Dear Varun Sir, This delicious dish is a rich creamy chicken curry named after the Mughal Queens. It was created for in the royal kitchens of the subcontinent. Over time, this has become a favorite across Pakistan and India for its unique taste and rich texture. Take a bow from West Bengal. Love your simplicity... Thank you. 😊
Chef a big hello from Bangkok. Thank you for this wonderful dish. I made it today and treated my friends. I experimented with a little bit of sugar when the ghee was melting to impart that little sweetness and caramelized color and added milk in place of milk powder to get that little bit of richness. The result was even more spectacular
Made this today - awesome recipe! Especially the spice mix for the base is amazing. A couple of deviations: used boneless thigh cuts due to family preference, marinated the chicken in ghee, salt and pepper for an hour to soften it, added minced garlic along with onions as we love garlic. I found that 20 minutes at the end is too long, the gravy started getting stuck to the pan at around 11 minutes. Everything else was identical to your method, and it was the best chicken I've ever made! The gravy was so rich and creamy! Thank you so much for broadening my cooking knowledge beyond the basic bachelor chicken!
6:28 awesome color of the freshly ground paste. I made this right on the next day of the video upload. Turned out very good, creamy and peculiar taste of coriander and milk powder dominating a little bit. The guests loved it (they were Aussies, so didn’t turn out to be too spicy even though I followed exact measurements). Very rich and unique gravy. I substituted chicken-on-bone to big pieces of thigh pieces which made it succulent.
This is the only food channel I watch where the chef is talking. Thank you for making every of your videos relaxing and easy to watch. Love from Maldives.
Hi Varun. This is a wonderful recipe. I cooked it once earlier and it was a hit . Today I have cooked it again for my daughter's birthday because she wanted this preparation. I am not much of a cook but your instructions are so comprehensive that I managed to cook it well. Thank you.
Chef your recipes are excellent, what I like the most is the way you explain step by step with so much patience and you do it very gently, even a school kid can learn all your recipes, thank you and God Bless you 🌷👌
Followed this recipe to the dot and trust me it was rich in texture and taste had the toasted taste of the raw spices. Two completely different flavors amalgamated together! Truly said, a unique recipe.
Hi Varun! This is Anthony Fernandes from Oberoi, at one point of time we were working together. Now I have taken over my home kitchen after my retirement and now under the guidance of Chef Varun Inamdar I have started cooking at home, and I enjoy it. God Bless You Dear.
The recipe is so outstanding, that even a rookie like me was also able to surprise everyone. A little addition of mine was including just a hint of nutmeg along with the spice mix and a bit of keora water at the end.
Hey, I cooked this recipe yesterday, it's really delicious & aromatic. All thanks to Bombay chef Varun Inamdar. I want to increase the quantity of chicken to 1kg, should I double up the measurements of masala?
I always love Indian cuisine, a few months ago I decided to start learning, this channel was the perfect choice for me I am thankful for all your simple recipes, I am thankful for the chef, I have learned from you two recipes so far like "Chicken Biryani and Butter Chicken" and I am looking forward to learn from you more and more 😊👏

How's was the taste like when we eat butter chicken, chicken tikka masala or desi style kadhai chicken thry has a certain classic taste to them so how do u compare this with them?
@@sachinmajotra9665 it is creamy like butter chicken and a little sour but tastes great. Keep an eye on how much curd you add and how sour the curd is. I was surprised at how well the combination of cashews, curd, milk powder and coriander turned out. You can increase the spice if you wish by adding some peppercorns when you roast the spices.
Loved this recipe! Since you don't have to marinate the chicken, It comes together in just an hour including the cooking time. I only adjusted the chillies for my spice tolerance. It turned out great and everyone loved it!
I have subscribed it yesterday midnight and I 'm amazed to watch the recipes and the way you navigate the cooking procedure. I liked watching the cheese mushroom recipe of yours and it holds a special place in your heart. I m sure uncle is watching you doing such a brilliant job from wherever he is now.
