2021 and I'm watching this on my Xperia Z tablet in anticipation of changing the battery soon. 8 years and 1000's of hours of use and it is still mint but, battery life is starting to lag. Not complaining as it will still last for about 4hrs of non-stop video. With custom firmware it has remained current and still has no app compatibility issues. Hoping to get a few more years out of it!
Could you please tell me which custom firmware are you using and where can I get it from?

This tablet is a beauty. =)
Proprietary chargers are preferred because the USB standard is limited in the amount of amps. So you can get much faster charge times with the proprietary.

Does the back cover really support the components inside? even though its carbon fiber but its looks flexible cover it may damage the internal by handling or by small pressure i think and the adhesive may loose its grip also.
it has sound force technology from sony so it has simulated surround sound

My tablet just fell right now, and the screen crashed, goodness i thought of opening it but so many screws i'll definitely mess it up further i just hope the guys i took it to, will be able to fix it

Does anyone know if the digitizer is fully glued to the LCD or if it's just around the perimeter? My wife shattered the digitizer and I'm wondering if I should get the LCD/digitizer combo or if the digitizer by itself will suffice. Thanks.

well, about to remove the back cover of my xperia tablet z, to fix my camera, Apparently the cord has fell out of place, and hoping this will help me, just wondering, how would i be able to restore the waterproofness of the tablet?, do i apply waterproof glue or something ?
