  • Hey love! I was in the mood for a little something different and decided to blow out my hair on a whim earlier this week. But, I wanted a tool that would get it relatively straight/flat from it’s natural state without too much heat. After doing a little research, I came across the Dyson Airstrait and decided to purchase it for myself. It looks like a flat iron, but it only using air to bring your hair from curly to straight, I know, crazy! Here’s my in-depth first time impression using it. I hope you enjoy!

I know personally, I've had my Dyson Supersonic for over 4 years and it was the same amount. I use it practically every week to diffuse my hair. When a tool/product lasts *that* long and is still efficient, I'd say it's worth it. But that's my personal preference and I respect yours!

      I received an email with a 20% off owner's coupon from Dyson for this product. Since I had never heard of it, I came straight to RUclips. The first video I watched was someone with 4c hair, and I nearly fell to the floor. Her hair got so straight I think, with three passes as well or maybe two and a boost pass. I immediately purchased and using this weekend. I'm thinking I can do two passes with heat and one with the cool blast. Then do two french braids as my style for a couple days before taking out to wear braidout. Literally can't wait. I

    That thing is loud 🤣, But I like the high tech aspect of the Dyson. Did you flat iron on 285- two passes? I realize you don't want to cause heat damage to your curls again. A higher temp, would have allowed for 1 pass, and less puffiness. Your hair is beautiful and thick; and it looks so strong. UnfortunateIy, I have fine strands, that lack body when straightened. I attempted to flat iron today; but gave up to do an egg protein treatment, conditioner rinse, and then added oils, twisted it to dry, and called it a day 🙄. No more cutting it. It just grows back with the same needs 😂. Just gonna let it grow, and go from there. God bless us naturals 🙏🏽. Work, work, work 😂.

    Ugh idk when my 4c/4b hair was 16 inches , dense and thick like yours I could use the revair and get it done in 45 min without the extra passes and that was my first time using it . But it is heavy and now that I moved to LA space is prime … but it seems like the same result and the revair is cheaper, and I like that the highest setting is 220° and I get the same result . But the space saving and lightness of this is attractive 🤔
    I also like that I can use the revair on my twists ….

    Looks nice! I just bought the Supersonic during the Nordstrom sale then ordered the Airstrait and wonder if I need both? I like that the blow dryer has the diffuser mode and I wear wash n go’s a lot. But also my 11yr old daughter would love to wear her 3C/4A hair straight sometimes and I’m scared of heat damage with flat irons so this seems perfect. And this was definitely straighter than the dryer with comb and flyaway attachment? Part of me is like “return that blow dryer” because we have a regular old Remington one that works fine 😂…or do you feel like the Supersonic is a game changer?

    • @AishaBeau
      @AishaBeau  2 месяца назад +2

      So, I love them both and use them for different reasons. The supersonic I just use the diffuser attachment and for wash and goes. The Airstrait is specifically when I want blown out/stretched styles. Since they're both so pricey, I'd go with one at a time, whichever you feel you'd get more use out of first!
