I don't fully grasp this form of meditation. I've only really done breathing meditation but I've watched your vids for the tongue drum videos because I found them relaxing. I'll definitely check out this new channel too though. And who knows, maybe I start to understand this form of meditations eventually? Your motives are very respectable. You seem like a great guy and a great father. Keep it up! Greetings from Finland
Hello and GOOOOOOD MOOOORNINGGGGGG! It's really about calming sounds. Our bodies consist of multiple frequencies. The beating of our hearts, the frequencies of my brain etc. Take music.....childrens music......majority are set in the key of C. or you can "say" happy pitches/tones/frequencies. As we get older- those frequencies are embedded and will be triggered as "happy times" or "innocence" We are surrounded by frequencies every day. As we sleep.....daily routines etc. Each and every frequencies dictate our "mood" for that moment. Sounds that we like and sounds that we dont. Sounds that we embrace and sounds that are forced upon us ( loud noises etc). Tongue drums and handpans, releases harmonic frequencies- most find them soothing or relaxing.....or calming....and much more. We listen to soft music when we want calmness. Classical music has that effect on us. Thats why some will cry listening to Chopin or Bach. The emotions conveyed through the progressions of sounds. There is No right , or wrong. What fed you. What calmed you down. What soothed you. Frequencies has been used since the dawn of man. Bible talks about it. Buddhism prescribes it. Hinduism encouraged it. Reading the Quran(Islam)- is a form of using human voice and pitches. All we can do....as we get older....is embrace what is "good" for us.And what is " right". Sounds are all around us. The running stream, the ocean waves.......the soothing sounds of rain, Gods gift to us all. As we feel. We hear. It's the sounds of LOVE. Have a blessed day!
@@maxandchloemeditation Thank you so much for the thorough explanation! I definitely understand where it's coming from and it does seem like a beautiful form of art and life.
