Chuck's Truck 🤔 yeah I know I would just guess that the crown Vic would be lighter if you add in the full I beams with drums, center k member that you cut out along with springs and perches. I know I can lift the Vic by myself just barely off the floor and I fount I could lift all the steel removed with the I beams.
1194video You sure do get a lot of bang for your buck going that route. Disc brakes all the way around, EFI engine AC, cruise. Of course you know cause you did your explorer swap. We drove it up to Louisville for the street rod nationals about a month ago. And it rode really well.
Chuck's Truck I did a Marauder swap awhile back and it was a lot of fun, there was a bit a flex behind the cab so had to have supports made but I didn’t video much at that time, I love the mountaineer /explorer swap I did on mine but it won’t run with a 4.6cv so that’s why I’m going coyote. May do a vmp supercharger too
tim lewis thank you! Going to be doing a video soon on installation of box in kit and getting factory CV rear bushings modified to be adjustable, next week I’ll be getting some goodies I can’t wait to show everyone
Do you know if that factory hole on the bottom of the frame is on 65 f100 as well? I'm gonna remove my cv and install a mustang 2 ifs instead but I need to find center again since the cv looks to be moved forward.
Its a great conversion I used B.Y.C .kit saved me time and head ache ! Your video great job!!
Great video. Well exsplaned. Look forward to see the next one. Thanks

Good job, can't wait to see it finished.
Rkunsaw Garage been taking a little break from it to work on my wife’s 55 F-100 but I can’t wait myself to take it down the road for the first time.
Tankyou so mi h buddy 👍🏻💯
It would be interesting to see the difference in weight between the twin I beam and the CV setup.
