I have 3b/3c hair and have the AirStrait. I love it for after gym touch ups and for when I’m refreshing my silk press. But unfortunately I can’t just use the AirStrait after washing my hair. I live in Florida and have to deal with high humidity, if I just use my AirStrait I end up with straight, shiny hair and curly/poofy roots, the AirStrait doesn’t get to the roots. I’m still searching for an alternative to using a flat iron.
@@tn2007 I do! It takes a little longer to dry my hair than my regular dryer but feels gentler on the hair. My hair doesn’t come out as smooth as hers but it’s stretched and soft. I use the smoothing brush when I want to dry my hair faster. The diffuser is really nice. I haven’t tried the comb attachment yet.
I have the AirStrait and I love it because it gets rid of my frizz and lasts for days. Also, I don't have to worry about humidity using the Cool setting to seal the hair after drying. Is the AirWrap effective in humid weather or will my hair frizz back up?
You had to go thru your hair a lot of times with the air wrap and your roots are still crinkled. The Air strait does the job in 1-2 passes. But you still have to hot curl. I used the air wrap smooth brush attachment and it gave my hair a nice finish. So when I did my silk press, the curls were really extra nice. My air wrap curls didn't hold at all. I am leaning towards sending my air wrap back.
if your curls arent holding properly with airwrap your not using product properly.. you should be using a bit amount of hair spray mousse on your hair prior to curling to hold it in place. its like your asking someone with natural straight hair to keep there hair curly for hours without putting anything to hold it, it might work for a an hour but it will lose its hold without support. In saying this, the airstrait looks good to use and will be a good addition to use alongside airwrap
My hair is not thick. It’s fine but I have a lot of hair so hence the volume. I do still wear my curls. And love them. I alternate between natural and straight hair styles 😘
I only use the Dyson firm smoothing brush to dry my hair and love it. My hair is way more courser than your hair though. The round brush I feel pull my hair to much. I really want the airstraight. Thanks for the comparison.
Your hair looks great! Are both tools a dryer? I am a little confused as to air wrap and air straight also is either one the original Dyson dryer. Thank you
Thanks babe. No, Dyson has a traditional dryer as well. It’s called supersonic. I have that one too. These two tools act as a dryer and styler in one. That’s the best way to describe it.
The Airstrait, if you keep it clamped closed, works as a dryer without attachments. Not as powerful as the Supersonic. Think of it as an accelerated air dry! I just came from Nordstrom where the store associate did a demo 🤣
Well it’s technically the Airwrap is like 5 devices in one lol so while it’s expensive it’s not more expensive than buying a curling wand, a hair dryer, a hair dryer plus diffuser, a round brush plus hair dryer, etc
finally someone with curly hair using these!! I've been debating both of these tools for so long, thank you for this demo!!
No problem. I hope it helped ;)
This was a really good demo! I think you’re more of a 3B, but the curly hair demo was so informative. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Hmmm, maybe because my hair is heat trained the curls look looser
I loved the brush side ❤️
Thank you love!
I prefer the volume so like the the air wrap side
Yeah, both are giving! Thanks for watching sis
LOVE my Airstrait. Its pretty amazing, I like it pin straight only though.. Like the airstrait side on u : )
Thank you girl!
Agreed 👍🏻
Thankyouuu dear ,was been searching for a comparison between both video ❤

That’s true. I have that same issue with the roots
I got the airwrap watching all the 3c girlies forgetting that I have 4b hair lol.
Do you like it so far?

hahahha awwww. It still would work, but you'll need a good straightner if you want the sleek look. I do as well even though I have 3c curls.
I’m a 4c girly & I really like my airwrap so far.

I love that! The airwrap has that same cooling setting too but it gives a more voluminous look. It really depends on what your preference is

Your hair is so thick. I'd love to have this thickness and health. So you're no longer concerned with maintaining your natural curl pattern?💚
My hair is not thick. It’s fine but I have a lot of hair so hence the volume. I do still wear my curls. And love them. I alternate between natural and straight hair styles 😘
Thank you for the honesty
you really helped 👍🏻👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

this type of hair is to be admired
Wow! Thank you!

@@makeupbykifana yes, that's absolutely true. I'll do a airstrait, supersonic, airwrap comparison soon ;)
@@ThesselyJuliet I bought the Supersonic then the Airstrait. Wondering if I should return one. They’re both still in the box!
I am happy I got into your channel, and I now think you made my decision very easy. 😆 tks, new sub
yey! thanks for subbing! I appreciate the support!
When you refresh your edges do you wet your hair or will the air wrap blow them out without any moisture required?
No moisture required. I love it!
Love the blow out side
♥️♥️
Have you compared using the smoothening brush on the airwrap ?
Yeah, not a fan. Not for my type of hair at least
The airstrait looks so good! The other side looks more like u just woke up but with sexy hair
hahahaha I dig that description!
is there a way to get more volume via other tools after using it or does the air straight completely eliminate any chance of getting voluminous hair😭
Nah, there's definitely still volume there.
This is an awesome review. Thank you! You’re gorgeous btw!
Thank you so much!!
Wow, thank you 🤎😀
You’re welcome 😊
Also do you use heat protectant with the air straight?
No, I don’t.
I have 2b/c type hair. Should i go for airstrait? For sleeker hair look?
Yes, I think you will enjoy it!
Is it heavy compared to normal airbrushes? Or lighter
I would say a bit heavier but not in a way that it is too heavy to handle
How is your hair thw next day? Or in a humidity day?
My hair stays styled for about a week, no problem
A week for the airwrap or air straight? @@ThesselyJuliet
Thank you so much for this video
You’re welcome babe
Very informative.
Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
How long does either of them last on your hair sweety?
If I don't workout, a good week for sure. If I wrap it at night it can even go 1.5 week.
Im sitting here thinking will the air straight work on my 4 c hair. Very thick. Anyone tried with that hair type?
I would recommend you to get the supersonic + corrale if you want a sleek silk press finish.
@@ThesselyJuliet Thank you Hun. I'll look it up x
I needed this. Thank you so much
You're so welcome! Glad you enjoyed it
I love the Airstrat more, I will sell the Airwrap then 😊
That's great. Yeah, I don't think you need both.
What’s your heritage/background? You have a lovely accent 🙂
I’m from Curacao 🇨🇼
My question is why is it so expensive lol
there's a lot of research that goes into creating the technology and branding/prestige.
@@ThesselyJuliet thank u ☺️ love your video by the way

I’m beyond happy with my Airstrait
It’s worth every penny
I’m so glad to hear that 🫶🏾
Airstraight is $100 off at Ulta and Sephora 😅
Love that!
I just got one from the dyson official site with original price....😢
Hi Thessely 👋
Hello 😊
It doesn’t do a good job with roots
yeah, as mentioned in the video
