    Nice video m8.
I had that same excitement when I switched from my T-300 to GT DD pro.
A DD base is so much smoother to turn and gives you better information through the wheel.
For us simracers it’s good that there are more and more brands out there that deliver better hardware for us.
Some criticism on Thrustmaster, they are the last to deliver a DD on the market and I find it a bit disappointed that with the release there isn’t a console version and a new rim that doesn’t need the adapter to connect it to the base. For such a big company they could have done more/better.
    Kind regards.

Appreciate the kind words. Thrustmaster while late to the market have given us a finished product and not released early and had issues. They've confirmed that in 2023 new wheel rims will be coming so we'll just have to wait for that. Lack of console support is a bit of a bummer as an ex console racer myself but there are alternatives out there

Congrats on new wheel, sorry but if offering a review shouldn't you sort of know what the buttons on the side do? At least one of them turns off the FFB I think. And related to a discussion in a thread here, I looked up the user manual on the support site and it does indeed state that you should not remove your hands from the wheel when it is in use. It was a warning, I don't specifically recall that it would void warranty but anyway, it had me thinking, I often pause a session to grab a keyboard/mouse to make a software change so my hands wouldn't be on the wheel, but the game is technically paused so maybe that's not the same thing... Or maybe one could remove ones hands and use the button on the side to turn off the FFB 😁

I am quite sure the "don't remove your hands from the wheel" thing is to prevent you from hurting your fingers when doing it wrong. Like when full power hits (during a crash for example) taking your hands "mostly" off, but a thumb still in the rim, or such. Of course, everybody takes off the hands during a pit stop or when in the game menu or so.

Be careful with leaving your hands off the wheel while driving unless you predict a crash or a big hit. This is not recommended at all.
