpaMan for your dedication of gathering these nuggets
Hello dear, hope your good over there?
Once again another fantastic interview, Spa guy you are awesome, if not for all the effort you and those who assist you do, we would never hear these authentic and varied stories, so very refreshing from the constant recycled Elvis trivia. Love it.
thank you spa guy ....your a star !!!!! ...long live elvis , long live spa guy ...much respect
I wish I was born when he was singing so I could see his shows! What a down to earth man, so compassionate and helped everyone ! Not many rich people do this anymore that I’ve heard of! God has a special place for Elvis! Btw I just subscribed to your channel such a good job! Thank you for doing this !
I wouldn’t care about the gifts I just would have loved to know him. This was a great video SpaGuy
Amen to that!!
This story and many others about Elvis, just shows how wonderful and caring person Elvis was to all he knew. It would be so awesome just to be able to be in a room that Elvis stood in and just stand in that same spot. If I could have actually been to one of his concerts; what a feeling that would have been. Great work, and bless you and Lorie. Sorry if I spelled her name wrong.☺😯
Had the pleasure of meeting and talking to Sam on a couple of occasions when playing at an Elvis event in Blackpool, UK. A genuine, nice guy. Comes across well here.
Elvis had to have a good sense about people. Most of the people he was around are still good people today. Like Sam Thompson, Linda Thompson, Ann Margrett & so many more. Spa Guy really enjoyed this interview a lot. Keep them coming.
What a great interview. His affection for elvis is sweet. Can't wait for part 2.
Always wondered about the fingers/hand movements pointing to the side. Then he went that direction. Nice to know what it was all about.
I knew they had a time limit to get him out fast. That he had glycoma & blinded by the stage lights & flash bulbs. So he needed light & Joe to see to get down steps. Yet those hand movements & moving off stage sideways always had me wondering. Amazing to know now!
This man has had an amazing life! Cop, Lawyer, Judge, buddy of Elvis....and I’m sure many other cool things
Another great video Spa Guy, thank you 👏 I could listen to Sam talk all night, he's got some precious memories.
Those are such wonderful stories !! Can't wait to hear the rest of them . Thank you Mr. Thompson and Spa Guy for sharing this great video !! Love it !!
What a great story teller, I never tire of these stories. TY Billy and Sam!
While watching this video my phone is in another room, and I keep thinking it's mine that's ringing and ringing. LOLOLOL
Billy tightened up and made another fantastic video for us all.Thank you Spa Guy.
The cigar story on the the motorcycle so funny thankyou. I'd like to know what birthday present sam bought elvis presley. Thanks spa guy another awesome video
Sam Thompson is the greatest!! Wonderful kind down to earth human being...so glad Elvis had Sam and Linda Thompson in his life...thank you so much Spa Guy for wonderful interview 👏👏
Fantastic..... the state should give you an office on the grounds
Remarkable talk video! 👌 Nice!
Sam .T. doesn,t sugar-coat his stories, theyr said/explained like it was. Almost feeling like you were there. Enjoyable to listen in, thanks so much for sharing your time & efforts. Yes, to bad Linda & Elvis didn,t make it... Thumbs 👍up, SpaGuy! ~ 🎧🎶
Billy, this is flat out amazing!! Sam has some great stories, and you are a wonderful interviewer!!! I ❤ it.
Awesome SG, Elvis was really something else, wish he was still around, sam very nice guy, old Memphis, they don't make them like that anymore sG, awesome work 🙏
great one Billy!...gotta love Sam
GOOD MORNING SPA GUY, ANOTHER GREAT STORY, SAM IS A REALLY GREAT GUY. WISH THINGS HAD WORKED OUT FOR E AND LINDA.I THINK SHE TOOK REALLY GOOD CARE OF HIM .... OH WELL IT DIDNT HAPPEN.
Wow!!! He was funny and sweet and just a genuine nice guy. I enjoyed it very much and A Great Video to watch. Thank you Sam and of course Bob too. I can't wait to see part 2.
That’s one of the best interviews, and some of the most detailed information I’ve heard. Thank you Billy!
Amazing interview. Thanks for sharing your memories Mr Thompson. Great video Spa Guy!
Great interview.
Good that Elvis had quality friends like Sam.
Sam treated Elvis good & Elvis treated Sam good too.
Being on the back of a bike with Elvis driving...100 mph .
That would freak me out no matter whose driving.
Your right Sam motor bikes are dangerous ..you investigated accidents & you saw the injuries/deaths I assume.
Great that you talk about singing gospel late with Elvis.
To your family & Linda all the best & keep the faith. Lord is coming back sooner than later by the signs of the times.
Heard that home recording on the internet radio just a week ago.
Elvis starts off saying he wrote this poem.
Ha !
Loved this! Thanks
Fantastic vid …it’s unreal that the biggest STAR the world has ever seen was so down to earth n normal …G.O.A.T that’s Elvis
This is really great material, so informative. You've really cast a net over so many key players in the King's life. With a screen play and a good editor you could put together a movie for Main stream media. A grass roots narrative that lets his fans get up close & personal. Has there ever been a more generous man than Elvis Presley ? Crowd Fund the production costs. The impact of Elvis is such that he has fans not yet even born.
What great life experiences! Elvis personally touched thousands of people's lives.
Billy, you've done it again!!! Man, how do you get these folks to interview them :) LOVE IT!!!!
I have the FOG on me.. The Favor of God..
@@SpaGuy Nice way to put it.....
@@lucyluluforever2570 I haven’t heard that before Billy FOG! I love that. I do believe you do. That’s beautiful.
Incredible interview. Sam is such a down to earth and very nice man. What a life he has to speak about. I couldn’t even imagine Elvis as my wonderful true friend in life. One of your best interviews I have seen. Story’s are so fun to hear. Thank you for this :)
Billy I understand what you mean by being a purest now... Watching these interviews you really truly are letting people know Elvis the man. Elvis would be thankful to you.
Wow!!! What is so great Billy is it is just like we are sitting there talking to a man we would all love to visit with!
Just like we are there! Thank you so much!
Elvis was truly a good and humble man, they say we are a reflection of our parents and I believe this to be true, our thanks and condolences to Gladis and Vernon Presley, God bless.
I love hearing these great stories, too. Spa guy and Sam are awesome!
Thank you Billy and Sam for this very intersting interview ; I do really like Sam and his sister Linda as well cause they are very good person and they never said negative thing about Elvis and his stories are so delightful to hear like this one about the home recording at Sam's home that Elvis did .
Awesome Awesome Awesome stories !! I've watched this 3 time already. Thank you so much, Billy and a special thanks to Sam as well. I can't get enough of these !!
Amazing story
What an awesome story. Elvis had such a kind and generous soul. Thank you so much Spa Guy. Your the best on finding these wonderful people who were actually close to Elvis and share all of these great things about Elvis, so thank you Sam for sharing your personal stories with us who still love Elvis and love knowing things about him and his life. Billy, I love what you said "Elvis was really something". God Bless.
Hello dear, hope your good over there?
Great interview, and thanks Sam Thompson for agreeing to the interview. Here's the poem as I found it (or a couple of versions of it, lol).
I don't know which version Elvis might have told Mr. Thompson, but here's what I found, take care brother and YHVH bless.
'so, more than 10 years later.... I have tracked down the original version of this poem....
'
"The Robin"
Older than dirt poem, but my #2 favorite of all time.
"The Robin"
I woke early one morning,
the earth lay cool and still
when suddenly a tiny bird
perched on my window sill.
He sang a song so lovely
so carefree and so gay,
that slowly all my troubles
began to slip away.
He sang of far off places
of laughter and of fun,
It seemed his very trilling,
brought up the morning sun.
I stirred beneath the covers
crept slowly out of bed,
and swiftly shut the window
and crushed his f***ing head.
And number two....
DESTINY OF A BLACKBIRD
It was a beautiful day
The sun had shone
Not a dark cloud in the sky
I awakened with a smile
I felt like I was high
I rose from my bed
And glanced around
It was the start of a fantastic day
The feeling went through me like a lightning bolt
How I love the month of May
I put on my socks
Slipped on my robe
Then glanced to my right
Where I noticed a beautiful blackbird
With wings as dark as the night
He was sitting on my windowsill
Curiously looking in
So I calmly motioned back to him
With wide eyes and a grin.
I slowly pet the little fellow
Then got up off my bed.
And quickly pulled the window down
And smashed his f***ing head.
This one is a keeper! I can see why Elvis enjoyed Sam's company, two southern gents great at tellin stories and stretchers :-)
He said Market Square Arena Cincinnati, it's in Indianapolis Indiana 1977...
Yes it was Indianapolis, Indiana. I was at that concert June 26th 1977, last concert he performed!
wow - great insights, especially about the signals at the end of a show
Looks like a pretty decent house and car there. Elvis was generous to a fault. Buying a house and a top car are two of life's most expensive outlays and he bought them for numerous people including as Sam tells it for himself, Linda, their parents. Jerry, Alan,Lamar, Joe E, Red and Sonny West, the cooks, Gary Pepper etc. to name a few.
Elvis was the only Elvis they throw away the key that made him. he was the Best everything he did And touched the Love he had for Everyone He showed how he felt from his Heart inside and out we all loveHim And Miss Elvis so much thank you SPAguy God Bless
HI Spa Guy another great interview
Elvis would Signal his bodyguards
The 40 second rule. Something I never knew Wow good stuff. Elvis has left
The building Wow good stuff can’t for wait for part 2 thanks again Joseph from NJ....
Can't wait for part 2 of this one. He's a good story teller
Great interview and Sam seems like a great guy. Looking forward to part 2. Great job Billy!!!
Great guy, Sam Thompson.Wonderful stories.
Love the Elvis stories, thanks for sharing Spaguy. ❤
Hello dear, hope your good over there?
Wow! Very interesting. Great job Spy Guy.
Love the honest truth about Elvis really great interview
Another great interview Spa Guy.. Nice to see that Elvis was taken well care of by Sam.. It's sad that Elvis could not really go out as a normal person.. It is unfortunate that society puts pressure on celebrities to be something they are not... almost like gods when they are just really human beings, some with a great talent and good heart and very giving like in Elvis Presley's case. Elvis was one of a kind and loved by so many, no doubt about that...
Great video, wondering if anyone still ownes any of the homes Elvis bought for them
The only one I know of that still owns and lives in the house is Jerry Shilling. His housekeeper lived in her home until she passed away. I imagine most sold them as they moved out of state and on with their life.
This is great! I'm glad you put the picture of the house in.
Hello dear, hope your good over there?
Amazing interview. I have heard the guitar story before. Elvis gave him his Martin guitar that he used the last year he lived, and Sam sold it to fund law school.
Okay so that is how Elvis paid for Sam's law degree. I missed that part of the interview. Thanks for posting this info.
@@lucyluluforever2570 No problem. I think he sold the guitar for $5000. It`s a very special guitar since it was the last guitar Elvis used on stage.
@@yellyman5483 On part 2 w/ Sam, he tells he sold it for $8,000. to the National Inquirer, I think that was the paper; they had a contest to win the guitar and would put your name in if you bought a years subscription of their paper. This lady then sold it to a man in Cincinnati, OH for BIG bucks. Sam's interview was very interesting and heart felt, especially the 2nd part. He is well spoken, just like his sister, Linda. She took good care of Elvis, but I guess tired of his self destruction. I bet it was sad to see his decline in health from the when he was on the top of the world.
@@lucyluluforever2570 Ok, so he sold it for $8000? Well, i got that one wrong. It`s worth a hell of a lot more now. I think it`s one of the most expensive guitars in the world. I agree with you on Sam and Lind.. Very nice people, and Elvis were lucky to have them in their lives. As for Elvis`s decline, i blame the manager. He worked Elvis to death in Vegas. To shows a night, 7 days a week for a month is insane. I think it destroyed him in the end...
Yellyman That $8,000 in 1980 is the same as over $24,000 today.
amazing interview Billy!
So Sweet
Amo Elvis Presley.
Obrigada Billy.
