Thank you my tablet was broken for years it was no longer loaded was in a shop he wanted 100 euros for the repair then I saw your video all in all it now cost me 15 euros thanks again it goes again

Great video, took me 5 mins to replace with part i bought from ebay for £4. Don't worry about adhesive I just use a bit of a superglue. Thanks.

Thank you for this very helpful video. I ordered a replacement USB port but when I fitted it the charge light came on intermittently but would not stay on. I was very lucky that the company I purchased from was happy to send me another USB port to try. Due to your video showing the very important step of pressing the tape on the usb port so that the gate on the back clicks into place my USB charge port is working and the tablet is charging. ( I checked this step with the first replacement and the gate on it will not click into place) - once again thank you

I paid €100.00 for a professional to do this. It took him two weeks to complete because he claimed he had to wait for the component. The repair lasted just two weeks before it failed again. The other problem is, my sound does not work by the toggle switch (no idea what the guy did) so I have to go into apps/sound and notifications to alter it. The repair shop is no longer there and outlets selling tablets etc won't repair it because they claim it's not worth their while. Meanwhile (believe it or not) I've managed to stabilise the charge port and plug with the aid of a small spring clamp and two rubber bands. The improvisation has been working just fine for a couple of years now but has started to be unreliable of late so I must order the part for myself now I've seen how easy it is to replace. :)

Hello. I change the micro USB port like you but my tablet Sony Xperia Z sgp321 don't charge the battery. The red light is always turn-off and if you press button on/off the red light flash for 3 times. Can you help me? Thanks Andrea

i have the same problem with my sony. i had the connector replaced by repairing shops and still my tablet dead and can't charge. They say Sony made the battery to block charging if there's a bad power coming in. Is that true?
Also after opening the back cover the tablet will no longer be waterproofed. Is that true?
But can I use docking station to still charge it?

Hello. Check the battery voltage,minimum 3.6v.

I believe that was the problem. I couldn't find any obvious damage to the part I replaced.

Hola. Esta cinta doble cara si aguanta mucho(hay que buscar la buena). Llevamos tres años poniendo esta cinta y sin problema alguna. Incluso es un poco mejor que la 3M. Gracias por comentar.
