Great job shaking it off Yuka! With drops being so mental; it can be very tough to pick yourself up, gather it up, and send it again. Especially knowing you will need to go faster. Love the videos.
I love how helpful everyone is in this sport (at least in your videos and Eric's!), and seeing such enthusiasm and encouragement and helpfulness in those kids is just so great. They want you to succeed!
Recently subscribed Yuka. Loving your videos so much. You are too cute and I'm learning lots. Keep up the great work xx love and support from Australia.
nice job recouping and clearing it Yuka! wow!! if ever you guys come out east.. waaaaayyyy east... the gaspé region of quebec has more and more trails ;)
Glad you got out of that ok, we were getting worried after no video last week. I also wear glasses and the best solution I've found is actually a pair of perscription safety glasses with transition lenses, they provide better protection than most riding glasses, have my perscription lenses, and also transition so double as sunglasses when it's bright out.
i do the same. if i can still walk after a crash i go up and hit it again. i think this is the key to get mentaly stronger. its hard but the benefit is huge. you strong yuka!!
I like youre to see your progress. I dont think that i would be able to do the drop this big after crashing on the bottom by the first try. Very good job!
That is so awesome 🤘 Last year i had a young rider tow me in on a drop and I’m 44! Kid was super cool and super skilled! Keep up the great vide! Have you tried contacts?
SUGOI!!!!! Also the footage does not give the size of these features any justice. The clown shoes drop is certainly more scarier than it looks on film!
Those kids are what our sport should\is about! Helping and encouraging our fellow riders and people in general when we can. Their parents should be proud, even the littlest gestures can go a long way to encourage someone.
Yuka you're A-1 in determination, the way you can channel positive vibes to get over your fears is great!! And I like your commentary thru the video..👍
my godness i jumped on my chair when you crach on drop, make me scary for you , well done for the courage, the powerfull and the feeling of your videos , and well done for the work.....asome team ;-)
Wow you absolutely tanked that crash! I had a crash a while ago that put me out, mainly because my bike wheel got crushed. The way you can do these massive drops, wreck, and get back up is amazing.
You should go back to the Air Rec Center and learn to whip on the airbag! Then if you feel like you’ve got it on the airbag take it to the real jumps. Love the vids!
Yu-can-do-it! Drops for lighter riders can be a bit of an issue because you don't keep you're momentum and speed as much, so then you can stall out and case... just give a few extra pedal strokes just like you did! :) I'm unsure if you do want to see what you are ridding but if you do, a good pair of sport glasses like Rudy's is a good idea. You can have lenses made for them or wear with contacts... just don't lose them, they're expensive :P
I enjoy seeing you progress both mentally & physically in your riding. I also can't help but wonder if maybe you would improve even more by just wearing your glasses when you're riding, like remember how that little adjustment to your bar height made a big difference for you?
Was the lander and berm adjusted, or was it just a change in perspective as your skills have been progressing? You're great at dusting yourself off and conquering challenges!
Sports glasses that people use for basketball/soccer (futball). Have straps and fitted. Very inexpensive through Walmart if you know your prescription and size.
@Yuka - I ski and MTB. I am also slightly short sighted to the extent that I often don't wear my glasses out and about. But even then I wear 1-day contact lenses when out skiing/MTBing. You don't realise how bad you miss the sharp vision especially if you are riding through forests with dappled shade and at speed. It also means you can wear your "normal" sunglasses or goggles as needed.
when is Stone Starlet Opening? I live kinda close and want to ride it SO BAD. Great video! Thanks! Edit: Close as in Somewhere in BC. Where is the trail anyway?
Anyone else just amazed at how Yuka approaches difficult things? She acknowledged the difficulty, then sends it anyways.
She’s just like
Ok I’ll do it
After like 1 run up
This woman is fearless.
I love bikes
Bones mend, hit send
lets stop being surprised and maybe more chicks will be like that....
Yuka’s drops are becoming Eric’s step ups
Match made in heaven, they'll just meet in the middle
@@t20sgrunt36 Yep!
You’re right …🤔 no no no! I don’t want to get into that hole!!
NOOOOOOO
That was a hefty thump. Tries it again immediately afterwards. Yuka's mental game puts mine to shame
Great job shaking it off Yuka! With drops being so mental; it can be very tough to pick yourself up, gather it up, and send it again. Especially knowing you will need to go faster. Love the videos.
You must send right away otherwise it’s gonna haunt you🥶
No nonsense, just taking care of business. Your approach is an inspiration.
Just have fun out there😊👍🏻👍🏻❤🚴♂️
I love how helpful everyone is in this sport (at least in your videos and Eric's!), and seeing such enthusiasm and encouragement and helpfulness in those kids is just so great. They want you to succeed!
I love how you Crash and just get upp again.
I didn’t get up early enough this time 😂 Eric came to help me ❤️
Good job on the drops love your videos
Respect for this achievement. Such a fall and then just do the drop again. That was awesome.
I loved seeing your victory! It definitely made me smile and feel like cheering for you 😁😁
Glad to see you brush off the dirt and get back to it. Very motivating and brave.

Maybe this is my 6th year of riding 😁
Way to go back and get it!
Great video Yuka! I was at Whsitler yesterday as a tourist. No biking.
Such a fun video, Yuka! I love your insights and life applications. I feel like I can do more and be more after watching this.
love you Yuka!!! You are so inspiring!!!!!!
I was cheering so hard for you when you went back up to hit the drop again. That was great, you're such a courageous person, Yuka!
Your optimism and lack of fear is something I don’t possess. Great job!
Because you’re mature and responsible for your act😁
I love the kids giving pointers!
I just love listening to your commentaries... Well done Yuka!
You got guts Yuka! God Bless!
楽しそうですね。動画だけでテンション上がります。いつか私もウィスラーに行きたい、、、。

Yuka you are a machine, well done
Yuka you're A-1 in determination, the way you can channel positive vibes to get over your fears is great!! And I like your commentary thru the video..👍
You are the best Yuka
Looks like Yuka will maintain without changing the bike. It's better that way so Yuka can get along with that bike.
These people are living my dream. And those kids I don’t understand how much confidence they have.
I’ve been waiting for this video
Awesome video Yuka! I think you should learn to whip not so much for style but to get you more loose in the air and help crash less!
I need a coach 🤩 looking for one…
Nice, congrats
I’d love to see a top to bottom run edit of Stone Starlet
Me to!
Is your profile pic the last jump on gravy train at duthie @MCPOV

There is the drop with that one massive huge step up that sends you to Mars.. Dirt Merchant drop and stepup.. SENDDDDD ITTTTT‼️
As always, my favorite video to watch. Don't care what you ride, just keep up the good commentary and sending it. Go wild boar.
Respect for getting up and going again🤘
The reason why I love Thursday!!!!
Tech lines are more exciting to watch imo, but do what ever you find the most fun.
Yuka you are a BEAST!!!!

Wow you absolutely tanked that crash! I had a crash a while ago that put me out, mainly because my bike wheel got crushed. The way you can do these massive drops, wreck, and get back up is amazing.
I watch these videos and think, "Wow, that's so far above my skill level right now."

Good on you Yuka! I wish I was as brave as you
Thank you! You are an inspiration for me to overcome my fears. I usually get towed in by the 11 year old I ride with (I'm 52!).
Suuuuuuper impressive!!
I think next ride you should do what you want, either way your always entertaining 🚴🎬
Yuka sending it is amazing!

Good work! Glad that munch wasn't too bad!
PS: Seeing Eric try and stop before that rainy step-up always makes me cringe. Ooof.
I enjoy seeing you progress both mentally & physically in your riding. I also can't help but wonder if maybe you would improve even more by just wearing your glasses when you're riding, like remember how that little adjustment to your bar height made a big difference for you?
Actually, seeing well helps🤣 now I always need my glasses!
You the Beat YUKA!!!
Hell ya, Yuka! Get back on it and do it again!
Look at you go! Keep keepin on! :)
I’d like to see you ride the tech trails
Yuka woozily gets to standing, almost falls over, then hubbie asks, you want to do it again? Yuka sure! I'm humbled! 😂
Was the lander and berm adjusted, or was it just a change in perspective as your skills have been progressing? You're great at dusting yourself off and conquering challenges!
Yuka the bike park champ!
Sports glasses that people use for basketball/soccer (futball). Have straps and fitted. Very inexpensive through Walmart if you know your prescription and size.
