I feel like the proprietary memory card is what ultimately killed the Vita. I remember the 64GB memory card being $99+. Way too expensive for something like that.
I had a Vita in 2019, I was 15 at that time. It was so awesome, I spend hours moving plenty of files from my PC to PS Vita, and I'm proud of that. I sold it a couple of months ago because I played every game on the Vita (even PSP games), and I love to see that nowdays is so easy to hack the Vita, it is never late to give Vita a second try! My favorite portable console so far.

It's important to note that if you have a PS Vita 1000, you won't have internal storage, so in this case you want to set your uma0 to memory card if available

uma0 folder doesn´t show on my ps vita, what do i do? nvm go to Settings > Devices > Storage Devices > uma0 > SD2Vita and reboot the system. Then go back toVitaShell and the uma0 folder must be there, then proceed with the tutorial as usual. I'm happy that this have solved some people's problem, for those who don't I'm sorry this is how I managed to solve it. Gracias gringos

It's pretty funny how things like the steamdeck keep coming out yet so many are going back to their hacked psvitas because they just ain't doing it like they used to. At the same time I'm not even in the market for this stuff anymore and it keeps popping up in my feeds.
It depends I have 4 kids and im single still own my 3 vita’s and a pstv and 2 switches yet the steam deck is my portable bae…but nothing beats gran turismo psp and peace walker….for those types of genres.
The steam deck is one of the best consoles I've ever owned, but nothing compares in terms of beauty to the vita. It just looks like the perfect handheld visually.
@@JeffSteele. out of the last truly handheld consoles it sure is fucking pretty…I prefer my white slim over my OLED…and not my deck or switch can get super something like any angle phone type shit..,
@@RamDeezyy so this is what I did ok ... After i installed PKG it showed the 999mb from the original GIG. So i went to storage settings and changed both the xo and the one below to SDVITA. Then reinstall the PKG from the packages and boom! 117gb! Let me know if it works for you
@@RamDeezyy oh yeah i remember i did that as well just reload the 365 file and then the pkg. If it doesn't work reload the txt file i also has that issue. Otherwise delete everything and start over again i did that as well. It took me a while and had those errors too, do it all over again and then after installing the pkg change the storage settings to both sd2vita

Was gonna buy a wii U to jail break, console is expensive. Remember vita and how simple it is, also better games and portable. (Selling my switch to buy a vita lol)

Yea fuck sony with handhelds so weird from a company that lets you change the hard drive so easily on their home consoles.
It's definitely a contributor. Another part was that they overloaded it with features, to the point where it made the console too expensive
It was definitely high on the list. The Vita was so good. Shame it had to be killed off quickly.

if you format the sd storage and reboot the ps vita you can see the uma0 folder
