The bigger the truck the bigger the stuck! 😳

- This truck driver had a delivery to a remote off grid property in the Oregon Desert and on the way out, had his drive tire fall into a hole in the road that was hidden by a mud puddle and became stuck. Some of the local ranchers brought out some heavy equipment to try and pull it out, but after breaking a couple straps and chains they decided to just wait for me to bring the @zackliftinternational4841 Genesis down and do the recovery.
After getting it broke free from the mud hole hole with the winch, I used the 1.5" @YankumRopes to drag it the rest of the way out and to the top of the hill where we were sure it be able to continue on it's own.
After that we headed back to town to get some chocolate milk and cheeseburgers while the locals confirmed our fears of alien conspiracies

Yes he made the delivery. And I feel really bad that he got stuck. It was cool to meet Casey and Ethan. That truck was a little more then my Jeep could handle, but Dirty Gerdie did her best. Casey's truck sure is an awesome piece of equipment!
It was good to meet you too, and thanks for helping out!
Thanks David, for showing Casey the way.
@@CaseyLaDelle Well someone had to stand around and look awesome! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@Marty54GMC no problem. It was the least I could do being that I was the customer and he wouldn't have gotten stuck do to my delivery needs.
@@CaseyLaDelle did you remember to take your magnet light off boom and put it away before you left?🙂
Betting the new seats are paying for themselves today Casey!👽
I was a Diesel Mechanic for 45 years and have never heard anything bad about that company.
I’ve done a few jobs for them and they’ve always been great to work with
My son in law drives for them,he was telling me that he will make about 90 grand this year.
Old Dog is a fantastic company. Common name for that company by other truckers.
When I worked shipping/receiving my favorite driver was from ODFL. Forgot his name but always think of him when I see that green
They seem to have real quality drivers
My poor road. We don't even use that one in the winter. Unfortunately we're missing our normal frozen solid road this year.😢 I'm so sorry the guy got stuck. We tried to help...
Can only do what you can do ..
So we have our Casey !!!
middle of nowhere Oregon is lucky to have you. competent, decent, good sense of humor and thinks of others. this would be an awesome world if everyone had those qualities. Thanks Casey..
Sad part is, there are few Casey's and a hell of a lot more of the other kind ...
If only he was good at this.
Truth
Looks like a classic "We have trucks here all the time" type of delivery.
You don’t know how many times I’ve heard that in my 29 years driving for FedEx. Retired in 2020 👍
@tonyjessen8204 I used to do LTL work and now do heavy haul work. It's amazing how customers think that a pickup with a gooseneck equals a semi truck.
shortly followed by. that big truck just for this?@@tonyjessen8204
I hear that all the time delivering cars/trucks didn't take long for me to stop listening to that and requesting a alt delivery point nearby
I met him on a gravel road with my Jeep and trailer to get my delivery. He took a wrong turn to get out. This time of year I always drive out to meet UPS FEDEX or in this case the semi. He didn't get stuck on my road, he was never on my road.. Good thing because Casey's truck couldn't get down my road to recover him. It would have stayed til the road dried out in a couple months. It was a good adventure, even the driver stayed in a good mood, something to tell his grand kids some day!
Country boy with his side arm I love it.
He wasn’t the only one
HOW did you survive this "'ARMED ENCOUNTER"?????!!!!!!!
I remember rescuing a family at the top of HWY 20 pass, in your neck of the woods, seeing them on the side of the road.
The Grandfather insisted on staying with his broken truck.
I asked him if he needed to borrow a gun? That was LEGAL in ORYGUN back then. He said, "no thanks, I already have a couple." I replied, according to the media we should have just shot each other instead of helping strangers, the REALITY."......we had a good laugh.
Later I saw his daughter at an Independence Day party in Bend. I didn't recognize her but she yelled across the yard, "HEY IT'S OUR HERO!" I looked around and saw her pointing at me. In truth, I was the passenger in the "hero" vehicle but EVERYONE in that vehicle was armed and not ONE of us hesitated to help.
That's the way we do it here in the middle of nowhere!
Always good in case first contact goes wrong!
@alexkruyer Some of us don't have people issues, we have animal issues where we live.
I’m also a fellow ostomy person for 32 years. I’m glad you put that out there.
The bag can't ever get fixed?
A girl I knew as a late teen had one as I understood for ever but then didn't a few years later
She was 20 maybe but ppl called her s&-+ bag Amy that was probably hard for her as it must be for him rolling around on ground all Day
I had an ostomy operation on July2. I was fortunate enough that I was able to have it reversed on Feb 2. Just had the staples removed today. It's not the end of the world having an ostomy. In fact, there some advantages. The bad news is that if I'm abducted by aliens, I can now be probed...
He's been open about it in the past.. I can't remember his explanation but I know he's talked about it.
@@nextbizzy , I believe he said he has Crohn’s disease.
@@nextbizzy He pulled to hard on a lug nut on a U-Haul that had to be heated with a smoke wrench. He has a video when it happened.
Ok, I have given up on most of RUclips at this point. Everything seems scripted and people seem hell bent on hiding their own personality for fear of angry comments. Then I come to this channel and I get real, interesting, engaging content. On top of that, You have found a perfect maniac accomplice. Ethan is a gem, and the synergy between you two is perfect. Of all of the subscribed channels I have, yours invariably ends up being the start of my night. If Casey has posted a video it's where I click first. It's been almost 2 years since I came across your channel... yanking people out of shitty situations was always just something ya did for a neighbor. I never gave it more thought then that, and here I am years later 100% enthralled by a dude on RUclips doing the same with a heavy wrecker, a truck, a tracked "jeep". Y'all could take on knitting and I'd watch happily. You have an amazing brand, and the best part is.. it isn't curated, it's just you.
9:15 - Blue rope smack on the head for Ethan's comment about "supposed to wear the hardhat". Maybe Ethan needs to wear a hardhat. LOL
You may be the only heavy wrecker available for miles but you just happen to be one of the best.
Amen to that.
Professional and Entertaining. Gets the job done every time..
There may be others but for some reason ...
I would call Casey as he tries his hardest to do the near impossible and gets it done.
Look at his equipment ... all that grime says it works like a ....which implies 'So does Casey'
Locals ALWAYS know! Those lights were ALIENS!!!!1!!!
Apart from that, Casey, nice tow.
Flares from Military aircraft.
You mean China's Military?@@Danstaafl
The lights may have been Oregon ANG F-15C aircraft maneuvering in the Juniper A, B or Low MOA on a night training mission.
Aliens don’t exist, demons do
I am 23 miles from the Old Dominion home terminal in Thomasville North Carolina at 500 Old Dominion Way. I have done lots of wrecks for them through the years. always easy to get along with and easy to get paid. You did a great job again my wife got the biggest kick when you said Ethan was in the gas station making room for his cheeseburger,
That was a good one, Casey!😂😂😂
Yep, great company to work with
A pair of insulated rubber boots should be in the truck just in case. When I'm out, my Dunlop's are always brought along.
Muck Chore's in my truck at all times.
Sick of never having them when I need them.
And of course Casey would have to store them ... where on the ZackLift?
Another pair would be needed in his Tracked Truck!
I love the way Casey says I can't be probed, you know cuz his medical condition. But he sure did throw his buddy under the bus lol 🤣
That old man was cool as hell. Pistola on the hip and sick jeep
Casey in packing too Very obvious
@@Solocat1 Casey sucks
Casey, mate. Somehow I've always missed the fact you do what you do while living life with a bag? My already high level of respect for you you just quadrupled.
As a LTL P&D driver i feel his pain. Sometimes, we gotta go where no truck should go
I DROVE LTL for more years than I like to remember. Pulled P&G load from E. St. Louis to wherever, sometimes 12 stops . Hardware stores in small towns with allies that my grandfather who drove loads of tomatoes from Frankfort,IN to Chicago Campbell Soup Plant. He drove a IH tractor (1945 ?) and a 30’ trailer . That s the size of the ally I had to. Back into or out of w /a 42’
Come on Ethan...take one for the team...😂
For a man who constantly says “I don’t know what I’m doing!” You made that look real easy!!! Well done Casey!!! 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for the hot tip Yankum is working on heavy wrecker sized synthetic winch line.
They already have it. Just call up and place your order
@Ddabig40mac We have used rope in the mines for years to get dozers and haul trucks back on solid ground.
Ship line, it's not just for water use and it holds hundreds of tons of pull.
That Truck sounds SOO GOOD.
@rickeycompton5518 Detroit in my opinion have that hidden CAT sound in them, with less issues.
Casey gets some really interesting tow/winch jobs, and he's always glad to be able to help out. Nice job.
You are fortunate to have daily content vs. so many that struggle to do reviews of things they really don't own. Great work
]
You “rock” the UFO scene and bumpy road trip. Your new seats are handling the rough road nicely! You two are unique troopers for sure!
ODFL being a common carrier needs to go wherever the freight has to go and he did. Amazing he was out in the middle of nowhere, but thanks to Casey, he got out and off everyone goes.
I noticed the Jeep driver was embracing the Second Amendment… Good for him 👍. Too bad there aren’t any Casey’s General Stores around there they are a midwest chain that makes awesome Pizza.
That Chevron actually has amazing pizza out here in the big middle of nowhere!😊
Ohhh Casey that’s a Brand New Clean Yankum Rope 😳😱😜😂😂
Haven't even started watching yet and I'm already cracking up over the title
Matt's Off Road Recovery is going to be sooooo jealous, the Western Star with the new brush bar and the Zacklift are now the worlds largest off road wrecker CHAMPS! Excellent job as always for a guy who never said he was good at this.
@11:00 you're teaching science! People often forget how often some of these basic principles come into play daily for simple (or not so simple) tasks no matter how big or small.
That truck of yours is a WAR RIG!! Hell of a rig Casey
The aliens dug that hole to probe Ethan but the dog scared them off 😎
That was my little dog, my Newfoundland was hiding in the back of my Jeep. He was praying it was Ethan that got probed and not him!
25:33 someone gotta send Casey a disco ball and some LSD lights fer the Zacklift😅
Put lug-nut SPIKES on that disco ball!!!!
Lights, a disco ball and some LSD. Sounds like a good time to me
@@goride450 🤣
Obviously your new seat are proving their worth. Don't worry about "aliens", they would never take you two as specimens. Always appreciate your banter.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure you have to live in a trailer park in order for aliens to abduct your ass. At least based on the TV shows and movies.
is that something like "I watched 2 RUclips videos so I are an expert ".
Casey, your videos are Grrrrrrrrreat and always good for a laugh. 😂😂😂
Damn between aliens and tornados I'm screwed
They might if they're stuck in a hole like the trucker was😊
Awesome tip about rigging back to the outriggers. !
Afterburners from F 15x’s out of Klamath Falls that’s their training area and also they’ll come over from Mountain View to train with the guys out to Klamath
Mr Casey Glad you are staying busy with your heavy duty wrecker. Thanks for sharing and stay safe.
What a Fantastic video Casey and Ethan 👍🏆❤
Big shout out to the helper and his lovely dog🥰 Safe journey to the delivery 🚚

He made a comment: @davidruppel1216
The helpful guy with the jeep absolutely ROCKS. The OD Truck driver and Casey were both lucky to have someone care enough to help guide Casey in to the truck. Awesome! Great video too. Very cool to see one of the bigger Yankum ropes in action
Take me to your leader 😂
Great job to Casey & Ethan a little bit of humor it's not life or death always!
That was some size of a hole...lucky no damage when he landed in the hole....great job Casey ...stay safe and see you on the next one
Many of those OD drivers are good guys! Glad it worked out.
Casey, your rigging plan for this recovery was ingenious and very successful!
Awesome recovery!👍😎 You explaining why and how you do everything really makes your videos so interesting to watch! That ZackLift is a BEAST!!! Keep up the great videos and stay safe out there!❤️🙏
Love that front bumper. Looks really good.
"Aliens", that cracked me up.
Great Recovery! Lots of laughs 😂 Please be safe 🙏 😊
Thankfully you guys were not abducted! Your truck is amazing.
Casey. Stay Warm and Safe out there.
MWP Cosby Tn.
I love these nighttime recoveries. Thanks for taking us along.
When he said he was following a Jeep I half expected it to be a Blazer or a 4 Runner.
More than likely the lights were from fighter jets out of mountain home air base. They do simulation dog fights over SW Idaho and SE Oregon. They drop those flairs and if you are closer you can see chaff too.
I've been watching Casey for quite some time now
Absolutely 💯impressive
The way you setup the Western Star and Zacklift
And your Content is very impressive
With helping Truckers and Motorist without any doubt and never hear any complaints
Great Content 👍and Video 👍
Thanx for sharing your experience with your business 👍
Have a Great Day 👍
God Bless You and your Family 👍👪
Bouncy! Bouncy! Good thing you got the new air-ride seats installed for maximum comfort!😂 Mrs G
What a great rig you have! Thanks.
Hi Casey, pulling that truck out of that hole was amazing. I suppose being able to lift the boom
Up high made all the difference. Well done mate I liked that one. Jon 🇦🇺
Great recovery skills. Casey.
Good to see your wrecker truck going where one that size wouldn't normally be expected to go. Perfect mix of banter and serious too.
That recovery went surprisingly well. Much easier that I thought it was going to go. Glad it was easier than I thought it was going to be as well.
This job definitely puts the “Heavy” in Cascade Heavy Rescue!!! Nicely done, never would have happened without Ethan lol!
Love the Zacklift Great Choice Casey
That truck is a freakin beast!! No effort at all. Yankum for the win!!!!
Also warms my heart to see the locals open carry. No telling what you may run into out in the middle of nowhere.
Awesome biggest test so far!
Another great rescue. My nephew drives a truck, he's got some stories about places and cargo he's delivered. Super nice folks all around. Nothing to be upset about, crap, mud and holes happen. I was thinking of your new seats as you two bounced along, that will save 1 of you from hemorrhoids 😉. Even the 👽 👽 were happy to see Casey and Ethan. Stay safe and GOD bless
I enjoyed watching an it is even better when you explain why you do what you do. Especially when it is not the usual rigging. Looking for the next one
Middle of nowhere sounds like the place I've been hunting my whole life, best place to live
🤠
We love it, but the roads can be dicey, someone said. 🤪
It's a piece of cake when you have a Jeep. Yes I'm a Jeep freak. OK ok. 4 wheel drive light weigh vehicles with good mud tires. I've towed alot of different types of rigs out of the mud. Snow and sand out here.
I can start hunting right out my front door. Although with my Newfoundland, game animals don't walk through my property anymore. 😪
Hey ! young fella...love your prep thought and extra anchorage...Top Job ! 👍
Hey ya made it christmas valley
Christmas Valley !
Longest stretch of Utility Poles ! (I think I counted 1,200 or so of 'em.)
Been out to Christmas Valley to ride the dunes before... "middle of nowhere" doesn't begin to do it justice
Those lights are ship’s taking big foot out as they know this gem is FUBAR
Nice post thanks stay safe 👍🏽🤙🏽🖖🏽
Great job Casey. After the short, I was excited to see the rest.
Casey make a warming box on your truck to dry out wet stuff....EASY PEASY!
Fine work you guys. I was wondering when a Yankum rope was going to make an appearance dragging around a commercial truck !!! 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for making
Casey your attitude is Awesome and Very impressive
How you say this Recovery was easy, I think it's just that was easier
Have a Great Day 👍
God Bless You and your Family and Team
2 "thats what she said" lines in 1 video. Love it😂
Been waiting for the yankum truck pull recovery. Seems its time - will watch the rest and see how it looks :)
Day cab single drive axle. Sure Old Dominion appreciates the publicity.
And another master class by Casey❤️
iI have to say the new bumper / grill guard really make your truck look so much better!
Double lining back to the outriggers makes the big triangle. Triangle strong shape. 💪💪
Wow, awesome job. So impressed.
I see Ethan is watching his weight...fudge and Skittles...late night snack of champions! Not that a cheeseburger is all that much better, but at least it has vegetables...assuming pickles and ketchup. I guess you could put pickles and ketchup on fudge...eh, no. Another great video, thanks!
New camera man is doing an amazing job.
probably a old square concrete culvert that broke and was filled in , due to the water and silty soil the weight of the truck sunk in. My best guess
Nope there is nothing like that out here. I think the ground under the hard pan was saturated and the hard pan broke with the weight of the truck.
Great video!! Great entertainment. Ethan has his priorities straight! First, the junk food and then, if there is room, you can finish with something with actual nourishment in it. LOL!! Just think how silly our descendants will think we were to assume that there were no such thing as aliens! 😆
Best one in a while, thanks for filming and well done!
My dad did pipefitting for 30 years in pulp mills and refineries. I was talking to him about the proper way to use shackles the other day because of your videos and mentioned loosening them a bit. He was telling me of a job he was on, they were lifting a large section of pipe for one of the boilers, he figured it was around 20,000lbs, the rigging crew had an apprentice doing the rigging, he loosened a shackle after getting everything rigged up "because thats how he always did it". The shackel failed with this big piece of pipe from 20 feet in the air. The rigging company lost the contract and the site was shut down for a week. Luckily no one was hurt.
Great video!
Fantastic video Casey and Ethan. Am I right, did Casey almost walk on water??🤣🤣🤣
Nice to see Yankum is on all your rigs.
am a retired truck mechanic, the after treatment in your western star has 2 filters in it they need to be cleaned . the engine keeps track of the amount of soot. your tool may tell you ,also the serpentine belt is taking a rib off from the belt tensioner , changed alot of them ,kind of a pane
The more u see that enginered peice of equipment , its a complete package. ( well done)
that heavy wrecker build makes everything look like child's play to be recovered.
I don't know Casey i think the Zacklift was a waste of money and you would have faired better with your TJ . 😂😂. Seriously though that Zacklift is amazing. All of the possibilities and it's strength that rig came right out. One of these day's you'll find out you know what your doing. 👍👍✌️
3 1/2 hours SE.. You're in southwest Idaho. Odds are those lights are of military/commercial aircraft going into either Boise or Mt. Home AFB.
Not anywhere close to Idaho.....
Google Christmas Valley Oregon...
Probably starlink satellites
I think the goofy looking lights are in Nevada have seen lights like that before I could not tell the color of these lights but the ones that I see in Nevada are like a dark orange or maybe called burnt orange most of I have seen north central Nevada and once east of Goldfield Nevada maybe 40 miles
You're way underestimating the size of Oregon. This is Lake County, about halfway across the state.
That one was fun. Nice job.
Sounds like the Marfa lights in Texas. Thanks.
1:35 that's one odd looking aeroPlane😅
